  1. WR is truly the top need for this team this off season. The 2020 class has more "potentially" good WRs than we have seen in a long time and I am all in on taking one in the top two rounds and several overall. However, "potential" is all you are getting from the draft. Outside of a true top 5 pick talent, WR may be as tough to predict as QB in regard to how well he may do in the NFL. I think the Bills should also address WR through free agency, or a trade, as well as the draft. Green is great when he is available - but, he has missed 13 games in the last 3 years and will be 32 going into next season. I would prefer they not choose someone who has had recent injury problems and hope they do not have more. This is a position they have to hit on for this offense to get better. The options may be limited in free agency, so, maybe they can find a willing trade partner. I think Beane would have no problem paying for a top WR. He did, in fact, consider Antonio Brown and I don't think it was the simply the money that stopped him from pursining it any further.
  2. You truly have very little ability to objectively analyze Allen's play.
  3. Up to this point, what I have gathered from the posts today: 1) Allen sucks 2) The Oline sucks 3) Allen sucks 4) Edmunds sucks 5) Allen sucks 6) The coaching sucks 7) Allen sucks 8.) The run defense sucks 9) The run game sucks 10) The receiving sucks and 11) Allen sucks Did I miss anything? Kind of wondering how we made the playoffs...
  4. There are a lot of legitimate points that can be made about what might have affected the outcome of a game. Yet, you always pick the one that puts Allen at fault...
  5. My guess is he will prove you wrong before this thread ends....
  6. He is not the primary reason they lost the game. There is enough blame to go around. It is a team sport....
  7. He picks an article by a Pats*** fan and ignores a number of "actual" national media members singing Allen's praises. This board is almost insufferable after a loss with the handful of posters who feel the need to take over every thread with their "Allen might possibly be the worst QB who has ever picked up a football in the history of the sport" posts...
  8. I'll take "Another overreaction to a loss" for $500 please.... 100%
  9. Here you go: https://www.niagara-gazette.com/sports/sullivan-patriots-still-have-bills-number-but-gap-clearly-closing/article_f9fd386a-2464-11ea-aa48-2fb805bcda27.html
  10. Jerry Sullivan the voice of optimism? I guess Hell has frozen over....
  11. Yeah, Knox has done better over the last 7 games (15 catches on 22 targets); however, when he drops one, it always seems to be in a critical situation / fairly easy catch. Or maybe it just feels that way. If they target Knox (and he can catch the passes he should) and Kroft more in this game, I think they could move the ball pretty well
  12. Yeldon did have 4 catches on 4 targets for 68 yards in the 1st NE***** game - including the two biggest plays on the TD drive. I think the Bills have to use their TEs and RBs in the passing game against NE*****
  13. Cocaine and hookers were apparently ok, as long as they didn't bring either to practice...
  14. Some Allen stat food for thought: Pretty good road stats....
  15. There were choices. There are always choices. They chose an option that, IMHO, provided an opportunity to truly change the culture (from top to bottom) and to build a team based off a blueprint designed for the team to be a perennial contender. Best choice, without a doubt. Again, IMHO.
  16. It would be a shorter answer if you asked, "Is there an aspect of footbball where the Patriots*** do not cheat?" Answer: No
  17. This is beyond an inability to be objective in your analyses of Allen - it is a flat out out refusal to be objective.
  18. 9 new starters on offense. It takes time and continuity. They have gotten better throughout the year. I have a feeling it will really pay off as they move forward into next year - particularly for Allen.
  19. This is my feeling. It is not about having a good year, it is about turning the corner and becoming a perennial contender for the division and conference titles. It feels like they are headed in that direction. There are no certanties, but, it feels that way.
  20. Interesting that Brown has such a disparity on YAC compared to the others. Interestingly, there are 35 QBs that have had more than 150 passing attempts this season. Josh Allen ranks 31st in YAC by his receivers.
  21. I was hoping they would select him in the 2nd. They will get someone even better in next year's draft, my friend.
  22. I'm feeling old Actually, my son was only 8 when they made the playoffs in 1999 and, along with the rest of us, has not had much to cheer for since. We talk every week after the Bills game and I can hear the difference in his voice these days - and it makes me happy. I do believe this team is on the rise and and I hope that my son and others, like you, have the opportunity to experience a sustained period of time when this team is one of the top teams in the NFL. It's a good feeling. Enjoy the game. Like you, I do not fear the Pats***; but, win or lose this weekend, I still feel there are really good things on the horizon. Go Bills!
