  1. This is absolutely true. Anyone who has ever dealt with victims of severe abuse know full well the wide range of medical problems they experience as a result a chronic arousal of the autonomic nervous system.
  2. First, I was commenting on the number of deaths that occur in this country every day. Second, if your issue is that COVID-19 deaths are different because they can be caused by other people, then how about 175,000 - 200,000 per year that die from influenza, pneumonia, and respiratory infections? You think those illnesses might result from viruses they pick up from other people? How about the 13,000-15,000 that die every year from murder (directly at the hands of another)? How about the thousands that die every year from car accidents that are because the driver in their car or another vehicle was drunk, texting, or not paying attention in some way? No need to go on. Go back to your end of world prophecies....
  3. Don't forget about his claims of the NYC medical system being so overrun that people would be dying in the halways...
  4. On average, between 7,000 and 8,000 people die every day in this country. Do the math....
  5. Really? Somehow, I thought you might have a clue from the nationally televised conferences they hold everyday to tell you exactly what is being done...
  6. Ummm...you do know that Gavin Newsom is the governor of California?
  7. Like I said, I will accept that as an argument, from someone like you, as to why there has been an increase. My point is that your refusal to concede that there has been an increase at all, which is such an obvious point, is why you have absolutely no credibility...
  8. Visit any Antifa site, hell, google any article that is pro Antifa, and they will tell you there has been an increase in support and activities since 2016. Here is a quote from just one article that supports Antifa: "Despite a presence in the U.S. for decades, and for much longer in Europe, the collective movement known as Antifa — shorthand for antifascist or antifascism — didn’t make it onto many Americans’ radars until 2017. This is in part because the antifascist movement has grown in recent years, coinciding with the rise of Trump and the spread of far-right populism" https://arcdigital.media/in-defense-of-antifa-62c699d86dc5 Like I said, I could appreciate an argument as to why there is an increase; however, an argument against an increase is just disingenuous.
  9. Actually, from your perspective, you could make a number of arguments supporting the rise of their activity. I wouldn't agree with your arguments; however, I would at least respect that you argued them from your perspective. But, to argue there hasn't been a considerable rise in both Antifa support and activities since 2016 is ridiculous.
  10. Why, thank you! Unfortunately, your talents lie in the same category as TH3... Sad
  11. I say this with the kindest intentions: If you can't construct a coherent argument, then you should probably refrain from posting anything at all. You just are not very good at memes and insults. Honestly, it's uncomfortable to see you try so hard and fail so epically....
  12. C'mon, you can do better than that...
  13. Please regale us all with more of you intellectually stunning, specious, arguments.... We can hardly wait. No, really.....
  14. Well that certainly explains your posting.....
  15. I am actually more concerned with what the government does, rather than what Trump says.
  16. Or you could, for once, actually engage in an intellectually honest debate. For example, is there one thing on that list that isn't true? How do you reconcile a stance that Trump didn't take this seriously and did nothing, with actions that seem to indicate otherwise. How do you put forth opinions that suggest you somehow believe that whaever Trump does, is somehow done in a complete vacuum? You could actually try to provide something insightful, intellegent, and useful. Or you could just go on being you....
  17. So, that's really an important question for you to ask right now - about something that he said back on February 26th? Why is that so important to you? Is it because it indicates he wasn't taking the virus seriously? Wouldn't it be more important to know what the administration was actually doing to help? Or, if, for some reason, you are fixated on that point in February, wouldn't it be more important to ask what the administration had done to that point? Wouldn't you be interested to know, at the time he made that statement, the administration had done the following (not all inclusive): Formed the Coronavirus Task Force Declared the coronavirus a public health emergency. Announced Chinese travel restrictions. Suspended entry into the United States for foreign nationals who pose a risk of transmitting the coronavirus. Expanded enhanced entry screening to eight major airports across the nation. Briefed Congress on the Federal Government's coronavirus response efforts. Began shipping CDC-Developed test kits to U.S. and international labs. Coordinating with the WHO and China regarding the virus, including making attempts (that were denied) to go to China Briefed all governors about the virus at the National Governors’ Association Meeting Expanded a partnership with Janssen Research & Development to “expedite the development” of a coronavirus vaccine. Began working with private labs to conduct “community-based influenza surveillance” to study and detect the spread of coronavirus. Requested $2.5 billion from Congress to help combat the spread of the coronavirus. Since Congress and the nations's governors had all been briefed by that time, would it be important to you to know what other government leaders at the federal and state levels were saying and doing as well? For example, would it be important to you to ask Nancy Pelosi why, at the very same time, she was walking around Chinatown telling everyone in San Fransisco not to be worried, it was perfectly safe for them all to get out and enjoy themselves? Since the most important question for you is one that, in a vacuum, gives the impression Trump didn't take it seriously, It feels like you are ignoring your own advice of beginning your debate from neutral ground...no?
  18. Your posts are the very essence of the absence of thought
  19. No, it's not a compliment.
  20. He's always in the running for the dumbest post of the week
  21. No, it's what happens when somebody gets critically ill.
  22. I'm sure there are millions of bodies out there....
  23. Welcome to America 2020. When faced with adversity, retreat to your safe space and cry yourself to sleep - but not before you make sure everyone knows how you feel, why you feel that way, and who is to blame for how you feel....
