  1. The VHS case for Babe actually touts it as "the Citizen Kane of talking pig films"
  2. I don't mind a little corn ethanol down my throat. I don't want it in my engine, however.
  3. That is terrible what happened to your grandmother and I agree that leaving someone at the house and even having that person be armed is a good idea, but why wouldn't it be better to make it as obvious as possible someone is there by doing something like having lights and the tv on and walking around with the shades open? Seems to me that doing that would prevent the burglar from making a move on the house to begin with, rather than luring them into a potential armed conflict in the dark.
  4. Asking for an excellent third down conversion rate is misguided anyway. I want an offense so good they never even get to third down.
  5. It would actually make sense to me if all offensive penalties that occur on a live play result in a loss of down, with the logic being that you shouldn't get a re-do for breaking the rules. Exception would be a downfield spot foul where the spot after the penalty still would've been enough for a 1st on the play. Pre snap penalties would not result in a loss of down because the down hasn't happened yet when the foul occurs.
  6. Week 3 2011 when we came back from 21-0 to beat the pats for the first time in forever and go 3-0. That game was the loudest I've ever personally heard the stadium. At the time I thought that would be our year. I still have the sports illustrated from that week with Drayton Florence returning his pick-6 on the cover.
  7. Im rooting for Jacksonville for sure. I don't really get the complaint about the fan base either. All 5 jags fans in my section at the game were perfectly nice.
  8. Not really, just made me sad to think what may have been last week if we had even a semi effective offense.
  9. Even if the steelers don't come back and win, watching their offense against the jags d I can't help but think what could've been last week with an offense even half as productive given how well our defense played
  10. The girl behind me at the game kept trying to shout duuvalll over me when I was getting loud when the bills were on defense. For half a second I thought about asking if she realized she was helping my cause, but I let her carry on.
  11. Decided to call it a night after the cops shut down wing it
  12. I won't be getting in until tomorrow evening, but I'll be there
  13. So accounting for the 6 season ticket holders it's really only 19.9999 percent
  14. You could've had the courage to admit that the Pokémon playing "Mom on your son's hockey team" is your wife, but otherwise spot on.
  15. It is. 17 year Single Malt Drought Reserve. I wouldn't wish the wait during the aging process on anyone (except Pats fans, they can never have any playoff kool aid ever again and it would be too soon), but it tastes undeniably great. As far as the rest of the post, I think it's a winnable game for us, but I'm significantly less confident in the result than I am that there will be 20k bills fans there. Your offense vs. our defense doesn't really scare me, I think we can do enough to neutralize the run game and Bortles' penchant for ints plays into the strength of our secondary. I'm much more worried about if we can move the ball on offense against your D, however.
  16. Someone needs to cheer this guy up by reminding him the Bills are in the playoffs.
  17. Heck, I'm almost to the point of rationalizing him being more effective than he was against Miami depending on how hobbled he is. If his straightaway speed isn't effected much but his cutting is, I can see him taking the yards that are there as more of a downhill runner. Against the fins it looked like part of the problem was him trying to turn everything into a big play and dancing in the backfield instead of hitting the hole for 4-6 yards. Wishful thinking, I know, but if I can't be wildly optimistic now, when can I be?
  18. I wonder what would be considered a "mass viewing" as far as venue size/number of attendees. Obviously New Era, but it's interesting the article mentions movie theaters when many Sports bars have a larger capacity than many movie theaters and screens almost as big, but part of the reasoning cited in the article is that bars would suffer. League kinda talking out both sides of its mouth there IMO.
  19. You need to add the dispersed bills fans coming too. I wouldn't be surprised if half or more of the bills fans there no longer reside in western New York.
  20. Buffalo should tweet out that they have free tarps at city hall for anyone with a game ticket
  21. Jacksonville is only a 4 1/2 hour drive for me, but if I had money to light on fire it would be fun to fly up to Buffalo just to catch one of those flights down. Those planes will be rockin'
  22. Yeah, until bills fans start buying up all those tickets too...
  23. Just over 100 each for corner nosebleeds. I got them as soon as the time was announced and apparently just before the prices started to skyrocket. I had to try several times because I kept getting g to the checkout step on stubhub then getting a message saying someone else beat me to them.
