  1. I thought Troupe showed some good push today. Our LBs are the worst in team history.
  2. Dante Whitner is the least of our worries. How many sacks or even pressures did the Bills have? I can't believe how many posters have a woody for Whitner. I can't take my eyes off Kelsay trying to play in space or Maybin on the sidelines.
  3. Take Ironhead's kid. Sounds legit. The Bills cannot pass on a great footbal player....unless he's a RB.
  4. In today's NFL, Pete Metzelaars wouldn't even make a squad. If he's your goal, that doesn't say much. AND, why jump on the negative with everything? Nelson is a big kid with speed and hands. Way bigger and faster than anyone the Bills had in the last 10 years. He might just be good.
  5. As bad as they are, it will get better. The teams the Bills play also get worse. There's NO way they admit mistake and change.
  6. I hear you. But I'd rather see progress from our current roster and maybe actually win a coupla games, making next year something other than a team coming off an 0-16 season.
  7. Why "lil donte"? I've never heard that before and I don't get it.
  8. I'd rather Spiller go off in a few games. I'd rather the young linemen we have on both sides of the ball shock us and play really good ball in the 2nd half. I'd rather Brohm take over and surprise us as our QB of the future. Who knows what's going to happen the rest of this season, but if you root for 0-16, you root for bad football. I'd rather see good football.
  9. +1. You can almost set your watch by Sullivan's whining. But I understand. He is getting paid to write something.
  10. Vote with your feet. Please, give up those tix on the 45 yard line, about 25 rows up. What's a Bills fan gonna do? Watch the CFL?
  11. Where is Mankins gonna play? NE has 1st round pick McCourty who looks great for a rookie CB. I could see the Lee Evans thing. If anything, I see Belichick looking to bolster 2012 draft. He has 12 picks or so in 2011 and how many can make your team?
  12. Ahh....this is fun... First, the Patriots (Maroney), Saints (Bush) and Colts (Addai) all recently invested #1 picks on RBs with good RBs on their roster. 2nd - Look at picks 10-20 and tell me who would you rather have? I'm guessing you'll say A. Davis. But if your evaluation tell you he's the OT version of Maybin, do you go with Davis because he's the right position or Spiller because he's the right talent? I have no problem with BPA if the player adds something that you don't already have. Since Spiller is tied for the team lead in TDs and he has no idea what he's doing (schematically), I'll reach and say he adds something.
  13. I hear you. But every decision seems to suck the life out of us. Buddy Nix - Who?? Chan Gailey - What?? Another RB - Really? Extend Chris Kelsay when he looks sooooo lost. I know it's asking for high level thinking, but I just can't make sense out of the Bills' actions. And besides, all the logical landing spots for NFL franchises have been filled. And LA isn't ripe yet (but it's getting there).
  14. He really wasn't that good...even when he played. We were screwed by not having his replacement on the roster.
  15. They'll nickel and dime offenses to death with the likes of Welker, Edelman, Woodhead, Hernandez, Gronkowski & Tate. NE should be a playoff team, but that's where Moss is important.
  16. Wouldn't that be great. Never gonna happen. But it'd be great.
  17. Because Spiller was the best player by a mile. Would you rather have possible Tony Dorsett or possible Aaron Maybin? If you look at picks 10-20, there's ???? all over the place. I'd rather take something closer to a sure thing with a skill set not present on the team than a questionable talent at a position of need.
  18. Their DTs are weak? Stroud is weak. You couldn't get a box of tape for Stroud at this point in his career.
  19. I never heard of "Coach Sal", but I launched it out of curiosity. The guy is pretty good! Definitely entertaining and seems well informed. Still dunno who he is, but thanks for the link.
  20. Is it me or does it seem like NE has been stockpiling draft picks forever? Sooner or later, while Brady is still playing, why wouldn't they keep some of their players or spend all those draft picks to upgrade their team. I think letting Vrabel and Seymour go when they did and now trading Moss unnessecarily weakened the Pats all for to sake of stockpiling draft picks. And you know he's going to trade one of his #1s for more picks. They have not won the Superbowl for 6 years now. I think Belichick is leaving himself open for criticism after he falls short for the next 3-4 years.
  21. The answer probably lies in the development of Troupe and Carrington. We know Spiller is good and at least worth a 1st rounder. If the other 2 play decently by the end of the season, maybe there's reason for optimism.
  22. I think Schobel was due to make more than that. I think he just got sick of losing and had enough zeros in the bank. Kelsay....his extension is THEE symbol of front office incompetency over the last 10 years. They spent a high pick on him. He sucked. They extended him once. He sucked. Change positions. He sucks. Extend him. Nobody can explain the Kelsay Experience in football terms. His production has always been a fraction of his performance.
  23. I'd like to think the Bflo fans are different. But with guys talking about wearing paper bags over their head, I'm not sure. I think the landscape of Bills Nation has changed as not everyone has memories of the early 90s and even the early 80s. If the last 10 years is all you had, I guess the negativity is understandable.
