  1. Don't you mean de-pussified in this case?
  2. Lindell's leg is fine. He hit one from 50 in bad weather last week that wouldve been good from 55+. It's chan that's the problem. He basically said after last week that his philosophy is against trying long field goals unless the game is already out of reach in the bills' favor when asked why he didn't kick a 50 yarder when he had the chance against Indy in a dome, but did in wind and rain against Jacksonville.
  3. I agree. I joined this board around the time chan was hired and even though i didnt know much about him, i decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. I liked him his first two years, but his decisions this year have been mind boggling and have cost this team several games along with fitz's play, who i also liked until this year. Id be ok with keeping fitz as a backup, but at this poit its clear to me that chan needs to go. As an aside, I had a dream last night that the bills lost this game because Lindell missed a 52 yarder. When I saw them lining up for a 52 yarder, I was thinking my dream was about to come true. Instead chan takes a timeout and punts, and and the points left on the field by not even trying the field goal end up being the difference in the game. I wish we would've had the chance to see how that kick would've turned out. I'd either be a prophet, or maybe Lindell makes it and this game turns out differently as a result. Go bills.
  4. The article only references it from an aspect of personal immaturity, but it's enough to make you wonder if he's on the take.
  5. No boycott for me. I'll be there for the last game of the season whether the team is 4-11, 8-7, or anywhere in between at that point, because I'll be back in western ny for Christmas at that point and it'll be my only opportunity to go to a game this year. Until then I'll continue watching every game on Sunday ticket, just like I have been all season.
  6. 11 Edit: looking at that number, I just realized that was more than half my lifetime ago, yet I remember it like it was yesterday. This realization amazes and saddens me.
  7. I thought the defense, including KW, played well today. KW was getting in Luck's face and hitting him pretty often early in the game. He was the one who brought the pressure up the middle on the play where Luck threw the INT. Without KW barreling down on him, Luck throws that to his guy instead of ours. To say he was ineffective today is just wrong.
  8. I'm pretty sure he's been the holder for the entire time he's been on the team except the first game after moorman was cut, but I could be wrong.
  9. I'd like to see more kicking to score. The name of the game is football, after all, so on every scoring play you should be required to touch the ball with your foot. I propose that teams can elect to kick a field goal at any time, just like they can now. Instead of getting 6 points automatically for crossing the goal line, they earn 3 kicks. The first 2 are uncontested free kicks from 40 yards out for 3 points each, and the 3rd would be the extra point attempt as it currently exists. If a team elects to go for a 2 point conversion, the final kick would be a 40 yarder which the opponent has the opportunity to block. To add strategy and prevent teams from going for 2 every time, the kicking team is only allowed to have 9 players on the field, while the team attempting to block the kick gets 11, making blocks more likely. Kickoffs after scoring plays would work the same as they do now. if you reach the endzone and then fail to convert all three of your kicks, therefore getting 0 points, it is an automatic touchback for your opponent.
  10. Just got the inactive list via text, and potter was on it.
  11. I'm not so sure this is the case. Fred has fumbled more than cj this year, on less carries. Edit: I forgot that spiller also fumbled a pass, but they still have the same amount of fumbles with Fred getting less touches. My point remains that Fred isn't any less prone to fumbling this season than cj is.
  12. You have your '90's era QB's mixed up. John Elwes is heavily involved with the Broncos. It's Jim Kelly who wants to buy the Bills.
  13. It would be against the rules to do this, as Nelson is on IR. Even if he was healthy, he's not a tight end.
  14. I was thinking about this before the Browns game, and geographically it would make way more sense. I would support the move now if it had a chance to happen, even though I was against it however many years ago the last realignment was because I didn't want to give up the Dolphins rivalry.
  15. Maybe Stevie was standing in the endzone while they played catch in warm ups and some drunk fan got confused.
  16. Yeah but we had 10 in one game last year, so 9 in 2 games doesn't really show improvement.
  17. I was ok with him being released, but this makes me a little nauseous.
  18. To me, the Bills are the baby and the rest of the league is the bathwater, so it would be more analogous to throwing out the bathwater after the baby had been kidnapped. That's not to say I would never watch NFL football again, but it would be very low on my list of Sunday afternoon priorities, whereas right now the Bills are very high on the same list.
  19. A dork, you say? I believe we have a poster here who goes by a derivative of the name Dork. perhaps this is a clue!
  20. This is where I disagree. If the intent is to throw a forward pass and the ball moves forward without him being hit or otherwise interfered with in his throwing motion, then he is controlling the ball to some extent. In this situation it was extremely poor control, but still enough where it should have been ruled an incomplete pass IMO.
  21. and if he's propelling it forward, he's controlling it.
  22. If it's still on his fingertips, then it hasn't left his hand yet.
  23. I'm not sure how he has time to go to the movies between playing NFL football and campaigning for his school board election in South Carolina...
