    Austin hasn't been touched off the line or otherwise for 4 years and is the reason anyone is talking about Geno Smith. Buffalo may not have the luxury of taking him, but I think he's going to be very good. Like a faster Welker.

    Agreed. I really like Austin. I'm trying him on as the Bills pick, but there's depth at WR and, apparently, a similar kid at Hawaii. Maybe pass rusher 1st, but wouldn't be disappointed with Austin. Patterson. 1 year wonder. Raw. Athletic. Who knows....

    I'm all OUT on Geno Smith. I'm always cautious with QBs from spread offenses as they have a high bust factor. Kinda like Kolb.

    Quick, name the last LSU front 7 defensive player who has lived up to his draft pick......If it wasn't for Patrick Peterson, I would say ANY LSU defensive player. Seems like they bust a lot.

    Virtually guaranteed that a starter will come out of this draft. But whether it's in the 2nd or the 6th, who knows.

    If I were the Bills GM, I'd put a "no twitter" clause in every contract. It was truly a stupid comment that brings attention to #13 (again) for the wrong reasons. I could care less what he says, but THEY do care. Yikes. Sarcasm? I have a broken sarcasm meter since birth.

    Dansby and a bunch of guys who used to be. Pick them up later on the cheap. Other than Dansby, whom I think could help. He must be a real ahole if he hasn't been signed yet. That's the only explanation I can think of.

    The Bills passed on Deshaun Jackson to pick James Hardy. I don't care if they pick Austin as the Bills have other needs. I just think there's no way a guy with that production leaks out of the top 10 for a guard or a guy with a great 40. Production. Production. Production. And that's all I got to say about that.

    I'm still beating the drum for Tavon Austin. I don't care how big he is. With 40 TDs and over 7,000 yards in college, he's put up a TON of good tape. I think he'll be the surprise of this draft and will go in the top 10.

    It's threads like these that make me pause before going to TBD. I don't know why dumping on former players for BS makes people feel better. Why do you care what anyone says? You put a microphone in front of spoiled, immature millionaires, you're bound to get some interesting comments. So what.

    Kelvin Sheppard should be celebrating. I think he stinks, but he'll stink a lot less with a more stout DL. And this guy is more stout than anyone they have.

    FWIW, on Sirius NFL, Tim Ryan singled out Alan Branch as a DT worth signing. Not a Warren Sapp style penetrator, but more of a plugger. Paraphrasing Tim Ryan, not my assessment.

    I'm with you. I know there's a suggestion the we add irrelevant tails to giant threads, but I actually don't mind new threads. Particularly in this case, when a draft guy has a detailed analysis on why one of the top QB sucks, I think it's worthy of a new thread. As far as Nawrocki's analysis, it's harsh. A cross between Akili Smith and Aaron Brooks? Yikes!!!

    Yes. They need a WR. But taking a WR with major questions marks with needs at TE, OG, OT, OLB, ILB and maybe even DL is just stupid to me. If this guy was AJ Green or even a Crabtree, then maybe. I can't wait till draft day.

    If they take a 1 year wonder WR at 8, I will be beyond shocked. I highly doubt this will happen. They need an O-line. They need LBs. Just no way.
