Actually, I think it is more like a small percentage here confuse fan mentality with team mentality - that, somehow, what fans think is what the team thinks. We are fans, we are excited about our team, and we all express it in different ways.

There are similar moments in almost every game and probably every close game. There were plenty of "what ifs" for both teams and It is impossible to know how any one of them would have affected the ultimate outcome of the game had they gone differently.
