  1. Depends on the round. 4th or lower....I say why not. I like Kelce. Ya know he scored 2 TDs against Marrone this year....
  2. I look at his massive production and have to respectfully disagree about Austin. I don't think he'll be the pick, but would be OK with it. I think it's smoke. I'm trying to put meaning on it coming from Whaley and not Nix, but I'm not sure it's appropriate. point taken
  3. Beat me to it. Maybe this lends credence to the idea that Byrd may be moved this year. They need to sign Byrd before camp or get something for him.
  4. I hear you....and your point is not lost on me. But how many non-playmaking choirboys do the Bills have to draft before we take a chance? I don't even know if I like the guy as a player, but the drug tests don't scare me. How many drug tests did Chris Carter fail before his HOF career took off?
  5. Now we're talking!!!. Not that I think the Bills are going to take Austin, but it's the kind of blustery talk than might get someone to move up...with us or 5-7. That may free up another choice.
  6. Sadly, nothing about this surprises me.
  7. I could actually see that....good combo.
  8. CHRIST!!! If that don't make you focus on football, what will? Reports say this guy catches everything. Good post and good article.
  9. Why are people negative on Barkley?
  10. It's not drugs. It's weed. If you eliminated every NFL player who smoked weed you couldn't field a team. If you eliminated every prospect who smoked weed, you couldn't draft one either. That being said, this guy seems to be a playmaker. He may be too small and that would be my worry, but he can jump out of the gym. I'm always interested in playmakers. And just a reminder, Mathieu did keep Ron Brooks on the bench and we drafted him fairly high.
  11. The most important thing he said was, and I'm paraphrasing cuz I don't speak Buddy, 'we will find out if he was worth the 8th pick in 2 to 3 years'. That tells me if Geno falls to the Bills, he will be a Bill. If they don't take Geno, they will wait till 41 and see who's there. That's my take on that interview. Then again, I guess you wouldn't advertise your plan to trade back up into the 1st.
  12. I was just parotting an earlier post.
  13. Thanks for the link. Good article.
  14. Does ANYONE have a problem with weed?? I "pass on grass", but I could care less if it was legal for pain management or recreational use. I assume broad legality will happen in my lifetime and the NFL will FOLLOW.
  15. I guess I'm just biased against paying for online opinions. I won't pay to be an "insider" and I won't pay for the Buffalo News. The opinions I value are readily found for free. So, when someone posts Mel Kiper's opinion, it's interesting and I'll read it. But it's worth little more than what I have to say around here.
  16. Like any position, sometimes good. Sometimes bad. I've looked for patterns of the successful teams. The only thing I've learned is they do a better job with EVERY pick, every free agent and every trade. The 1st round is just part of it.
  17. Cleveland is like Buffalo's cousin. It sucks for their fans. First Chudzinski, now this.
  18. He's got a great beard.....
  19. Thanks for posting the entire copy-written piece.
  20. Barkevious Mingo or Kenny Vaccaro. LSU and Texas. No more athletic freak OLB projections or safeties.
  21. For all the hype about Warmack, Cooper is getting some press as the top guard. Neither would upset me. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/ct-spt-0415-web-pompei-nfl-draft-preview-20130415,0,7362623.story
  22. One of your best drafts.....
  23. Really? I thought taxes were determined by where you are domiciled. So, say, Jason Mraz puts on 50 different shows in 50 different states and has to fill out 50 different tax forms?? I F'n hate our tax system. I can't understand it....and I studied it!!
  24. I don't have the energy to beat up on Buddy more than I have. Res Ipsa Loquitur.
  25. Was a strength....the best guy just left town. I'm not bitching as 8M is a lot for a guard, but now the Bills have an injury prone center, a promising LT, and average RG and 2 giant question marks. OL is NOT a strength of this team and is 1 injury away from being a major weakness.
