  1. ick. My question is: who would said petition be addressed to?
  2. I don't care what the players think either. A lot of them suck and deserve to be booed. But I do care that is sure looks like nothing has changed. Wouldn't you be pumped if RB came out and said they were ending it because it forfeited home field advantage and wasn't the right thing to do? I would have been.
  3. And the front office changed how??? Clearly a marketing move with the bottom line being the number of profitability and not wins. Don't even try to justify it. It sucks.
  4. Good topic. I think Ertz is the highest rated, but there's been positive ink on about 6 guys. I think the 3rd round would be a good area for the Bills to pick up a TE. Prob too late for Ertz or Eifert, but maybe Fauria?? It's still early in the process, but I agree that it should be an area of priority for the Bills.
  5. I know he's still fast. Maybe he can throw it deep and then go catch it himself.
  6. According to Pettine, the answer is 'Yes'. That being said, this team is ill suited for a 3-4. No logical NT and no good linebackers (was Carrington tried at LB?). I think Carrington is one of the few defensive players drafted for the 3-4 that make sense. I think he will start and be a fixture for the Bills defense in 2013. Even more so than Kyle Williams. Carrington is a prototypical 3-4 end who can slide inside on passing downs. Huge jump under Pettine's defense.
  7. My mirror says the same thing. No freakin way this happens.
  8. That's fine. The Bills aren't going to beat the Pats anyways.
  9. I look forward to the collective NOOOOO!!!!! when Buddy trades up for the 1st pick in the 2nd round and takes EJ Manuel. Then, we'll rally. By May 15, the consensus on this board will be that it was a good pick.
  10. I'm guessing we have the Cornelius Bennett trade to thank for this mentality. The "magic bullett" is on someone else's roster and all we have to do is trade for him (usually a 3-5th rounder) and the Bills will be all set. I am sure the Bucs know this is a crappy year to go shopping for a QB and I doubt they'd get rid of him now.
  11. They may not need to trade anywhere to get their guy in 2014. Odds are better than average they are top 10 next year.
  12. The number of points is the wrong stat to focus in on. I'm sure (without looking it up), Fits had either a key 3 and out or turnover that cost the Bills those games. He doesn't win. The defense will be better if the Bills get a better QB.
  13. I know it looks good to take 2 QBs because of the Redskins' success, but I wouldn't take 2 QBs this year. Take 2 DEs instead. Get your 2nd QB next year.
  14. I could not agree with Polian more. What you do is build the rest of the team....get an aging QB with a decent track record (Hasslebeck) on a 1 year deal, draft a decent prospect this year and a better prospect next year. If the rest of the team is really good, they might "Dilfer" a good season.
  15. NOBODY. Sign your own. Draft well.
  16. He looked pretty bad in Chicago this year. Kinda reminded me of Trent Edwards with his short throws. Why waste your time? I guess you have to start someone and it sure doesn't look like it's going to be a rookie.
  17. For all we know, Geno Smith sucks just as bad. He just wasn't there to prove it.
  18. Are you talking about Nassib or Fitzpatrick??
  19. I would argue that if Buddy DID know QB talent, he wouldn't have passed on the 4 franchise QBs that he could have had. He wouldn't have given Fitz such a huge contract after 5 decent games. And he wouldn't have leaned on Gailey so much (about QBs). It's still Buddy bashing, but at least it's on point.
  20. Well, wood and Levitre were already here when Buddy got here. Pears sucks. But Glenn looks like a stud, so I give him that. Our Trenches on the other side were abysmal.
  21. I just can't believe anyone wants more of the Ryan Fitzpatrick show. Then again, Johnny Knoxville made a career out of getting kicked in the nuts.
  22. Also remember the Jets were horrible at getting to the QB the last 3 years. They were so bad they brought in Mayhem. Going back to his Baltimore days, I think the thing that makes this defense effective is being thick in the middle and having that 1 Bryce Paup style swing guy who can pressure the edge. Personnel-wise, the Bills have questions at NT, OLB, OLB, ILB, and ILB. I'd sit on the 3 CBs they drafted high and see how good they are at press/man. They have too many needs to take another CB.
