  1. ...with a _efense that gives up 200 yards per game and allows the opposition 35 minutes T.O.P. .If the QB is Peyton Manning-ish, you take him no matter what because next year's top QB might be Vince Young-ish. But out side of that, taking a QB will get the current regime fired speedy quick.
  2. Buluga looked as lost as Spiller this year. Why the love for him when Saffold looked even better?
  3. Taking Luck will get Gailey and Nix fired. I strongly believe the Bills will not take a QB in the 1st 3 rounds. Gailey loves Fitz and the Bills have the worst defense in the league and a bad O-line. Get used to the idea that the Bills will take the best defensive player available at 3 and then again in either the 2nd or 3rd rounds. They are also in deperate need of an OT.
  4. Let's see. The team that was 32nd in the league against the run and routinely gave up 200 yards in a game and we can't figure out who to get rid of??? I can't figure out who to keep. Stroud, Johnson, Edwards, Ayodele, Davis, Ellison, and Kelsay should ALL be gone. OVERHAUL!!!
  5. So predictable it's funny. Tom Brady has 7 seconds to throw and it's Whitner's fault. Geniuses.
  6. The "Good Will Hunting" response was genius!. Well played. You can't come on this board and throw your brain around. If your were really smart, you'd be doing something else! DO YOU LIKE APPLES?!
  7. I was in the half that missed it. My Dad was all pissed and said "let's go". So we're walking down Abbott to someone's front lawn where the car is parked and the Stadium erupted. I'll never forget it. And I will never leave with the Bills trailing by 8 points or less. Good memory.
  8. I think Gailey said it well when asked about the line's performance...."pass-protection, good - running game, awful". I must say, Gailey communicates a hell of a lot better than the previous 4 coaches. He doesn't dance at all.
  9. Is this the place for football discussion? Sorry, I might have my links mixed up. The OP's comment about Chris Brown is a bit over sensitive, I'd say. Suffice it to say that Fitz never leads with Harvard and only talks about it because reporters do. If Fitz had his way, we would have went to Arizona State or Stanford. He's a football player who received a free education for playing football. And although he's smart, I think he'd identify himself as more of an athlete than a scholar. Do they have a basket weaving course at Harvard?
  10. I disagree. I think the next 3 games are almost irrelevant. Fitz will do his thing. He'll throw 3-5 TDs and win one out of the 3 games. The reason the Bills lose has little to do with Fitz. I think Gailey is satisfied with Fitz enough to call him the starter for the next 3 years and keep drafting the Levi Browns of the world until they see a spark. Until the Bills fix that defense, I don't care if they have Brady at QB....they lose. I expect OL, DL and a pass rusher. Maybe 2 of each.
  11. He doesn't have to do anything. He's the man. They'll draft a prospect, but no way the Bills bring in a vet to compete. Fitz is the guy for 2011. I don't even think it's a question.
  12. +1. I still haven't figured out why it exists.
  13. I really didn't think it would get old...but there it is. Unless we draft a Johnson or lure Woody from the Jets, I think it's all been said, twice.
  14. It all makes me care a little less about sports. The cold reality is: Only the top 5-7 markets have a chance to win championships in their respective sports on a regular basis...and maybe even at all any more. When you see the Phillies have Lee, Halliday, Oswalt and Hamels, how do you think you think your Brewers stack up? It's becomming an uncompetitive joke. Look at the Red Sox and Yamkees and compare to the Royals. Joke.
  15. They're a little thin at LB too....
  16. Very well put. Next year we will be pointing at the few games that cost us a playoff birth and narrowing our wrath to 1 or 2 positions.
  17. With the names on that team, of course they play hard.
  18. It sucks that Sully is probably right....
  19. +1...I was ready to jump through the screen on the first drive. But who did you think was going to get that assignment? There was relatively nobody watching the game.
  20. +1. Amazing that these people never get tired of Lee Evans posts.
  21. Did the Bills have a starting QB from Harvard back then? I didn't realize. Read this and think about it: The Bills gave up about 1,000 yards on the ground over the past 4 games. If the QB never sees the field, why draft a shiny new one?
  22. I'm not saying I don't want Cam Newton. But the Bills gave up about 1,000 on the ground in their last 4 games and they have 27 y/o reasonable productive QB. I'm not saying they need that high pick for an impact defensive player. And I'm also not saying that I'm cancelling my season tickets if they take a QB in the 1st round. I'd never say any of that.
  23. I have multiple season tix with a friend and we both live in Long Island. Have family in WNY and catch 3 games. The rest go easy on ebay. This year we'll lose a little money because the Jim Kelly Club seats never sell, but the lower bowl seats are a home run.
