  1. Bad year for QBs. So draft 2? With all the holes on this roster, draft 1 if the round is right. I just don't want to see the Bills draft a Kyle Boller/Cade McNown in the 1st and answer it with Jimmy Claussen/ Brody Croyle in the 3rd.
  2. Achilles injury has been the end of a lot of players. He may come back, but don't expect what he was.
  3. If this is such a bad year for QBs, why would we take 2??
  4. It was the crown. But then again, he only launched Isaiah Robertson, so it might have been a slight breeze.
  5. I dunno what the problem is. As opposed to hitting a defenseless receiver where the refs are to err on the side of throwing the flag, the refs are to err on NOT throwing the flag UNLESS it is obvious the RB is lowering his head INTO a defender. It's really no big deal. You can still dive into a gap and run with power. I think the flag will be thrown about 12 times next season for this infraction.
  6. Ozzie Newsome is one of the best GMs in the NFL. The Ravens will continue to win and it wouldn't surprise me if they were fighting for a playoff spot this year. Obviously, I disagree on Flacco. In about 5-7 years, maybe.
  7. Or I might just disagree, which based on your shotgun ignorant post, might be a sign of intelligence.
  8. I'm OK with the Bills doing nothing right now.
  9. I wouldn't go that far. A good TE is a built in match up problem that is an easier throw for a young (or bad) QB. And that quick throw could hide a bad OG and be a better option than a young WR who doesn't run routes well. And if it's for a 1st down, or even a series of 1st downs, the defense doesn't even have to come on the field, so you don't even need the MLB, OLB, S or CB. So THERE. They MUST take a TE. Seriously. It's a team game and they need it ALL. Don't kid yourself.
  10. Do you think the Bills would do that deal again this year? I wonder...
  11. Well, letting Levitre, Fitzpatrick, Kelsay, Wilson, Barnett etc. go rather than over pay for their production, to me, is a sign that the Bills now even CARE about production. In the past, it seemed like they rewarded players with contracts just because they were here. But this off season has been a series of additions by subtraction that will allow this team to grow the right way (if they draft well). It'll be interesting to see what they do with Spiller, Wood and any other players worth locking up.
  12. i have to cop to that. It's great to see others.
  13. Great article. It really makes a lot of sense to me. Throw your big $$ at difference makers and save your money every where else. It explains why the Bills let Levitre go and it explains why there are so many optimistic free agents still left on the market. The Bills are obviously following this model. I like it. Now put together a good draft.
  14. Boom. Plus, he's known as a a "high motor" front office guy.
  15. I'm not on the ledge about it, but #14's contract kinda did hamstring the Bills a bit. I'm sure Buddy wishes he could take it back.
