  1. Next flunkie. We'll see Brohm in Week 8 and Vinnie Testeverde in Week 12.
  2. Beat me to it. The Bills left years ago. This product is unworthy of our money and attention, yet, here we are. I do hope they lock out. If they do,I'm going to Italy with my season ticket money. Maybe I'll even bring the family.
  3. Yeah, he's washed up. And Best is no doubt a Hall of Famer.
  4. From INACTIVE to starter. Only on this board does this make sense to someone. You know what, I'm not doing anything on Sunday. I'm 6'3 205 and I can throw the ball a mile. Maybe I can start too. If QB is the problem and we have a better option, he will play.
  5. Either year, the Bills are excrement because of the lack of talent on the roster. Talent makes the coach, not the other way around. Jauron actually looked like a good coach with Urlacher, Briggs, Brown, Harris et al. And Belichick looked like Hank Bullough when he coached the Browns. It's WAY to early to judge Gailey as a coach. Criticsm of Nix/Ralph become more legit as time goes on, but two games for the head coach. No.
  6. Vick paid for his sins in a federal pen for over 2 years. That was his "eye". And that "eye" is what the legal system said was appropriate for the "eye" of whatever he did.
  7. Another guy let go or not considered because he's not the kind of high-character, low talent player that we like in Bflo.
  8. need more talent And 4 catches, 34 yards means #1. Edwards wasn't upright long enough on the plays called for Evans, #2. Edwards missed him, #3 Evans dropped it or #4. Evans ran the wrong route. Ridiculous.
  9. And if the Bills signed him next year and he leads them to the promised land, I am sure you'd feel the same way. Vick isn't all that different than most pro athletes. They all think the laws don't apply to them. Most of them are a-holes anyways. If you don't believe that, you are kidding yourself. Vick is a confident, talented NFL QB. Because I pay thousands to see these jamokes play, I want him, or a reasonable facsimile, playing QB next year. I either think that way or just stop following pro sports altogether.
  10. I personally hate the phrase "just sayin". I don't know why. But I am with you on the thought. If the Bills were serious about competing next year, their best chance is to get a talented, established QB. Vick is a free agent and deserves a big fat contract as much as any QB that will hit the market in march. If you want warm fuzzies, go see a movie. I want a talented QB on Sundays and Vick still has got crazy talent. I would love to see it!!
  11. There is something seriously wrong with some of you people. First, Randy Cross' mentioned that Evans was taken away by Charles Woodson (defensive player of the year) and the rest of the defense. His WHOLE POINT (that nobody bothered to listen to) was that the OTHER WRs have to get open and they did not. Second, Evans job is first dependant upon Edwards having good protection and also dependant upon the QB actually throwing the ball to him. You can all admit that the Bills have a horrible O-line and that Edwards sucks, but somehow Evans should be cut because he can't catch the balls that aren't coming to him. Finally, the debate over this #1 or #2 thing is about the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Who was Green Bay's #1? Jennings? Jones? Driver? Finley? THE BILLS NEED MORE TALENT. PERIOD.
  12. Yeah, the o-line was bad, but TE's clock is just a bit slow for this game. I reluctantly agree with the clueless haters. The problem is, we have no qualified replacement.
  13. ALL IS WELL...ALL IS WELL. REMAIN CALM...
  14. At least 5 drops and a 40 yarder to keller called back. My opinion, there's NO WAY they replace Sanchez. #1 - He's the franchise and they've invested alot in him #2 - He has all the tools that Brunell doesn't #3 - Most importantly, I don't see Rex Ryan EVER admitting the mistake of playing him right away. So I say he'll play 90% of the snaps this year, unless he gets injured.
  15. If Gailey does not replace him, it only means what he has on the bench is worse. I'll trust his judgment as his ass is on the line with that decision.
  16. You show excellent retraint. By the way, why is eveyone so sensitive. If it was not for Norwood, Nor-wide, and wide right, they would not have been SB25 champions. He's an important player for them to remember. Just because is sucks for us doesn't mean they shouldn't celebrate the missed kick. If we won against the Giants, would you mind the Giants #15 in the Field House?? People are too sensitive. Get over it.
  17. That discussion has no more or less value than this one. Opinions are like......
  18. The Jets don't have enough success to hate them.
  19. The report indicated the earliest the trade would take place is next Tuesday.
  20. I'm getting there. Part of me hopes they lockout/strike. They'd save me a ton of dough.
  21. As they say on ESPN, "C'MON MAN"!!! It's obvious?!! If he's not strong enough to handle LG, you're going to throw him out at RT, which is your power tackle?? C'Mon Man!!
  22. I can't write about, not think about Trent Edwards any more. If he steps up this year, he'll shock us all. If not, it's on to the UFL.
  23. Good answer. Gailey and Nix watch these guys play football for a living. After watching them every day, they decided Green is their best option. I don't see how we geniuses know any better. When Wang/Urbik/Meredith become a better option, I assume they will play.
