  1. Doesn’t really bother me. Pretty harmless and didn’t affect the game. It would have been assessed on the kickoff and Buffalo scored anyway
  2. Easier said than done. How many times have people said the same thing about Allen? They are both exceptionally elusive.
  3. Oh for heaven's sake...
  4. I get the frustration over the loss and I'm not criticizing, as everyone handles disappointment, frustration, etc. differently. I just don't understand hanging on to negative emotion. It isn't healthy and it won't change anything. I have watched the game twice since last Sunday and intentionally focused on everything positive in that game. There were a lot of good things. Those are the things I would rather talk about. I would rather focus on what we might do in free agency and the draft, and start looking forward to next year. I feel the future of this team looks pretty good and I am actually feeling very positive right now. Cheers
  5. I rarely watch a playoff game once the BIlls have been eliminated and I won't this year either. It isn't because I am hanging on to any emotions from Sunday's game. I simply don't care and I would rather do something more productive with my time. For me, this year is over and I am already looking forward to free agency, the draft, and next season. Go Bills!
  6. No, it is all you want to dwell on. It is not all that should be talked about.
  7. I certainly can see the difference in the manner in which each was accomplished. BTW, in the Pats game it actually took KC less than 16 seconds to move 48 yards in 2 plays because they wasted 2-3 seconds after the 1st play to call a time out. Regardless, my original response was to someone saying giving up 40-50 yards in 13 seconds should never happen, when a similar situation happened just 3 years ago. My subsequent point was that it doesn't matter how the Chiefs got a field goal. It could have happened the same way they did it against the Pats, or any other way, and the posters having irrational meltdowns would have reacted in exactly the same way.
  8. Same here, brother. I am fine and looking forward to a bright future with this team. No, they did not.
  9. Well, I think we covered that. As you said, we can agree to disagree. Cheers
  10. I'm not sure most people on here see it the same as you. I think there is a small minority of people who are flooding this forum with posts demanding this and demanding that, while most of us have handled our disappointment a bit more rationally, accepted that mistakes were made by coaches and players, and fully expect they will learn from it and continue to grow and get better.
  11. I've been smiling since we drafted him...
  12. As I said, my suspicion is you would be reacting exactly the same way no matter how KC would have gotten into FG range....
  13. Yeah, he loves Harry and my impression is he would like to have him back. It is going to be a numbers game... Edit: The links in the thread all seemed to cut off early. Here is the full interview (Talks about Harry at 55:33):
  14. You can name all the differences you want. Here is the only thing that matters: NE gave up almost 50 yards in 2 plays at the end of the AFCCG they were leading by a field goal. And the truth is the end of the game Sunday could have transpired exactly the same was as it did in the NE/KC game and you would be on here today whining and demanding...
  15. It appeared to me that Beane didn't feel the D line played to the level he had anticipated. I wouldn't say I got the impression that he was disappointed, just that he expected more. He is big on always addressing the lines on both sides of the ball and I expect an offseason focus on both. There wasn't one question on Epenesa and he never mentioned him. I did get the impression he is still high on Oliver and Edmunds.
  16. 2018 AFCG, 48 yards in 2 plays (16 seconds) to tie the game and send it to overtime....
  17. Nothing like a good angry mob...
  18. No. it's not. If you think the players don't trust the process or McDermott after what happened, then I really don't know what to tell you. Yes, in high school: football, baseball, and wrestling (state qualifer 4 straight years). Irrelevant. As I said in a previous post, If you think the players don't trust the process or McDermott after what happened, then I really don't know what to tell you. That's a "you" thing and has no foothold in reality.
  19. Have you spent any time at all watching and listening to players and the coaching staff of this team over the last couple of years? Serious question. If you have, then you have absolutely no ability whatsoever to evaluate the people on this team and their relationships.
  20. You admit to something like this happening even to the best coaches and then you go on to say, essentially, the main thing is to be right more often than being wrong. But then, the remainder, and the entirety, of your argument is about a one time incident - there is nothing about whether McDermott or Frazier are right more than they are wrong. Look, I get it. The bad calls by coaches and bad execution on the field (and yes there were both in the last few minutes of that game) came at the worst possible time. But I think it is exactly that timing, more than anything else that is driving the emotional responses. Some might argue that a one time incident in a situation like this should carry more weight than if it had happened in a less important game - that you should expect the best to rise to the challenge in the most critical moments. I won't dismiss it as a valid argumant, or a valid expectation to have. But, I think it is an equally valid argument to say that because somebody failed in a critical moment, for whatever reason, that he or she incapable of excelling in the next critical moment. I have no problem in people being held accountable. I do have a problem with that accountability being viewed and handled through the lens of emotions. I just feel we seem to be in a time of unrestrained emotion, lack of tolerance for mistakes or anything that makes us feel any sort of negative emotion, and the need to make people pay dearly for those mistakes or whatever they did to make us feel bad. IMO, this front office and coaching staff have gotten it right more often than not. They have also shown me that they are willing to be accountable and wiling to learn. They have done more to earn my trust, at this moment, that they will continue to get better, than not.
  21. You are welcome to your opinion and you certainly have the right to express it. You also have the right to be angry. My point was that you don't seem very open. You seem angry, and, like I said, that is fine, but anger doesn't lend itself to openess or well thought out decisions.
  22. And each of them have been outfoxed to lose games like this
  23. So, you want Bean to give you an explanation of how to evaluate what happened and what has to change so it doesn'r happen again; however you admit to already having done the evaluation in your mind and arrived at the solution is the DC has to be fired? Give this, do you really feel you are open to anything Beane has to change? Or are you just still angry and needing somebody to pay for making you feel that way?
  24. Loved the article and so happy to have him as our QB. As an aside, I just laugh every time I watch what Davis did to that corner…🤣🤣
