    I don't need the NFL. All I can do is cancel the 6 season tix I have and not renew the Sunday ticket. That's what they forced me to do and that's my bargaining position.

    If they really wanted Cam Newton, they woulda had dinner with is father last night..... I know football like you guys do and I have no idea what to think of this guy. On the one hand, he looked like Rottenbiker and won everywhere he went. On ther other, he went everywhere...I am truly stumped.

    I thought the 3rd stringer runs the scout team? No doubt Young would come in expecting to claim the #1 job, but don't you want all your QBs to think that? I'm not trying to defend Young. He obviously has talent. My only unresolved question is: What if Jeff Fisher is the ahole?

    If there was no JaMarcus Russell and this guy was white, he'd be the concensus #1 overall pick. He went undefeated in the toughest conference in college football. Won 2 nat'l championships in college. I'm not saying he's going to be great, but he's certainly going early in the 1st round.

    I think the question is: Do we currently have a backup who can win in the NFL? The answer is clearly no. Young has won and can win in the NFL. So bringing him in is a no-brainer. Forget all the drama. If he's an ahole, don't sign him. If he stinks in camp, cut him. But he has shown talent in the NFL with 3 or 4 OCs and I think Gailey would do wonders with Young's skill set.

    Ahhh...the first in a series of "Get er duns". I think we had "get er duns" on Matt Moore, Flozell Adams and Adalius Thomas last year. I'm starting to think "get er dun" is a sign that a guy's career is over.

    Plenty of great guys can't play football and Stroud is one of them. Give me more surly pro-bowl aholes on that defense who are willing to kick the Terry Bradshaws of the league in the head. Stroud has been playing on roller skates for 2 years now and he will be employed in the future on name alone. He's just done.

    Why? I don't understand what makes Bowers okay at 3 and Jordan a reach. Jordan dominated in college and in the Senior Bowl. I'm not saying he's the guy, but I just don't buy that 3 is too high for anyone just because Walter Mayockiper has him at #16.

    Oh...and do you you really think they'll take Phil Taylor after investing a high 2nd rounder in Troupe? I say no way. And I think the need for a DE, LB and a TE is much greater than NT.

    From a PR standpoint, Whitner is the worst twitterer ever. Why he would even acknowledge Moran's existense is beyond me.

    Didn't Wanny run a hybrid 3-4 in Dallas with Charles Haley in the Shawne Merriman role (rush the passer most plays)? What'd they call that...the "elephant" D?

    Disagree. Neither end could hold the edge. Stroud will not be with the Bills the next time they play. Maybe part of the LBs problem was knowing where the gap was going to be. Maybe they just sucked. Prob both. The Bills have a desperate need for a run stuffing football player. I don't care where he lines up.

    Conversations like this are happening in Carolina, Denver and every other crappy franchise in the league. Not sure where the hindsight or the wallowing in past failures gets anyone. If we draft Dareus and Quinn turns out to be great, there will be posts about about how we shoulda drafted Quinn.
