I live in South Carolina and work in the school system. The district I work for is on a 2 hour delay tomorrow because the overnight low is supposed to be in the mid teens. The concern is students waiting outside at bus stops in those temps before the sun rises. Even though school oficially starts late, staff reports at the usual time and parents are allowed to bring their kids at the normal time if they need to to accommodate their work schedule.

Since this is getting crazy anyway, how's this for a theory: the jets knew about the opt out through the agent and contacted Marrone. Marrone tells the bills the jets are tampering and he can prove it. Together they hatch a plan to have marrone opt out so they can file tampering charges, the bills and marrone both sell the falling out in the media with conflicting stories, the bills file charges and get the jets first round pick, and marrone comes back to coach the bills.

I didn't vote in the poll and think there are valid points on both sides. My question is, could some sort of compromise be reached? Seeing his full name up there is a little off putting, but what if it was just a number and a last name? Your average layperson or person who knows about the case but doesn't remember his playing career probably wouldn't think twice or even make the connection if it just said "32 Simpson." That might look a little strange if all the other players had first names listed, but maybe the transition could be made for all players if/when a new stadium is built or as part of a reformatting to make room as new names are added.

Regarding the spike, I've wondered before if it could be considered intentional grounding depending on he formation. For example, if there's a tight end on the line or a running back in the backfield it's not IG because those players are considered eligible receivers in the area, but in a five wideout set could it be called IG?

I was in sixth grade when The Sixth Sense came out. That was pretty creepy at the time. Before that, the dollhouse episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? terrified me as a young lad.

I think it should continue to be played after field goals, but I wish they would play it after the actual touchdown instead of waiting until after the extra point. That way those of us who can't be at the game could hear it on tv, and it would eliminate the possibility of an anticlimactic celebration after a missed xp or failed 2 point attempt.

It actually looked to me like brown could have scored anyway ifhe didn't cut it back to the middle. He had 2 defenders in front of him on the sideline but he had blockers at, or on their way to both but instead on following the blocks he cut it back to the unblocked guy in the middle.

Wood threw a legal block to the chest of a defender who was actively pursuing the play, and you said you thought it was dirty. If you're not saying blocking is dirty, what are you saying?
