What is better, no guns, or more guns?
Chandemonium replied to Security's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I will no longer shop there. I went in one time after they announced their anti gun policies to buy ammo with a gift card I had and that’s it. -
Fumble into endzone rule needs to change
Chandemonium replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The rule as is should not be changed, and makes perfect sense in the overall context of the rules of the game if you think of punts and kickoffs as controlled or intentional turnovers, which they basically are. In both of those cases if the ball goes out the defended endzone of the receiving team the result is a touchback. If that is the case for an intentional turnover, why should the rule be different for an unintentional turnover? -
Occasi-Cortez Channeling the Rent's too damn high guy
Chandemonium replied to bdutton's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If she wants Election Day to be a holiday instead of Columbus Day all she has to do is move to South Carolina and get a job in the public school system. We never have Columbus Day off, but we’re always closed for Election Day because the schools are used for polling locations. (Note to Alexandria Ocasio Cortez: please don’t actually move to SC.) -
Do you drive in the left lane (fast lane) on highways?
Chandemonium replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
70 is the limit here for all vehicles. Most of the big rigs I see are within 2-3 mph either side of it so when I set the cruise at the limit I get passed by about as many as I pass. -
13 Killed; 18 Hurt in So. Cal. Bar Mass Shooting

Wasn’t there some investigative report a while back where the “journalist” brought a camera crew to a gun shop to show how scary easy it is to get a gun, only to fail the NICS check? -

I usually set the cruise at the speed limit and stay in the right lane except to pass the occasional semi or grandma that is going slower than me. -

It’ll be interesting to see if NY loses representatives and if so how many after the next census. I have a theory that part of why the blue is spreading up there is because people who enjoy having things like jobs and personal freedoms are hearing Andy’s message that they are no longer welcome and leaving. -

Polls open at 7:00. Got to my polling location at 6:40 and I’m probably about 50-75th in line. -

The first thing I thought of when I watched this was Chevy Chase’s rant in Christmas Vacation when he gets his Jelly of the Month club membership. -
How Has Your Opinion Changed Or Not Re Trump?
Chandemonium replied to 3rdnlng's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I always viewed him more favorably than Hilary, but I didn’t vote for Trump in 2016 as I found his personality off-putting, disagreed with him on several policy points, and where I did agree with him I doubted both his sincerity in holding that position and his ability to successfully implement his agenda were he to be elected. Early on in his presidency I found myself realizing that he was exceeding my at the time low expectations, but I still didn’t really consider myself a Trump supporter. Since then, he has only continued to meet or exceed my overall expectations. although I still don’t agree with every policy and I still cringe at some of his tweets and sound bytes, he’s done enough to earn my vote in 2020 barring a drastic 180 in his positions and effectiveness. -

These poor migrants without any outside support must all be elite ultra distance runners. -

Exclusive footage from the flight -
In my early 20s I landed funny from jumping while goofing around with some friends and rolled my ankle. I snapped the ligament attaching my tibia and fibula and also broke my fibula. I ended up needing surgery to reattach the ligament, and they also had to realign the tibia and fibula with each other by screwing them together. When the injury happened it was the worst pain I had ever experienced, but that pain paled in comparison to what I felt when I came to after the surgery.

For me at least it was 100% economy. I never wanted to leave, but when my wife and I finished college neither of us could find jobs close to home in our chosen fields so we ended up in South Carolina. At the time I thought it would be temporary, we’d get some experience and move back. I’ve been in SC 6 years now and between the high cost of living and draconian gun laws, I don’t see myself ever moving back unless something drastic changes politically in NY. Other than my family, the weather is actually one of the things I miss. Summers here are too hot and winters aren’t cold enough.

It’s coming, and I think this is the year. From season 17 to 18, P. Manning went from one of his best statistical seasons to one of the worst qb’s in the league. This is Brady’s 19th season. When you consider that manning missed an entire season rehabbing his neck, he had 17 seasons of starting qb wear and tear on his body when he retired. Taking out his rookie year when he barely played and the year he tore his acl week one, Brady will have 17 years of starting qb wear on his body at the end of this season. I’m not confident he (or anyone ) can handle much more than that, plus there’s the significance of 17 as a positive number for Bills fans. The stars are aligning.

Fumble vs Forward pass/incomplete

Since all reviews go through the league office, the time for the league to tell them the got it wrong would’ve been when McDermott challenged, but instead it was upheld.
