As far as Stroud bashers are concerned, I am at the front of that line. 3-4, 4-3, 4-2, 2-4. It doesn't matter. He gets blown off the ball on 50% of the plays and teams run right at him with confidence and regularity. When he finishes a play near the line of scrimmage, come talk to me about the linebackers. I can't defend the LBs, but Stroud is a heartless joke as a football player! Seriously, just watch him. I'm sure he's a great guy though and will soon get a contract extension. Did you see him get manhandled by Alge f'n Crumpler??

Thomas must be a 1st class A-hole. He can't find a job despite having a decent resume. He's a good example of 1 player, that being Ray Lewis, making everyone around him better. From Thomas to Jim Leonhard and Justin Bannan..whoever lines up with this guy was better. We need that kind of guy on our D. We need a defensive personality. ANY personality will do.

As questionable as Kelsay is at LB, who on that roster is better? I'm not saying I agree with an extension if the rumor is true, but there's just nobody behind him. Look at the depth chart. You point out his 5 or 6 sacks and there's no one else with 2. The question I have is: would he look any better behind a competent defensive line? Our D-line gets blown off the ball every other play. I know it chicken or the egg, but Kelsay might be more productive if he had ANY talent around him. To call him the weekest link with that motley crew around him is a joke. We just had a street free agent start at ILB!!

+1. Anyone singing the praises of Luck didn't watch that game. He looked like, well, Ryan Fitzpatrick. How did Luck do on his SAT's? I have to edit this post because I just "read up" on Andrew Luck. The game I saw (ND), he show up as a decent, but not great QB. There is a lot a press out there from people who know a lot more than me that says this kid is can't miss. One compared his arrival to Elway's because he does so many things fundamentally right. It'll be interesting how it shakes out.
