  2. The best line from that video. Awesome! Here's hoping...
  3. Thank God he is much better at QB than you are at analyzing football....
  4. Right, I'm sure it was because Allen is so awful that they didn't trust him - even though the team has scored only 4 redzone touchdowns all year that were not because of Allen's arm or legs. You are simply trolling now. And not even doing a very good job of it....
  5. If you are going to complain about Allen's passing, shouldn't you use an example where he actually threw a pass? They ran six plays after Tre's interception - all runs (although Gore was looking to pass). Allen kept the ball once, where he ran for a first down on 3rd and 2. Do you even watch the games?
  6. Honestly, I haven't watched anything on ESPN in years. The quality of the product has just continually gotten worse
  7. You are absolutely right from the perspective of the average fan. Most of us do not watch every game out there and often, make judgements about performances of players from other teams based off highlights and stats. However, if your JOB is to provided commentary on sports and you decide to comment, on a national platform, about a specific player, perhaps you should do a little more indepth analysis prior to making the comments....
  8. Amen, brother. Hodges came into that game having success primarily throwing under 10 yards with a strong supporting running game. The Bills shut down the run game and forced them to open up the passing game more. Between the pressure and the coverage, the Bills' play had a lot to do with those interceptions.
  9. Maybe he IS jrober38... You know Le Batard was away from ESPN for awhile getting married to a young woman who clearly can't debase herself enough for money, while jrober38 was conspicuously absent from this board during the same time...
  10. Right. Anyone who has ever listened to him shouldn't be surprised. My favorite line from one of the other idiots: "If Duck Hodges hadn't thrown all those interceptions, he would have had a better day than Allen" LMFAO... Well, you know what they say about opinions....
  11. Of course he doesn't. Haven't you been paying attention? If Allen hadn't been such an awful QB in those games, the team wouldn't have been in a position to need game winning drives. The fact that he actually came through on all those game winning drives is irrelevant... So I'm told....
  12. Amen, brother. I have no idea why people continue to fuel his trolling....
  13. To add: If I am not mistaken, Josh is also 2nd in the NFL in converting 3rd downs when they need 10+ yards
  14. Don't sell yourself short. It is apparent there is a LOT you don't get....
  15. Did you see him on Sunday night? Clearly following the Karlos Williams hand book on NFL dieting...
  16. I do not believe McDermott is as conservative as people want to portray him and there are plenty of examples to support it. However, I absolutely agree with you on that particular series of plays. The Bills have scored 25 TDs in the redzone this year and 21 of those were either from Allen's legs or his arm (84%). They scored only four TDs all year in the RZ with Allen handing off to a RB. I don't know if it was Daboll or McDermott, but, when you run six plays in the redzone (particularly between the 10 and 18 yard lines) and you take the ball out of the hands of your best RZ playmaker, Allen, on five of them (he kept it on the 3rd and 2 - which he made) you have just drastically decreased your odds of scoring. No excuse at all for the play calling in that series of plays.
  17. Not necessarily disagreeing with you. New England***** does have a strong D overall. However, they are exceptionally good when teams try to set up and go deep on them. In that game, they were stacking the line and bringing pressure. They also did well in confusing Allen at the line. The OL did not do well with the pressure and Allen had little time to setup and deliver a pass. The problem was compounded by (1) deeper developing plays and/or little separation by receivers on shorter routes. There were a number of plays where Allen was either scrambling for his life or standing in the pocket as pressure closed in on him and, literally, had nobody giving him a target. I saw receivers getting open during that game; but, most of the time Allen already had to scramble, had been sacked, or had thrown the ball away. When he did have the time to go deep, it was a disaster. We saw it in that game, the Baltimore game, and the Pittsburgh game. The offensive line and Allen struggled with pressure. In particular, I think if Allen gets pressure on him early, he reverts to his old ways of not trusting his line and his mecahanics start to break down. That's the way it was for him at Wyoming, last year with the Bills, and to a certain degree, in those games this year cited above. I believe he is getting better; however, old habits die hard. I think when they go to the no huddle, it becomes harder to disguise the defense play after play with the same personnel - even for Belichick*****, Allen plays more instinctively (not overthinking things), leading to quicker (and better) decisions, and he tends to run quicker developing plays. And, when he gets in a rhythm, his confidence and comfortability increase - leading to better mechanics. I am not trying to over simplify what they need to do. But, I do believe, in game situations, the deep ball and longer developing plays, are not strengths this year for Allen or the Oline - particularly with pressure. I'm not sure what the answer is against NE*****; but, I do think it lies with involving the TEs and RBs more, and sticking with the things that have been strengths for Allen. Here's hoping they figure it out.
  18. When it comes to Allen, he really doesn't have much credibility left. He has been as strong of a non-objective, anti-Allen voice as there is on this board. You rarely hear from him when Allen does well and he can't seem to post enough when Allen doesn't do well (by his perception - which is mostly stat driven). He will cite and cling to any game, play, or stat that supports the opinion he has held of Allen since the draft.
  19. There is enough blame in that 1st NE game for both Allen and Daboll. Why they thought it was a good idea to attack the strength of the NE defense with longer developing pass plays and deep throws is beyond me. Allen's strength is the LOS - 20 yds range and if there is a way to attack the NE defense, it is in that range utilizing TEs and RBs as well as the WRs. The only time Allen did not struggle in that game was the first drive of the third quarter. They ran the no huddle, with quicker developing plays and shorter throws. Allen went 5-5 and they scored a touchdown. He also utilized the RBs coming out of the backfield and the two biggest plays of the drive were throws to Yeldon. They then went back to the previous game plan with longer developing plays and deeper throws - and, surprise, he struggled again.
  20. Amazing how you seem to post so much more whenever Allen has a "statistically" bad game... Given your posting history regarding Allen, are you sure you should be lecturing others about objectivity? Cheer up, it could always be worse. Allen could have 29 turnovers like your mancrush, Winston, has....
  21. That's fine for all the men in the organization, but what about a punishment for Brady?
  22. It was a non-whistle that upset me more than the phantom fask mask on Edmunds. In the second quarter, the Bills had a third and 8 from their 20. The Steeler's linebacker is Offside and unabated to the QB. He hits Allen, another defender hits Allen as well, and the referee watches as they drive him into the ground before he blows the whistle...
