  1. This is the sack in the 1st Quareter: This is after breaking the huddle:
  2. Wise advice and Josh needs to learn - sooner rather than later. I don't want him to lose that competitiveness and desire, just be smarter about it.
  3. Your rants against Allen are becoming ridiculously biased and indefensible. Repeating them over and over and over and over...doesn't make them any more accurate. But, hey, carry on
  4. Sorry, you can't have it both ways. At least be consistent. Allen's play was a combination of his own mistakes and the Pats* defense. So the defense was mostly responsible for making a HOFer look awful; however, the defense had nothing to do with a kid in his 15th NFL game look bad? Nonsensical
  5. I guess the Bills defense shouldn’t really excuse Brady from being wildly inaccurate (46% completion) and making horrible decisions (Awful decision on the interception). I hope he learns from those mistakes
  6. No disrespect to you; however, I'm tired of hearing about Belichick and the Patriots...
  7. I told my son before the game and all through that first half that they needed tp go to the tight ends, particularly Knox, and Yeldon out of the backfield. It would have been a completely different game. On the bright side - what yesterday's game showed me is that this team doesn't even have to come close to playing perfect football to beat the Patriots. Offensively, they need to play better than they did, with fewer mistakes; however, with all the mistakes they made, the bad plays, and the bad play calling, they still could have won that game. I also believe they just might have done so if Allen could have finished the game. A long way to go, but I like where this team is headed.
  8. You can make it as bold as you want and put it all in caps if you wish. It would still be a lazy, superficial analysis of the game...
  9. Always enjoy your posts. I can always count on a reasonable, objective viewpoint.
  10. This is where I am at. I liked Mahommes as well, although, I don't think there were many people who thought he was going to be as good as he has turned out to be. The point is: What good does it do to complain about things you can't control or you can't change?
  11. No I am not - that was just for dramatic effect
  12. Good post and you are wasting your time. He's a crusader.
  13. Ahhh, there you have it. Because I am not concerned, it means I don't believe he needs to improve. The pot calling the kettle black. Let me make my stance very clear for you: I like Josh Allen and I like the way he plays. I believe he will be the franchise QB for this team. He has a lot of room for improvement and he absolutely needs to better understand when he needs to reign in his gunslinger mentality. But the truth is - that is who he is - and for every bad play he makes because of that mentality, I can show you five good to great plays he made because of that mentality. Was yesterday a bad day? Yes it was. Was I happy with how he played in the first half? Absolutely not. Do I think, inspite of how poorly he played, that he might have led the team to a win anyway, had he not gotten hurt? Yes. He is an immense talent and a gamer. He will learn and get better. In the meantime, I'm not going to have a catastrophic meltdown, or throw a childish tantrum every time he has a bad game or makes a mistake.
  14. I have already gone that route and it is a waste of time. You are disingenuous and relentless in your dislike for Allen. You concluded he was going to be a bust when he was drafted and have been waging that crusade ever since. The fact that you have seemed to completely disappear whenever Allen has done well says all we need to know...
  15. I didn't say the games weren't winnable without the defense. The fact is, they needed late, 4th quarter TDs to win and he delievered. He certainly has been far less than perfect and has a hell of a lot to improve on. However, the same posters telling the rest of us that we don't want to see the things he doesn't, or hasn't done, well tend not to see things he does, or has done well.
  16. It is OK to NOT be worried about Josh Allen. Saying you are NOT concerned does not mean you are a homer. It does not mean you are clueless. It does not mean you think he has played lights out every single game. He would. He's a one trick pony...
  17. Except he did have to win the Jets and Bengals games with late 4th quarter drives...
  18. jrober38 has an agenda. He has claimed Allen will be a bust since the draft and will twist any fact or statistic in any way to prove himself right. He was nowhere to be heard the first three games. Now, after a bad day, he is out in full force with his usual post after post, after post, of some variation of Allen sucks.
  19. I have no idea why any poster on this forum responds to Pats* bandwagon fans who justify anything their team does and have no ability to, knowledgeably and objectively, analyze football - and who also lack the awareness and class to know you do not go on another team's message board after what happened yesterday. Ignore them and they will go away. Their time will come. They are only fans as long as their team is winning. When their team stumbles and goes back to mediocrity most of those fans will disappear and reappear as fans of another team that is playing well.
  20. BS. They didn't stop playing their game up 13-0 and they certainly didn't stop playing their game up 16-10 most of the second half. Easy road win for them? Hardly
  21. Disappointed as well. However, what I took away was that they DIDN'T need to play a perfect game to beat the Pats*. Less mistakes? Obviously. But, they could have beaten that team even with those mistakes.
  22. Offense hasn't either until yesterday. I don't see the equivalent of the Pats* defense coming up over the next four games And, I am not convinced, as bad as he played in the first half yesterday, that Allen wouldn't have led them to a win if he hadn't been hurt
