  1. That would never happen, this is the BIlls we're talking about.
  2. While it is indeed ugly that some of those guys make the top 10 list of BIlls QB's, I would imagine that the list would be similarly ugly for most teams in the league. After all, when a team has a good QB they usually try to hold on to him for a while. Look at the top 2 guys on this list for the Bills. Kelly played 11 seasons for them, and Ferguson played 12. that's almost half the team's history between 2 guys. Doesn't leave room for much else besides a couple more long-tenured quality starters, or a whole bunch of average joes who maybe had one or two good seasons.
  3. What relevance does this have to a discussion of an alleged incident of domestic violence? The lady has a 2 inch gash on her head, and all you can contribute is a judgment of how attractive she is? Stay classy.
  4. Does anyone know why the online stream of the radio broadcast from wgr cut out promptly at 7 and when I try to get it back my phone says I'm not authorized to access the file? Blacking out the radio seems a little ridiculous, especially since I'm in south carolina
  5. If you beat them more than half the time, they aren't the better team, you are.
  6. Yes, our defensive backpacks will be great, but I'm concerned about the coverage abilities of the fannypacks on special teams.
  7. It was last year. Sheppard was the last to sign.
  8. Then why start now? Just because you can doesn't mean you have to.
  9. Well, since polian's employment in buffalo was over a few years before Kelly retired, I can forgive him for not continuing to build the team after Kelly was gone.
  10. There was no 53 option, so I voted 7+
  11. I don't think boxing is the best example to use to make your argument here. Boxing fell by the wayside not because of concerns over the athletes being injured, but because it was replaced by an even more brutal, violent combat sport with the rise of MMA fighting.
  12. But the owners would hate it because their logos wouldn't be.
  13. I understand where you guys who think this is the beginning of the end for football are coming from, but I don't see it happening. 100 years ago players were literally dying on the field and football didn't go anywhere. Keeping in mind that back then football was essentially a niche sport compared to what it is today, I just can't see how the end of football is upon us. If it could survive player deaths when it didn't have widespread popularity, I don't see how it will collapse now that it is the country's most popular sport by far. The game will adjust and continue to thrive, just like it did then. I'm not saying it won't look drastically different in 50 or 100 years, but American tackle football in some form will always be around IMO.
  14. Don't know about other schools, but I played hockey and lacrosse in high school and we did baseline testing at the beginning of the season for both sports starting in my senior year. I graduated in 2006 so it's been available at the high school level for at least 6 years. The test itself was a bunch of simple puzzles and other problems done on the computer to test speed and accuracy of different cognitive processes. If you were suspected of having a head injury, you did the test again and couldn't play until you did as well as you did on your baseline test.
  15. They have this one running back from D III who isn't too bad. I think his name is Frog Jameson or something like that. He might have just signed a new contract. I'm sure you could look it up.
  16. East Rutherford, New Jersey
  17. I'll just do the AFCE Bills 16-0 Jets 2-14 Pats 2-14 Dolphins 2-14 All wins for Jets, fins and pats are the result of splitting their divisional series' with each other.
  18. So you are 12 years old?
  19. Players in general weren't as strong and fast then though, and offseason training was not as common. You can't really compare players from the era when beer and cigars were handed out in the locker room as halftime snacks to the guys playing today.
  20. The Bills' biggest mistake with Denney was not playing him at TE and bringing Moorman in at QB for more red zone situations.
  21. You might be correct based on your silly technicalities, but Kelsay has been wearing 90 for the Bills since he has been in the league. Even if the team could force him to switch (which I don't think they can, but I'm not sure), they have publicly stated that they would not. Since he is not being forced to and is unwilling to change, he will continue to wear 90 as long as he is a member of the team. That is what makes it his number.
  22. Kelsay is the one person who should care. It's just a number, but its HIS number.
  23. I think you are correct that #12 is the only number which is "officially" retired. However, the team no longer issues 32, 34, or 78, and they try to avoid issuing 83 if possible, but that one is a little trickier because of the number of receivers and tight ends on the team and the restrictions on which numbers they can wear. I remember reading an article about this sometime last year that said that Andre Reed personally ok'ed Lee Evans wearing 83 when he joined the team. I'm not sure how he feels about a backup TE having it now though. edit: here's the article http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/The-untouchable-numbers/d99eac04-f960-4a5d-b9e8-f67b1b1c971f
