  1. This seems like a lot of time and effort spent on another team's fan site, particularly when most of your posts are really about telling us how great Mahommes is and how Josh Allen and the Bills are just average - at best. To each their own; however, I just don't get it. The only thing that makes sense to me is that you must be a former Bills fan who was enamored with Mahomes, got upset when the Bills didn't draft him, became a Chief's fan when they drafted him, and love to come back here to remind us that the Bills could have had him... I could be wrong; but, I doubt you would be here posting if Mahomes was an awful QB...
  2. Such a shame he can't stay healthy.
  3. Isn't it past the point in this thread where we should have had a "slow your roll," "pump the brakes," or some other variation of telling us to temper our enthusiasm post?
  4. Apparently, the nobodies are talking about it. Whoever they are...
  5. I think it is probably not the other posters you are responding to that have an issue with being sensitive. It seems, when anyone dares disagree with you in any way, your responses become angry, condescending, insulting, and generally aggressive.
  6. I wouldn't blame him if he walked away now and certainly if he sustained another concussion. Being around and healthy, long term, for your family and those that love you is worth more than your career. I understand that more and more the older I get.
  7. It is interesting. Many of the same people who championed Tyrod and EJ as franchise caliber QBs, seem to feel Allen has little chance of ever becoming even an above average NFL QB. Just hoping their judgement about Allen is as wrong as their judgement about Tyrod and EJ.
  8. I won’t disagree with you there
  9. He is allowed to voice his opinions and those criticizing him are allowed to voice theirs. And how did you arrive at the conclusion a lot of people criticizing him are lazy?
  10. People on phones in general and texting in particular was a major reason why I stopped riding and sold my motorcycle as well - and I loved riding.
  11. Hopefully, you will get that eventually. I spent most of my adult life living in cities and suburban areas. Fortunately, my wife hates having neighbors even more than I do - and our children are all grown - which allowed us to move to a 6 acre wooded lot. I retired from my carreer; however, I continue to work for myself, primarily from home and I love the peacefulness. I also love to work outside in my spare time (currently building a lower deck off the back and a small green house, out of old windows and doors, for my wife). I love being able to work as early or late as I want without getting any sh** from neighbors about the noise or what I am building.
  12. Good post. Criticizing the man and criticizing the player are two different things. I believe most of the posters on this forum keep their opinions confined to Peterman's play on the field, which, unfortunately for Nate, has been a target rich environment for a football discussion board, and away from his character - as it should be.
  13. "The alleged victim told police Philon requested that she and another female follow him to his vehicle where he kept his money..." Was he putting IOUs in their g-strings?
  14. He is the face of the franchise at the moment and he seems to be handling that burden just fine - and managing to do it in an incredibly humble and respectful way. To criticize him in this area is to just be looking for things to criticize...
  15. We live on six acres in the woods and can't even see our neighbors. It's like heaven...
  16. I'm not defending anyone. I am just not a fan of ignorance. I know this is not a popular concept; however, I believe in placing the responsbility and blame in these instances where it belongs - with the person that pulled the trigger. These are individuals with severe psychological issues. Sometimes it is an organic mental illness and, most times, it is a severe personality disorder issue. Their interpretations of the world around them are distorted, to say the least. These interpretations drive their behavior, because behavior is a function of consequence. In other words, we do things for a reason. In these instances, the offenders behave in ways to meet their own psychology. You show a complete lack of understanding of violent offenders and want to tie their motivations to Trump to suit your own needs - and then accuse anyone who disagrees with you of being a white supremacist. I didn't vote for Trump and wholly despise him as a person. However, he is not the reason for these shootings. You didn't answer my question. Was Jodie Foster responsible for John Hinkley and the Beatles for Charles Manson? At least be consistent in your beliefs and arguments.
  17. Perhaps we should have blamed Jodie Foster for John Hinkley's victims, or the Beatles for Charles Manson's victims, or..... Really, no need to go on. This type of thing is nonsense.
  18. Blaming video games, Donald Trump, or anyone/anything else for general violence or specific acts of violence is misplaced blame and a superficial understanding of violent offenders.
  19. You are right, Gugny, in that most mass shootings (in the truest definition) are comitted by white males with legally obtained firearms. It is also true that those murders comprise a fraction of the (on average) 13,000 - 15,000 murders in this country each year. It is also true that the majority of the overall murders in this country are comitted by non-white males and, in those murders where firearms are used, most are not obtained legally.
  20. I was speaking strictly from a perspective of psychology and criminal behavior. From a political perspective, they are each portrayed in whatever way is most useful for political advantage - regardless of reality.
  21. The end result is the same: murder. However, they are completely different crimes in regard to offender type and motivation.
  22. A jury of twelve acquitted him. It doesn't mean they thought he was innocent. Those are two separate issues - particularly with that trial.
