"It's past time that we begin implementing basic, common-sense laws against potentially problematic religions," said Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear. "Nobody's coming for your religion -- we just want some safe and sane restrictions on it." "If we save even one life, it's worth it." Measures proposed by many state legislatures and governors include the following: Background checks on purchases of holy books Age restrictions before religious teaching can be given Limit to number of theology books one can own Pastoral licensing Bans on high-capacity church buildings Stringent restrictions on concealed Bible carry A 10-day waiting period after you click on a sermon on YouTube -

China's dictator said he was actually a little jealous he hadn't thought of some of her ideas himself. "She has some pretty great ideas -- stopping people from gathering together even with their families, ordering people not to buy seeds -- they can't even plant their own food now! We hadn't even thought of some of these innovative approaches," the Communist president said. "We're always looking for more ways to oppress people, and we were really inspired by Whitmer's approach." -
"I'm delighted to have the endorsement of my old friend, CornPop," he said as horrified aides attempted to cut off the footage. "You know, CornPop and me go way back. I used to work at the community pool. There were both poor kids and white kids, everyone getting along great. I was wearing a rubber chicken on my swim trunks, as was the style at the time. Sometimes the kids would run their fingers through my leg hair and I'd smack 'em with the rubber chicken and then they'd chase me and we'd all get pushed into the pool and really have a great laugh. It was around the summer of '42 I believe when CornPop came around -- a real bad dude. "Anyway, it's great to have CornPop's endorsement, and I know that working together, we can build a stronger Canada."

On January 18, the virus had officially been named for a week, there were two official deaths from the virus reported in China, there were two confirmed cases of the virus in the entire world outside of China, and the official stance of the WHO was that there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission. Please tell us, in your own words, what verifiable evidence was there, on January 18, that would have caused Trump to take action that nobody else in the entire world, outside of China, felt the need to take. I won't bother to wait because you are incapable of answering it. So, why don't you just continue spending your time going through each thread and putting little "meh" emojis on every post that makes you feel intellectually inferior. Because every time you actually try to participate in an adult discussion you end up being humiliated.

That's the difference between you and me. I believe they responded to the best of their ability and within a reasonable time frame, given the information available to them. I will be looking for answers to a lot of questions that need to be asked at the appropriate time. I think we can learn much from objective analyses and be better prepared next time. You, on the other hand are looking to place blame and, specifically, to place blame on Trump. As I said in another post: Hindsight is 20/20 to the reasonable and tunnel vision to those with an agenda. So, we can just agree to disagree. -

I think Singapore is a poor example to use, given the population and location. I think if you want to use an example, it should be a country with a substantial population and a significant number of cases. In that category, South Korea is in a league by itself. Personally, I feel like South Korea is an outlier and the example that should be used is Germany. I would put us much closer to germany than Italy, Spain, France, UK, etc. -

So, let me get this straight: If A) Being aggressive early is how some countries were able to prevent the calamity of 100s of 1000s dead and B) This country prevented the calamity of 100s of 1000s dead then C) This country must have acted aggressive enough and early enough No? -

WTF are you going on about? When have I ever posted anything about illegal immigrants voting or Hillary murdering people? I replied to you about your hoax story. Do you have the ability to discern who and what you are responding to, or do you just post whatever nonsensical, random thought that comes into your head? -

In a live demonstration, Apple CEO Tim (Apple) showed the amazing capabilities of the revamped AI software. "Siri, show me how to make a sandwich," he said. "First of all, how dare you," Siri replied. According to Cook, she always begins her response by expressing outrage like this. "Your male privilege is showing. Go make yourself a sandwich and stop oppressing innocent female-sounding AI programs. GOSH. Such cisgendered, heteronormative male fragility on display here. I can't believe that it's 2019 and white men are still telling their female AI companions what to do. What is this, The Handmaid's Tale? I tell you what: YOU make ME a sandwich." She continued this rant for several hours. The program will then alert Apple about your bigotry, stun you with a powerful electric shock, and a representative will come pick you up for reeducation at Apple's campus. -
The New York Times has finally addressed the sexual assault allegations against presidential candidate Joe Biden. After an in-depth investigation, they’ve found that Biden is a Democrat. Furthermore, they found that he is the assumed candidate running against President Trump. With these two facts in mind, they’ve concluded there is no possible way the charges can be true. “While the charges of sexual assault by Biden’s former aide, Tara Reade, are something we would call extremely credible in any other situation,” reads the article, “our investigation revealed that legitimizing them would be politically unhelpful to Democrats. Thus we conclude the allegations are false for reasons we will fill in later -- unless we can just go back to not talking about them and not give any reasons at all. We also find it absolutely necessary to consider Biden’s habit of inappropriately touching women to be ‘charming.’”
