  1. You know what, I have to give the Bills credit. No matter what you think of Buddy, the Bills are sheeding key players of a filed generation.
  2. Well, since they are not signing someone to a BIG contract, shouldn't the Bills end up getting some comp?
  3. Doesn't it help the Bills when Levitre signs a HUGE contract (compensatory)?
  4. Other that his admitting that he's struggling with a guy he committed to a very short time ago...I agree. And I'm not beating on Buddy with this question, but, if this was a bad year to need a QB, wouldn't you expect the Bills to do something in last year's draft to address the position? Or don't teams think in 2 or 3 year cycles...
  5. I thought about that. But wouldn't he say something a little more direct?? Like "how's your qb situation"?
  6. Oh it's coming......My biggest thing is he wouldn't have been so expensive if he was signed at the right time. But at 8-9 mil??? Thanks a lot of coin.
  7. My words are irrelevant compared to Buddy's actions. The fact that he has no idea what to do at QB will be proven (again) this year. But he's your guy....I get it.
  8. Seriously....that's what I heard. Oh Whatever....
  9. The coolest thing about this phone call is it's bridging us to 4pm.
  10. That's what I heard. But then again, I guess we hear what we want to hear. I think Buddy is among the most incompetent GMs in Buffalo Bills history. So everything I hear out of his mouth supports that conclusion. I can accept that. But I am utterly shocked at the confidence on this board that A. Buddy is a good football guy and has done a good or even decent job, or B. Even though Buddy has sucked, he has done some good and will turn this around, or, finally C. Buddy's not really in charge, Whaley is (and he'll do better). That is some serious optimism and I commend you all for that.
  11. Ok. I guess I'm just being a "Buddy hater". He really has done a good job and given us very little reason for concern. You guys just have way more confidence in him or more patience that I do. Something. I dunno.
  12. A. I would have a plan. I would have 2 or 3 plans.B. I would not share it with someone who could directly affect any of my plans. The thing I like about the Seahawks is they know what they want, then go get it. Buffalo's plans: Trent Edwards. Nope. Cut him. Ryan Fitz. 5 games. Pay the man. Oops. He sucks. Cut him?? 3/4. 4/3. 3/4. Multiple. Even Buddy saying "we're all set at OT". Good god...it's frustrating.
  13. "I don't know WHAT we're gonna do at quarterback" Buddy Nix
  14. There's no cash to take. He already took his last penny from the Bills unless he's on the roster tomorrow.
  15. That's what I took from it. It's also distressing that the GM states "I don't know what we're gonna do about quarterback". I would think he would have a plan. Doomed.
  16. I'd be doing backflips if they got Barkley at 8. I think he's solid.
  17. As a little side note...A friend of mine is a Jets season ticket holder and he decided to break his PSL contract and not buy his season tickets. He owed $5k on a $7,500.00 PSL. The Jets sent numerous letters threatening to sue. Had some big law firm send a threatening letter. Called him several times. He repeatedly told them he would renew when they cut Tim Tebow and fired Rex Ryan. He expected to go to court. Last week, they called and offered to move him from the 10 yard line to the 40 yard line and NOT charge him the incremental $12,500 PSL AND they said he could pay the 10 yard line ticket price for 2 years. He took the deal. Isn't it great to see the desperate Jets.
  18. Maybe our Northern and Western scouts are the problem. Maybe THEY suck. When you see a Russell Wilson or Bobby Wagner....stand on the table and scream a little bit. Maybe interrupt Buddy's fishing competition with the SE Scout.
  19. We've had these threads for 3 straight years....then Buddy sends in his pick with 10 minutes left on the clock and picks his guy.
  20. I don't think the Bills can use retreads to build this team and sustain any level of success. I can't think of any franchise that has been successful doing it and I hope the Bills just hold onto their $$ so they can pay their own (assuming they eventually draft players worth keeping).
