  1. And he was responding to comments of the social policies many would like to see implemented during this epidemic. What's the difference? Other than his comments were much more intelligent and made more sense than yours. Of course, that is low bar to hurdle....
  2. I think you mean "peek into whatever bathroom you'd like."
  3. Since I have been working on a number projects around the house, I have been making regular trips to Lowe's and Home Depot down here in NC. They have been packed during this entire lockdown - with, literally, thousands going through the stores every day. You would never know a lockdown was in place.
  4. I believe his social policy is more akin to late 1930's Germany. Self-appointed intellectual and moral superiority, accompanied by irrational hatred of those who don't fit his vision of a perfect society...
  5. Already got your Allen hate in mid season form, I see. While we all know you would love to see Fromm, or anyone for that matter, at QB for the Bills rather than Allen, it isn't going to happen. Wasn't it you who was telling us all before the Jets game last year how Barkley was going to show us all what a real QB looked like? Now you are on to Fromm....
  6. Here's your solution. When you venture out from your basement to walk around your neighborhood, you won't have to worry about other people wearing masks. And so apropos for you....
  7. I have read plenty of articles and I have listened to experts. If you want to believe that the absence of a decrease in all other deaths because of a lockdown means Covid deaths are being underreported, be my guest. The overwhelming majority of information does not support that conclusion.
  8. You don't think there is an increase in stress on millions of Americans who are on lockdown, being told everyday that they could die from this virus, or who lost their jobs and are in trouble, financially? I'm sorry, this idea that Covid deaths are being under reported isn't supported by the numbers or by official statements of how they are being counted.
  9. How in the world does a lockdown end deaths from cancer, heart attacks, strokes, suicides, vascular dementia, diabetes, etc.? The reason any of those would be down is if they are being counted as Covid deaths
  10. First, Belichick is a d**k and not above cheating to win; however, he would never tank for any reason. Second, I don't think Stidham is the the long-term answer for the Patriots, but, I do think Belichick believes he can win with any QB and is looking to prove he was primarily responsible for the Patriots**** success, not Brady.
  11. Looking back over my 50+ years of being a Bills fan, I would choose 1990. The season itself was not frustrating; however, the end result was, in hindsight, the most frustrating of any season. That was the one year that, IMHO, the Bills were clearly the best team in football, had the best opportunity to win the Super Bowl, and should have won it. 1999 was my second choice. That team clearly had the talent to win the Super Bowl that year, and I believe they could have if they would have had consistently decent play at QB. I couldn't stand Flutie or Johnson.
  12. You really should try implementing some sort of evaluative process in between the time a thought comes into your head and the time your little fingers start typing away on the keyboard to put that thought into a post....
  13. Honestly, can the flu be mentioned without other posters automatically going to "you can't compare it to the coronavirus?" My post wasn't comparing it to the coronavirus, it was in response to someone dismissing the flu as pretty much insignificant. It isn't the same as COVID-19, but it is not insignificant in terms of deaths. Also, the article you cited was a little skewed. Deaths are deaths. They actually happen. And if they counted flu deaths the way they count Covid-19 deaths, I'm not sure it would be less. When someone gets the flu, is hospitalized, and the complications lead to a stroke or heart attack, the death is listed as a stroke or heart attack - even if the flu was a contributing factor. The same situation with Covid-19 and the death is listed as a Covid-19 death. That is the way they are being counted.
  14. Right, as long as Trump is the ultimate target, then the rules set in place to protect against government abuses don't really need to be followed.....
  15. However, those location services and other data from your phone are not shared with the government, except through legal process (i.e., subpoena, court order, search warrant) based on an ongoing criminal or national security matter.
  16. Right, as we continue to test, the number of cases are going to rise. Hospitalizations and, primarily, deaths are more relevant numbers.

  18. I have a feeling this might be a long wait....
  19. You do realize the flu season doesn't last 12 months, right? During the 2017-2018 flu season, the CDC estimated there were between 60,000 - 80,000 flu related deaths and most of those occurred during a 16 week stretch where deaths were at or above the epidemic threshold - which means over 7% of all deaths during those weeks (between 3,000-4,000 per week) were flu related. This virus may be worse; however, quit acting like the flu is nothing at all.
  20. This sums up just about every discussion he has ever engaged in on this forum....
  21. True, it can be. However, sometimes it can just be a form of mockery. In the end, we all know that, for you, it isn't really about "the truth," but rather "your truth," so, I will let you decide which it was Because I'm good like that...
  22. We? Do you have multiple personalities? Are you referring to you and your alt identities? Inquiring minds want to know. I feel it only fair to warn you I am placing you on my list of people who make lists...
