  1. Hope whatever else came up isn't serious. Look forward to seeing you back at the next game.
  2. The consistent level at which you manage to misinterpret things you see and hear regarding this team is astounding
  3. I have never posted anything about the running game, much less something like they need to run the ball like it's 1970. Their strength is their passing game. You would think, simply from a statistical perspective, once in a while you would post something that could be considered close to being accurate and insightful - even by pure accident.
  4. But his posts at least feel like they come from a rational adult....
  5. A good post and something many of us have experienced at some point. It really is about finding a balance. Everyone experiences their "fandom" differently. I am competitive and passionate by nature, and I learned long ago that my passion for my sports teams really had an impact on my life in general, in terms of game days and losses - in ways I didn't really like. I don't think you can ever stop being a fan or having an emotional investment in the teams you root for (at least for "diehard" fans); however, you can modify the way in which you choose to follow or "experience" your team(s) to achieve a better emotional balance. I was one of those fans that had to find a better balance and I have. I find I deal with gamedays and losses better. I started my Bills fandom sharing it with my father (who passed away in 2016) and now primarily share it with my son who is married with a life of his own. My "adjustments" in how I follow the Bills have made sharing it with my son even more enjoyable. I will say that I broke one of my rules and visited this site the day after a loss. I rarely do. Anyway, I hope you can find that balance, my friend.
  6. I didn't call the post rational. My point was the opposite...
  7. If you had the slightest insight into your own posting, you wouldn't need for anyone else to point out examples. Honestly, I don't think any amount of rational discussion would change your mind. Peace out, brother
  8. I would take you a little more seriously if you weren't so wrong so often. But hey, you be you...
  9. Shhhh.... rational, logical thinking isn't going to come back to the board until Thursday or Fiday. Until then, we just have to endure nonsical thread after nonsensical thread. Mostly by the same handful of polsters....
  10. Look believe what you want. If you feel the need to cling to superficial analyses with no basis in what this coaching staff and team demonstrate, behaviorally and philosophically, on a day to day basis - then have at it.
  11. There are some legitimate issues with this team (as with ALL teams), and they had a bad game for a number of reasons. Arrogance and taking the Jags for granted were not among them. Quit trying to turn it into something it isn't.
  12. Yes, they have had periods where the deficiencies on the offensive line have really cost them. They also have done a pretty good job of working around those deficiencies far more often than not. I do think the last couple of weeks have been worse because of the line shuffling with Brown out (which I don't believe it is any coincidence that the team's strongest offensive performances have been with him starting). They certainly are not going to fix the line problems, in terms of personnel, in season. And anyone that believed they were going to get a lineman in a trade last week that would instantly make this line better was delusional. It wasn't going to happen. However, if Brown comes back healthy and they can manage to get some consistency in who is playing at which position, then I think they are certainly capable of playing decently enough. There also has to be some modifications in how the offense is going to counter defensive strategies they have been seeing to take Diggs and what Allen likes to do away from them. KC is going through the same struggles right now. I think that Knox is a big part of that and they have missed him as well the last two weeks. Yesterday was troublesome, for sure. However, it shouldn't be the sole lens through which the team is viewed.
  13. No, they didn't take the team for granted and McDermott wasn't arrogant in some belief that the Jags couldn't beat them. Have you paid any attention to this coaching staff and team? They played an awful game on offense with plenty of blame to go around - from the coaching staff to the players. But it wasn't from arrogance.
  14. This just in: Most teams in the NFL are not easy wins. Maybe the Bills should just forfeit the rest of the season...
  15. Actually, I think it does bring you happiness to say, "I told you so." That is why you started a thread to say it. And that is why you are getting some of the responses you are getting.
  16. I think what happened yesterday is that the team, offensively, played awful. From top to bottom it was the worst game I have seen them play in a while. The end result is that they lost. I think they are well aware of the issues they have and will do their best to correct them. I do not think it was any sort of defining moment as to what this team is or what they are capable of.
  17. Not really sure how this relates to my post. Sounds like a fan issue, not a team issue.
  18. It isn't. Honestly, I never really understand people like you. It is as if the Bills haven't played any other games this year other than the one yesterday. All analyses of the team revolve around one game. They scored an average of 35 pts per game the previous six games. They scored 6 yesterday and, because of that one game, your view is that you don't see them scoring much at all for the rest of the year? I understand being frustrated, but to believe that - and to suggest the Bills, as the team is "currently constituted" do not have any winnable games left on their schedule is beyond ridiculous.
  19. No, it's not.
  20. This is the kind of post that really makes this board almost insufferable after a loss...
  21. Not a fan of that myself. But I would rather sort through those threads than the ones that overwhelm this board after a loss. It is the only time I don't enjoy coming to this board to read and discuss the Bills. It seems any constructive evaluation of the game and the team just gets drowned out...
  22. Nobody knows that more than they do, and I’m sure they will. They are still a team with the talent and ability to win the SB. Every team has flaws and every team stumbles.
  23. They are still a team capable of winning the Super Bowl this year
  24. LOL. I know you are, my friend. It's not as bad as it feels.
