  1. Absolutely. I believe they have identified the QB they want and they have the draft capital to get him. However, I just don't see this FO giving up more than what they feel is reasonable - and "reasonable" is a relative term at this point. This will be fun. Ultimately, I do think they will select a QB at the top of the draft. I just have to trust they pick the right one.
  2. How is that relevant in any way to the current FO? No, I don't.
  3. Oh, I don't know... starting a thread to call a GM a complete failure if he doesn't do what YOU what him to do? It could qualify.....
  4. I cannot really make any more clear for you, but I will try. IF it affects his draft status and/or, I will now add, IF it affects his ability to interact with his teammates, THEN it will be an issue FOR ME. UNTIL THEN it is NOT.
  5. Not all fans throw childish temper tantrums based on a potential scenario.
  6. Right, a two paragraph write-up on ESPN that you have to actually look for. Keep trying Bobby. When it affects his draft status it will be a story.
  7. There isn't a team in this draft that has more potential draft capital than the Bills. If any team moves ahead of them and takes any QB it is because (1) the FO did not feel that QB was their guy, (2) they didn't have a willing trade partner, or (3) the price was too unreasonable in their estimation. Aside from that, declaring the GM a failure, prior to the draft, based on the speculation that he doesn't choose the player YOU want makes you sound a bit petulant...
  8. If you want to pass judgment based on a few random texts/tweets, sent when he was 15/16 years old, and with absolutely no context to them - feel free. For me, it is a non-issue.
  9. I never said you did. You sure like to go off on tangents....
  10. I know you want it to be a story , as hurt as you seem to be over what Rosen had to deal with.. But until I see it on a major outlet or actually affect his draft status, it is a non-story. It very well may turn into one; however, it isn't until it is.
  11. Really? On the eve of the NFL draft and Yahoo scooped ESPN, the NFL Network, Fox Sports, etc., etc.? And those outlets still are unaware?
  12. Why have I not seen this on any of the major sports media outlets?
  13. Perhaps you didn't understand my post. I said it SHOULD be a non-story, not that it is a non-story
  14. Tweets from a 16-year-old kid with no context... Should be a non-story...
  15. You need to find a balance with your team where you can remain invested without letting things that feel negative affect you so much. As an avid fan of the Bills since 1968, I know it isn't an easy thing to do; however, it can be done. Good luck....
  16. Maybe he is referring to the escalating, conspiracy laced, ruminations that sound a little unstable... Or maybe not...
  17. Threads like this make me really hope Allen does well, regardless of who picks him....
  18. Maybe you should just take a break from all of this until tomorrow night. Feeling a little unhealthy....
  19. I believe the FO has identified the QB they want and that they will do whatever they can, within reason, to draft him. Rudolph is not my choice either; however, I love the flat out declarations on this board about which QBs will be good and which ones will not. He may very well turn out to be as good as any other QB in this draft - nobody knows. Even taking one of the "top 4" QBs, while increasing the odds of finding that franchise QB, is still a very real gamble. Since 1997, there have been 56 quarterbacks taken in the first round, less than 35% have won a playoff game and less than 35% have career winning records. In that same span, there were 33 QBs taken in the top 10. Excluding the four that have been in the league less than three years: 44% (13) have career winning records 44% (13) have won at least one playoff game 37% (11) have won more than one playoff game 20% (6) have won more than three playoff games 10% (3) have won more than 5 playoff games 17% (5) started at least one super bowl 6% (2) have won at least one super bowl People with much greater expertise than the posters on this board have been wrong more often than not. I'm with you Kirby, I don't care who they select, I just want him to be the right one. #fingerscrossed
  20. I'm all for picking a QB in round one. The odds of landing a franchise QB, while still low, are higher than the odds in subsequent rounds. My point was that nobody really knows which QBs are going to be great and which ones will not. Far too many people offering opinions as if they were facts.
  21. Educated guesses are made each year on QBs taken in the first round and are right less than 35% of the time in terms of being franchise QBs. Educated guesses, when it comes to predicting success at the NFL level are nothing more than slightly better odds on your gamble...
