  1. Keep Whitner for anything but a 2nd. Listen folks, you have to build off something. If the Bills have any strength, it's thei DBs. You trade Whitner, you need to replace him. That will be a pretty high pick. Keep your DBs unless someone blows your doors off. I don't want to see another db drafted in the next 3 years. You want to blame Whitner for not stopping HOF Tomlinson 8 yards downfield after LT ran untouched (again) through our front 7. You're being very hard on Whitner. It's almost comical.
  2. I drafted him in the 20th round figuring he'd be traded.
  3. There are so many ways to find fault with this organization, why this? What if Lynch is suspended for a year soon? What if Spiller scores 10 TDs each of the next 7 seasons? What if the combo of Spiller/Freddy becomes extremely productive? Let it play out. 3 RBs, 8 years. OUCH!!!
  4. That would be shocking.
  5. On so many levels, every one of these personnel decisions should have been made in the offseason. We shouldn't have invested 4 weeks in Marshawn Lynch and taken that away from Spiller. Same with the QB spot and any other changes made in the next 2 weeks. I wish Nix would have addressed the roster in the business season so the football season wasn't such a sham. Using Parcell's terminology, we've decided what we want to cook without knowing what we have in the fridge. Why is all this so clear to so many, yet lost on our braintrust?
  6. ______________________, unknown position. Played college ball at Georgia Tech.
  7. 'Cause we had Cornell Green baby!!!
  8. Not everyone is perfect. The Jets moved up a couple times and the only ones they got in '07 are Revis and David Harris. The Ravens only still have Grubbs, Yanda and L'Ron McClain. JC, how does Modrak still have ANY reputation? You know Marv was just a figurehead. Can we rid ourselves of Modrak once and for all?
  9. If you said Whitner for a 4th, I think you'd have 31 teams in line for that deal. I think you guys criticizing Whitner are nuts. He plays behind absolute garbage and makes tackles. He's a solid tackler with speed. Has experience at SS and FS. I just don't get what's not to like. Maybe he's no Steve Atwater, but he's not Dwight Drane.
  10. Why not....he's not worth his salary at this point and really doesn't make a difference on Sundays. I like Lee Evans alot and would love to see him catching rainbows from Brett Favre.
  11. Kyle Williams
  12. And wasn't Shawn Nelson a 4th rounder?
  13. Who threw money away? Season tix went up dramatically over the past 5 years with these PR pumped FA signings, thus making RW $$. Have we retained ANY high priced FA?? Maybe they all have a purpose. Maybe not. I'm just entertaining the thought, sad as it may be.
  14. Your logic stinks. The Buffalo Bills are one of the country's 32 most expensive houses in a Billion dollar neighborhood. The value of the franchise is not dependant upon their success or failure.....and you leave Lucky Charms alone. They're delicious and now made with whole grain. I'd bet over half the people on this board are gone.
  15. Helluva good point.
  16. We should be better than that. You want to be cute, have fun with your bag. Get on TV. You're showing up your team and your city. That I can't support.
  17. I disagree with that. I think Ralph does care about Bflo. But setting up the justification for a relo is the only explanation I can come up with for Chris Kelsay and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Watch our season tix # next year. I know I'm dropping at least 4.
  18. Moses Malone, Randy Smith, Tiny Archibald.....I think they all went for cash. I know we didn't sell any players, but $78M later, we have 1 less home game. I know it was just a crazy thought, but what else works?? You can't tell me he's made these series of decisions in order to win...I don't buy it. BTW - Did our season ticket base go up or down?
  19. Doesn't it make more sense that Ralph is putting a crappy product on the field to lessen the blow of them leaving? Don't hire football people. Pay rock bottom for GMs, Coaches and "talent". It's not that he's senile and he has good intentions. I think he maybe stripping this town of our pride in this team so it's easier to say goodbye. Maybe it's a paranoid delusion I had after having one too many bowls of Lucky Charms, but it does make sense, doesn't it? I hope I'm as far away from right as can be. And before you say "the Bills can't leave Bflo", I ask where you live.
  20. I hope nobody. I WOULD support anyone who punched those bags. Bills fans should never go there.
  21. I'm pretty sure what the response will be, but if we had ANY talent up front, I think Whitner could be Leonard Smith-like. Darryl Talley. Love the guy. But if he plays better in SB 25, Bills win. He would tell you he had one of the worst games of his life.
  22. Didn't need David Harris to tell me that.
