Josh Freeman got cut for a reason. At his best, he was a decent NFL QB. Manuel will be better (I think). So why would you want Freeman? And why would he come here?? Give me a break....

It was a good game against a good team that went down to the wire. The Bills have been in every game so far. With that roster, I'm happy. Except with Colon Brown.....how much can you watch 1 player struggle before you try a replacement. See Powell.

I am Dareus' biggest critic. But even I can see he's a different player this year. Their defense, with all it's injuries, doesn't look to be THEE problem. Although I think they can improve upon Bradham.

Props to Dareus and, really the entire defense. I had major doubts about their ability to play a whole game and they did. I hope they can duplicate this effort on Thursday night. Really a well played defensive game. The offense? THEY WON.

I am as hard on the Bills as any. But if we can give JP Losman 3 years, we can give this far more talented and motivated kid at least 2 before we kick dirt on him. Woods looks good. Alonzo looks good. Be patient. Look for the good and hope the bad falls away. That's all I got for you.

That makes sense about KW. I think he's a shell of what he was.

If you put a guy out on an island, give him NO help over the top and get NO pass rush, there's 3 or 4 CBs in the history of the game that would fare well. I'm not defending Rogers, but my guess is they'll back off with the safeties and give the CBs help this week. Of course, this puts pressure on the front 7 to stop the run and pick up the TE, but they just can't leave these corners naked again....and they won't.

I'll watch him again this week, but I haven't seen that from KW in a while.

Stole my thunder...But it's not just Alonzo. It seemed like the article hit on everyone but Kyle Wms (whom I think is DONE). Just like we have playmakers on offense, the Bills need playmakers in the front 7. Consistent playmakers. Until then...it'll be tough to win.

So it's generally "readable" for 6 weeks in the fall? I'm looking at the Bills the way I kept score when I was learning how to golf. I know there's going to be a lot of bad, but I'm looking for the good. EJ is good. Woods and Stevie are good. Chandler is good. Alonzo, Lawson and safety A. Williams are good. The rest....a good mix of double bogeys and picking up the ball.

It's worth considering. Anyone who thinks the Bills aren't early in the rebuild process is kidding themselves. There are very few untradeables on this team.
