The Next Pandemic: SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19
billsfan1959 replied to Hedge's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
My post stated Mueller found no evidence of collusion with Russia. Period. I see you couldn't refute that. So, I have no idea what you are rambling on about - and I'm sure you have even less of an idea. I'm always fascinated when I read / hear a stream of consiousness from someone with such obvious limited consious awareness. -

My guess is he's been wrong on everything for most of his life, and we have just witnessed the tip of the iceberg regarding his lunacy... -

You must have missed Mueller's testimony before congress. Not only did he not find any evidence of collusion, he could barely remember the investigation, and sounded loonier than most of your posts. I understand why you feel such a connection with him: kindred spirits. -

My memory is a little hazy; however, I seem to recall that Mueller found no evidence of collusion. So, let me get this straight: You are saying he got away with a crime of which there was no evidence he ever comitted? That seems a little crazy, even for you... -

Yeah, how did that whole Russian collusion investigation go again? What was the evidence that Mueller found? I forget.... -

He never answers a point he is incorrect on. He responds to a completely different point, replies "hoax," or tells you that he has placed you on some strange list he keeps in his head... -

Yeah, that was what caused Hillary to lose... Or was it the Russian collusion? BTW, the FBI didn't investigate Hillary, they did a pro forma stamping for Loretta Lynch. -

No, Kemp's point, clearly stated in his post is "if you think Trump has done a good job with the virus, you are either stupid or evil." And for someone who constantly claims you don't like to name call or denigrate, you seem to be in full support -

Shhhhhh.... Don't you know that it is heretical to mention the common flu in the same sentence as Covid-19, or to question the Covid-19 death classifications / numbers in any way? -

You have no way of knowing what the fatality rate is without knowing the number of total cases. A better measurement is deaths per 1 million of population. Here are the other countries hit hard by the virus. Wouldn't you consider keeping a low number of deaths, either per cases (or confirmed cases as you like) or per million of the population as the ultimate success? I remember you (and a few others) touting Germany as a great example of handling the virus. It seems we are closer to Germany than the other countries Country Population Cases Deaths Deaths per million Cases per million Death Rate of confirmed cases Italy 60000000 203591 27682 461.37 3393.18 13.60% Spain 46000000 236899 24275 527.72 5149.98 10.25% France 65000000 166628 24121 371.09 2563.51 14.48% Belgium 11000000 48519 7594 690.36 4410.82 15.65% Germany 83000000 161539 6467 77.92 1946.25 4.00% UK 67000000 166441 26166 390.54 2484.19 15.72% Total 332000000 983617 116305 350.32 2962.70 11.82% United States 331000000 1040488 60999 184.29 3143.47 5.86% -

Healthy Skepticism for This Year's Draft Class...
billsfan1959 replied to glazeduck's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the one thing I am most skeptical about this draft is that Bills fans will be able to learn to consistently spell Epenesa's name right. I have already spelled it Espensa, Espenesa, and Epenessa. WTF? Maybe I'll just stick with A.J. -

Draft Day Winners Going Into Day 3
billsfan1959 replied to ghostwriter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess you could look at two ways. One, you could just look at the draft itself in terms of grading players picked. In that case I would still have the Bills in the top ten as they got two players who were great value and filled 2 of the top 3 needs of the team (WR, DE, and RB) going into the off season. Or, two, you could look at what they did with each of the draft picks they had going into the off season. I do not think you can give an overall draft grade without factoring in what the teams did with each of their actual picks, because they did end up selecting a player with that pick, albeit through trade for an established NFL player rather than a draft prospect. So, for me, I think an overall grade should be about what each team did with their draft picks, going into the off season, to make the team better. You are right, Houston should be given credit for Tunsil.
