  1. I personally know at least 4 including myself who will be there, so probably no less than 6.
  2. Draft position of playoff teams is determined by playoff performance, so no. When we win the Super Bowl we’ll be drafting 32nd regardless of if we finish the regular season 10-6 or 11-5. ?
  3. I don’t think I can swing a playoff game trip this year, although if Tennessee wins the division that would be close enough for me to drive to from SC. I went to Jacksonville and everything about the experience was awesome except the result.
  4. I have no BBFS symptoms related to this game. Mine is manifesting in a nagging feeling that we win this week and Miami pulls the upset, but we lay an egg against the Jets, even though I know that’s probably the least likely scenario possible.
  5. He should get another 10 this Saturday.
  6. He actually addressed this when he was asked about it his first year here. His response was basically that they want to be in the best defense for what the offense is showing, and that if the offense changes up too at least he forced them into taking their second best option instead of their best option. I still remember that because it stuck out to me how it simultaneously made so much sense, yet was mind blowing that we actually had a coach who thought that way compared to what we were used to with the previous few coaches.
  7. I don’t get it. A possible shot at the division title is on the line and it sounds like the OP wants to treat it like a preseason game.
  8. Too bad they’ll have to sell the team now due to Collinsworth letting the cat out the bag about them also owning the Sabres on the broadcast last night.
  9. The punching in TD’s while we settled for field goals pretty much sums up the why I said he was less bad than Allen. But 2 of their scoring drives started on our side of the field, one started at their 49 and then there was the blown coverage big play TD. It’s certainly to his credit that he was able to take advantage of those favorable situations, but he did not move the ball consistently when he had to start a drive in his own territory. See above. He was not able to move his offense on a consistent basis. It just so happens that today our guy couldn’t either.
  10. Lamar was bad today. The difference in the game was that he was less bad than Allen was, and had lots of short fields to work with.
  11. Your nature maybe, but human nature seems a bit of a stretch considering how many others have responded who find your premise ridiculous. Two teams can have good games against the same team without one team’s good game taking anything away from the other team’s good game.
  12. The Chanel commercial with the flapper girl looking into the crystal ball might be the worst thing I’ve ever seen on television.
  13. Dumb challenge this early in the game. Even if you win, (which they did) the chance of your opponent converting on 3rd and 1 is pretty high (which they did).
  14. Yes. There may be other scenarios, but one I found with the ESPN playoff machine involved the pats losing out, the Steelers and titans winning out to get to 11-5, and the Texans winning both their remaining games not against the titans to go 10-6. In that case titans take the south, pit takes the 1st wildcard and the Texans get the 2nd with their head to head tiebreaker over the pats. The best possible record for the bills in this case would be 12-4 because the Steelers would have beaten them, but that would be good enough for at least a 1st round bye if not the top seed.
  15. I was definelty nervous, but at worst they’d get the ball at the spot of recovery. The kicking team can’t advance a kickoff.
  16. So, I just got the Pats to miss the playoffs while we’re the #1 seed on the ESPN playoff machine. Pats lose out, bills go 12-4 with loss to the Steelers, Steelers win out, titans win out, Texans win the other 2 not against the titans to go 10-6, and Chiefs lose 1 game. That puts us and Baltimore both 12-4 with a head to head tiebreak in our favor, chiefs winning their division at 11-5, titans winning their division at 11-5, Steelers top wildcard at 11-5, and Texans in the 6 spot at 10-6 with the head to head over the pats.* I’d rather win out but I wouldn’t complain about this scenario either.
  17. I don’t think this is entirely true. It’s still mathematically possible, although unlikely that the Bills could be sitting at 12-3 and all other division leaders and the Pats* at 10-5 headed into week 17.
  18. Most of the Bills game calls have been mentioned, so I’ll throw in the two point conversion attempt that was initially called good in the saints falcons game where the receiver so obviously fumbled at the 1 it looked like he was throwing the ball at the pylon.
  19. At first glance I read this as “if you do fraternize, scrub your friends,” which led to some hilarious mental imagery.
  20. Ive been so excited about the Bills game I forgot we got a warmup first too.
  21. I don’t think this is possible, and I’m one of those crazies still legitimately holding out hope that the division is in play. But even if we win out going into it and they lose out going into it, that would put us at 11-3 vs. 10-4. They could still catch us with those records, especially since they’d have the head to head tiebreaker from beating us twice if they won the second matchup.
  22. TD to Beasley on the second drive after an Allen rushing TD on the first turns out to be the game winner in a 34-10 victory.
  23. Am I the only one more surprised that Allen only has 1 than that Zeke only has 1?
  24. It’s a nickname because he’s a champion duck caller.
  25. What the heck? By that same logic every team in the league is terrible, because at some point in every game they all had 0 points.
