  1. Very funny . I truly hope this kid develops into something special.
  2. I'm sure he did and mistakes happen.
  3. Personally, I don't think it is a big deal. However, in fairness to the OP, it does appear Vic was referencing last Sunday: "2. The defense has awakened from its six-quarter slumber. The secondary deserves major kudos for its ability to throw a figurative blanket over the Vikings’ dangerous receivers. The ultra-tight coverage throughout the game frustrated Kirk Cousins and caused him to hold the ball longer than he wanted. That allowed the Bills’ pass-rushers to apply considerable pressure that resulted in four sacks and an astounding 40 pressures, according to Pro Football Talk. Tre’Davious White is steadily establishing himself as one of the NFL’s better lock-down corners. Phillip Gaines more than held his own on the other side, and Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer are back to the form that made them one of the league’s better safety combinations in 2017. That collective effort on the back end had everything to do with end Jerry Hughes having one of his better games as a Bill."
  4. Reminded me of the SNL skit on the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings https://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/cold-opening/n10108
  5. I think, for most QBs, it is hard to separate their level of success from the talent of the team around them. The truly great ones seem to maintain a greater, and more consistent, level of success even with lesser talent.
  6. Ironically, Hostetler was in the right place at the right time because Simms was injured during the Bills/Giants game a month earlier...
  7. Comey has no credibility at this point. He violated numerous internal policies, stepped well beyond his jurisdictional role, may have actually violated the law, and allowed the top echelon of the FBI to use their positions and resources within the agency to pursue personal political agendas. The seeds of this latest dysfunction at the upper levels of FBI management were sown under the leadership of Mueller. The FBI has always been divided between the rank and file agents, who actually do the investigative work, and management, which typically has been filled with those more interested in positions of power. Under Mueller, a younger and more inexperienced, narcissistic, vindictive, and aggressive breed of management emerged, - and, a group that historically was a nuisance, but, but rarely publicly embarrassed us, turned into one that may have irreparably damaged the trust most people had in the agency to conduct investigations in a fair, impartial manner.
  8. At this point the democrats would oppose providing food to starving children in the Central African Republic if Trump was behind it...
  9. I truly try to remain objective during these types of situations and I have been following politics closely since the very first time I voted in the 1980 presidential election. This entire process has sickened me....
  10. Could be; however, I don't think so in this case. It feels more of a last ditch effort....
  11. You can rest assured the first thing the Democrats did, after receiving the letter from Ford, was talk to her. There should be no doubt in anyone's mind that If the Democrats felt, at that time, it was a credible allegation, they would have brought it forward immediately. They didn't.
  12. Waiting to hear if they are the things I have noticed...
  13. She is woman with some serious psychological issues who is being exploited to destroy a man's career...
  14. No. Aside from statute of limitation issues, there is literally no evidence - merely an allegation.
  15. Speaking of rambling and incoherent. Those two independent claims are ludicrous on their face. The FBI has conducted six background investigations on Kavanaugh and there is nothing here to investigate. The four witnesses named by the accuser stated it never happened. Time to move on and confirm him already
  16. They should confirm Kavanaugh on a vote early next week and end this lunacy.
  17. I guess it would depend on your definition of a "high quality" QB. To me, they are guys like Brady, Rodgers, and Brees, who do not come along very often - and sometimes they are found by accident (Brady) and sometimes they obvious (Manning). However, guys like Mariota and Winston seem to come along every couple of years or so.
  18. The same thought runs through my mind and, then, I see teams like the Denver Broncos dish out 36 million to Case Keenum. I think there will always be teams that think look at guys like Mariota and Winston and think they could win now with them
  19. I think there are very few GMs that would have the balls to do it; however, QBs like Carr, Mariota, and Winston would be the exact type of players would be in the "I might consider it" range
  20. That was the suggestion. You had better be spot on in your evaluation if you trade a top QB for a top draft pick to select another QB
  21. I read this article this morning. There are numerous examples of teams going south after paying franchise money to their QBs. IMHO, (1) it is difficult to keep a lot of top tier talent on the roster when a team is paying a QB franchise money, (2) a true franchise QB (i.e.; Brady, Rodgers, Brees) can carry a team that is stocked with two or three other top tier players, but mostly good, second tier talent and solid young players on rookie contracts (relying on good talent evaluation in the draft and free agency), and, unfortunately, (3) in a QB driven/starved league, there are far too many teams paying franchise money to non-franchise QBs.
  22. I feel the same. Staying faithful is a conscious choice - and an easy one when you are with the right woman.
  23. I think, at this point, teams have to look primarily at keeping him in the pocket, given what he has done running the ball and extending/making plays outside of the pocket. Hopefully, he and his receivers -and the running game -will be able to take advantage...
  24. "Playing Rough?" Sounds more like it's about Cornelius Bennett's dating life....
