  1. Just because that is their ideal does NOT mean they don't like what they have. Nice try.
  2. That Cleveland game, with sustained winds over 30 mph, was no game to judge a QB...or a kicker. I'm with you on the rest. If Fitz is our starter, we're F'd.
  3. The only team Fitzpatrick could have played for in 2009 was the Bflo Bills. We HAD NO offensive coaching staff. He not only will not be our starter, I give him decent odds of being out of the NFL in 2010.
  4. +1. Good post. It's obviously the smart thing to do. And hey, if one of the other QBs beat him out in Camp, then so be it.
  5. IDIOTS!!! You're matching last year's team against last years team. If you're playing Madden, maybe the result is predictable. Some teams go from 3 wins to 9 wins. Some go in reverse. People get hurt. Geez...it's freakin' April and people have the draft already graded as a C+ (or whatever!) and our record at 4-12 (or whatever!).
  6. Chan Gailey said it was an OPEN COMPETITION. The best guy starts. Edwards has the most experience, and probably the most talent, but who know if he's too scrambled to be effective. I have no expectations as to who it's going to be, but I have confidence that they will the best player.
  7. How dare you throwing logic on these people! They know everything about the QB position, the WR position and the inner workings of the Bills locker room. You are wasting your time.....
  8. The season is 4 months away. Our LT may or may not even be on our roster yet. Same with WR.
  9. Is he? I've never heard of the guy. I'm surprised anyone has knowledge of a UConn WR.
  10. And that grade is based on extensive research, film review and live talent evaluation.
  11. C'mon....a STIFF offensive line is not funny.
  12. Selvish Capers, Tony Washington or Doug Worthington.
  13. Nix has repeatedly said that the Bills have talent at QB and we're going to find out this year if they can play. It seemed clear to me. And I just have a hunch that the Bills will select a QB with one of their next picks (Nix also said that).
  14. Wait till Lynch gets on the Eagles or the Patriots and is the next Corey Dillon....killing us. He's a good player who grew up in the bowels of Oakland. If you expected Wally Cleaver, I think that was unrealistic. It is simply STUPID to trade a 1st round talent, leave yourself thin at RB, then draft a possible replacement in the 6th. Only if they get REAL value....a 2011 3rd or better, should they trade Lynch. Get over it people.
  15. I got my wish. Great pick. Look out Happy Jacks buffet!!
  16. I think the Pats have become so fixated on winning draft day they forgot about winning on Sundays. As good as they've been, they've gotten rid of a lot of good players and traded pick after pick just to get a higher next years pick. Sooner or later, you need to pick and pick something other than tight ends. I say "so what"!
  17. I looked at the NFL site for an Olineman worth taking in the 4th......notsomuch. WR is a surprise, but no OT at this point is not.
  18. Only because you've never heard of him. Consider the possibility that your fotball knowledge is more limited that guys who do this for a living.
  19. This is where scouts make their money. None of us have heard of him. It's nice to have the name recognition of your pick and have a little media hype behind the pick. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see with this guy.
