  1. Love the signing. Now a decent TE and one or two second tier linemen (Boling or Blalock)
  2. Thanks. I did miss that poll. Unfortunately, my work ties me up for periods where I do not get to check this site much. I just looked at it and agree with Kirby that it is the most accurate poll I've seen on this board with regard to perceptions about EJ.
  3. Respect his decision and wish him luck. It seems he understands what is most important to him at this point in his life...pretty impressive for a 26 year old.
  4. Ahh. If that is the case, my apologies. I must have missed it. I remembered the one where the Poll question was "Do you think EJ will be a franchise QB?" and the possible answers were "yes" or "no."
  5. Unless I am mistaken, there were a number of posters who complained that people couldn't answer a "simple yes or no question." People were being called out out to take a stance as "yes he will" or "no he won't." That all sounds pretty much like a yes or no poll to me.
  6. IMHO, asking yes or no to "Will he become a franchise QB?" offers nothing insightful as to what most people probably feel about how successful EJ Manuel could be as an NFL QB.
  7. Neither poll provided an adequate representation of what most people actually feel about EJ Manuel
  8. Blalock would be a good veteran pick up. Only 31, missed only 3 games in his career, and suited for a power running game....
  9. Didn't Barclay tear his ACL last year?
  10. My bad. Meant to write 60 million dollars of his contract was guaranteed. My question is: How does that guaranteed money work against the cap, and does it have any real affect on any offer to Clay by the Bills?
  11. I just read that Suh's 60 million dollar contract with Miami is fully guaranteed. I wonder how the cap disbursement of that contract will affect how they react to an offer for Clay from the Bills - if at all?
  12. Locker is a FA. If the Bills FO thinks he is a better option than Manuel, they'll just sign him. Although, to somewhat address your point, I think Foles is the best QB of that group
  13. I do think if Chip is going after Mariotta, Foles will be traded to some team in the process.
  14. The best laid plans (schemes) of mice and men... NFL player movement around the time of free agency and the draft is always dynamic and can change instantly, dependent upon any one or more of a number of factors. Anyone that has access to insider info and decides to share it on this board should always feel welcome to do so. If it comes to fruition, fine. If not, that is fine as well. If the credibility of any given poster, in regard to inside info, becomes suspect, then ignore it, take it with a grain of salt, etc... IMHO, what shouldn't happen are attacks from other posters. Debate is always good; hostile, condescending, confrontational posts are not. I think most posters here know the line not to cross.
  15. ...and his durability. I thought he was going to be a star as well. However, after seven years with 3 teams (at the total cost of 5 draft picks and over 30 million in guaranteed salary) it has yet to materialize.
  16. And second only to Honus Wagner (who played in the late 1800s - early 1900s) in Wins Above Replacement among all shortstops who ever played professional baseball...
  17. I think so - or maybe address it in Free Agency. I also believe they are intrigued with what Kenny Ladler might do in Rex' defense.
  18. Because he had more rushes. Based on YPC, had Jackson, Spiller, and Dixon had an equal amount of carries, Freddie would have been the 3rd leading rusher on the team... Edit: Beat me to it Gugny
  19. Minnesota selected him with a 1st round pick and Seattle gave up a 1st, 3rd, and 7th... That's two 1st round picks, a 3rd, a 6th, and a 7th wasted on this guy since 2009...
  20. Except for that whole double murder thing.....
  21. I love Fred Jackson; however, he is no Derek Jeter.
