  1. I think you have things a bit backward, Tibs. The Democrats need to hold onto the House and gain control of the Senate and the Presidency. As it stands now, your thread title is simply wrong. You might have hope for the future; however, right now? It is not happening.
  2. Unless Gary gets his a$$ handed to him in the thread....
  3. No, but the Senate can.....
  4. Don't you have more threads to delete, Gary? Is that one where you called out @SoCal Deek in the thread title (you know, the kind of thing that can get someone banned) still there?
  5. I don't even have to watch the espy's, I can get the same just going into the shoutbox
  6. My son went to law school there and I really enjoyed the city every time I visited him. He was with a law firm up there until January of this year and is now with a firm down in Houston. I am so glad he left when he did. So is he. As an aside, he knew the Mayor and, well, let’s just say he wasn’t a fan
  7. I think the people of Minneapolis should get exactly what they vote for. They deserve it.
  8. Honestly, listening to the voices from this crowd of mostly white, entitled little brats sounds like one giant tantrum...
  9. The overall statistics are pretty clear on this if people wish to look at them honestly. The primary reason why violent crime rates and black on black crime within black communities are dismissed as "irrelevant" or, worse, as being "racist," when discussing police killings and allegations of systemic racism, is because honest analyses destroys the national narrative. These issues are important because they are primary factors that drive the disproportionate amount of police responses to / interactions with black communities, and the nature of those responses / interactions. I don't know what is worse, the violent criminals who are literally terrorizing black communities, or the black leaders and politicians who allow it to continue by turning a blind eye or engaging in willful ignorance for personal or political gain.
  10. I'm sure he does. Too bad it doesn't include helping black communities, as nobody he has supported has done so.
  11. You really had no credibility before this statement. It just verifies that, in addition, you have absolutely no critical thinking skills. You can like Joe Biden. You can vote for Joe Biden. But to say something like this while having any kind of working knowledge of his career is pure ideological idiocy.
  12. Ooops....
  13. Qbaby
  14. That wasn't the point. Whenever you get backed into a corner of no longer being able to actually defend your position, you just change topics or resort to personal insults...
  15. Yep, black communites are doing great: highest poverty rates, highest unemployment rates, lowest ownership rates, highest violent crime rates, etc., etc. They should all be on their knees thanking the Democratic party....
  16. “Despite a voluminous and often fervent literature on "income distribution," the cold fact is that most income is not distributed: It is earned.” - Thomas Sowell
  17. Staying with the Democratic Party has done wonders for the black communities in this country....
  18. I guess that is why I haven't seen him posting for about a week or so. However, he was allowed to go on and on and on for weeks before any action was taken, in spite of direct complaints to the mods.
  19. That goes on here every day on both sides. Mostly from a small number of people. The vast majority actually will engage in discussion. It might get heated, but, that is the nature of politics. I am not a fan of calling specific people out in threads; however, I watched thread after thread being started in which people were being called out, by name (maybe not in the thread title - but in the first post) for being racist or some other vile assertion. I watched post after post of that s**t being posted. People openly stated they reported it to the mods - and nothing happened. Honestly, what I saw of DR's thread last night was mild to what I have seen here over the last month or so. Interesting that his thread is where they drew their line in the sand.
  20. How do you know it was a noose in the avatar and not a garge door pull?
  21. That was the hilarity...these are the people we put our hopes in
