  1. Meathead, I've got to say that your pic makes me a little naseous. Your proposed 53 man roster is pretty darn good. We should plan to update it and discuss as the preseason moves along. There's no way that the Bills will keep four TEs. Dickerson is looking like a good prospect at this point, but he's still no shoe-in. I would take Carrington over Caussin and I think Moats is too good to cut so maybe he makes it over Potter, who could be kept as a PS player and added to the 53 man roster later in the season. I do have major concerns about McGee's health now and ability to stay healthy for the entire season. Someone is likely to replace him at some point. maybe the Bills will consider CB N. Clements at some point?? Remember that the Bills will almost always have four DLs on the field on defense so it makes sense to take a few more DLs than they might have last year. This is where they have a lot of talented players as well. Moats and Scott are both versatile players, which makes them very valuable. Moats is a LB who can play ST, but who can also rush the passer from the DE position in obvious passing situations. Scott is a SS by trade, but can be used as a cover LB in obvious passing situations to cover oppsoing TEs. One thing that stands out is that this roster is much deeper than last year's roster. That should prove to be invaluable once the injury bug strikes. I think the roster below represents our best 53 man roster at this point, which will likely change as the preseason moves along. So at this point, I would revise the 53 man roster as follows: QB (3): Fitz, Young, B. Smith RB (4): Jackson, Spiller, Choice, McIntyre WR (6): Stevie, Nelson, Jones, Graham, Easley, Hagan (B. Smith) TE (3): Chandler, L. Smith, Dickerson OL (8): Glenn, Levitre, Wood, Urbik, Pears, Hairston, Rinehart, Sanders Offense: 24 DE (5): Mario, Anderson, Merriman, Kelsay, Moats DT (6): Williams, Dareus, Edwards, Sp. Johnson, Troup, Carrington LB (5): Barnett, Sheppard, Morrison, Bradham, Carder (Moats & Scott) S (4): Wilson, Byrd, Scott, Searcy CB (6): Williams, Gilmore, McKelvin, McGee, Rogers, Brooks Defense: 26 K: Lindell P: Moorman LS: Sanborn Special Teams: 3 Total: 53
  2. Yes, I meant from a national perspective. Obviously, the people on this board know who most of these guys are. But I bet if you were to ask someone from Minnesota who CJ Spiller is they would have no clue.
  3. Remember, this was meant to be the ten Bills most likely to make an impact in 2012 NOT those who SHOULD because of the position they play. Even though Fitz plays QB I still expect Jackson and Ma. Williams to make more of an impact whether it be scoring TDs for Jackson or sacking the QB/forcing turnovers for Williams.
  4. Here's my list of the top ten guys on the Bills' roster who are not yet well known, but who I think will make the biggest impact upon the team this year (in order of impact); 1. CB Gilmore - He's just a rookie, but this top ten pick looks to be a starter from day one. 2. MLB Sheppard - He wasn't well suited for the 3-4 last year, but in the 4-3 he's built to shine. Wanny /Barnett really love this guy. 3. LT Glenn - He will need to prove that he's a true NFL ready LT, but the Bills sure do have a lot of confidence in him by giving him nearly all of the reps at starting LT. 4. RB Spiller - He was lost his first year, showed some promise last year, and now appears to be ready to really take off. 5. WR Easley - He has the size/speed ratio that NFL scouts love. The Bills have really high expectations for him. 6. CB Brooks - Not likely to play much CB this year, but this guy is an absolute monster on ST, which is where he will make his mark in 2012. 7. WR Hagan - Very much underrated, he has a lot of ability and will get the chance to show it with the Bills. 8. CB A. Wiiliams - Good size, great athlete. Will likely be a starter opposite Gilmore by mid season, if not sooner. 9. OLB Bradham - Smooth, fast, and a very good coverage LB. Will most likely make his mark on ST in 2012, but could eventually work his way onto the field in 2012. 10. OLB Carder - The Bills really like this guy. We'll probably see him mostly on ST.
  5. We can only hope that Fitz will be #1. Until he proves otherwise, M. Williams and F. Jackson are likely to make a bigger impact. Actually, you'll know things are going well if Merriman is back to being "Lights Out". He should be in the top ten and will be if he is back to his old self.
  6. Who are the ten most impactful Bills players currently on the 90 man roster?? here are mine top ten: 1. DE Mario Williams - He's a game changer/a sack artist/a turnover maker. 2. RB F. Jackson - Was well on his way to having the most yds from scrimmage in the entire league last year until he was injured. He's a stud. Could be a top 5 RB this year. 3. WR St. Johnson - Very difficult to cover. Makes big plays. 4. QB R. Fitzpatrick - Plays the most important position on the team. Had a big first half of the season last year. Need a full 16 this year from him. 5. DT K. Williams - Will pressure the QB/stop the run/lead the defense. 6. DT M. Dareus - Ditto. 7. LB N. Barnett - Playmaker/best coverage LB. 8. FS D. Byrd - QB of the defense. Looking for the INTs that he had in his rookie year. 9. CB S. Gilmore - Shutdown corner. Will especially be needed vs NE. 10. RB CJ Spiller - Multi-faceted game breaker.
  7. There is certainly room on the roster for the TEN DLs that I have listed above............especially since we will be lacking in depth at the LB position unless the Bills choose to sign a veteran LB or two. But as it stands right now, I expect the Bills to keep ten DLs. I think Troup will make the team over Heard because: 1. He's a better player. 2. He can be the kind of DT that Wanny is looking for. Heard is a space-eater. It would be a tough choice, but I would go with Troup over Heard. i think that Edwards/Sp. Johnson/Kelsay all make the final roster. The Bills don't need a fifth pass rusher like K. Moore when they can keep Carrington and Sp. Johnson who can play both DT and DE.
  8. Why cut any of them?? Edwards will slim down and will likely be the first DT off the bench. Wanny wants DTs and DEs who can rush the passer, not plodding, heavy, space-eating DTs. Even Troup is going to try to get down from 327 lbs to 315 lbs. Sp. Johnson already fits the mold of a pass rushing DT. Apparently, some people think he can also play DE, but not at 305 lbs. he too is trying to go from 305 lbs to 295 lbs. We're looking at a new kind of DT here folks and a new type of D-line altogether. I see the Bills keeping more DLs than they have in recent memory because: 1. They will be primarily in a 4-3 alignment. 2. They have a lot of good DLs and the thought will be to keep as many of their best players as possible. I could see the Bills keeping the following DLs on the final roster: DE: Ma. Williams/Anderson/Merriman/Kelsay. DT: K. Williams/Dareus/Edwards/Johnson/Troup/Carrington. Notes: 1. This defense will be dominant if Merriman can play "lights Out" again. 2. Johnson and Carrington can also play DE at times, which is good reason to keep them both. 3. I think the only reason that Edwards would get cut would be because he carries a pretty high cap figure currently (about $4.2M). 4. Some will argue that Heard should make the roster, but I don't see him fitting the mold of DT that Wanny is looking for. Still, he's a good player who I'd like to see the Bills keep around.
  9. Merriman is not a 4-3 OLB. That position requires mostly speed and quickness and the ability to cover RBs/TEs. His best asset is not as a coverage LB. Merriman's best asset is rushing the passer. If that is all he has to worry about as a 4-3 DE then he should do pretty well. If you're a Bills fan you're praying that this guy is completely healthy and ready to hit when training camp begins. If he's fully healthy with a full training camp under his belt he could really be a huge asset for us. In fact, I think the Bills will lead the league in sacks and be a top 10 defense, if not even better, if he's back to his old self. He's really going to benefit from having Ma. Williams on the other side just like B. Paup reallly benfited with B. Smith on the other side. The best thing is he's only 27. Morrison will most likely be one starting OLB along with Barnett. Both fit the 4-3 scheme well under Wannstedt because both can rreally run and cover.
  10. See article below from the Mighty Quinn. I know many of you don't care much for the Bleacher Report. However, as Quinn points out, even though the Bills have done a fantastic job this off season in improving the team, they still need to look to do more to be able to compete with the pats for the AFC East title. Here are the five players that Quinn is recommending that the Bills bring in for a look see: 1. WR P. Burress 2. TE V. Schiancoe 3. OLB E. Sims 4. MLB EJ Henderson 5. OC J. Brown. I have said myself that the Bills still need to address the WR/TE/OLB/LT positions and have recommeded Burress and Schiancoe as well. I wouldn't be opposed to the Bills bringing in all five guys mentioned above to have them compete for a roster spot. The Giants are said to be interested in signing WR P. Burress to replace the injured H. Nicks. Adding guys like the one mentioned above will put Buffalo squarely in New England's league. To give you some idea of how the outside world sees the Bills in relation to the Pats at this point in time, one publication has the Pats ranked #2 overall (Giants are #1) with the Bills ranked #10 overall (based upon the terrific off season that the Bills have had (easily the best in the league). You start adding veteran players in key positions where the Bills need still need help and that gap begins to close very quickly. 5 Players the Bills Should Bring in.
  11. I am actually very pleased with the way Nix has handled things this year..................it's the best off season we've had in a very long time. Every move has been calculated and designed to fill a need. One of the best moves the Bills have made that nobody talks about is putting wannstedt in charge of the defense. His 4-3 alignment will greatly simply things for the players and allow them to play faster and more instinctively. He will be much more respected by the players than his predecessor was. my point to you is not that i don't think the Bills are doing all the right things. No, my point to you is that they can't stop and think they are set. They still need to look to get better.............and i've outlined the four positions where I think they need to find some better players. Let me also say that I am a very big Bills fan (I grew up in Buffalo and still have family living in Buffalo). I have been a contributor to this board more than most of you (well before this board started keeping track of the no. of posts). I was here back in the day when guys like the Kid (big Pats fan who invaded our site), Neeraj, and Hogboy ruled this board. I've written articles for Shout! (a former Bills magazine) as well as sporadic pieces for this website. There is nobodyon this earth who wants to see the Bills win more than I do. I just get sick and tired of losing to the Patriots year after year. At some point, somebody in the Bills' front office has to wake up and see what's going on. Whether you realize it or not the reason the Pats have been so good for so long is that Belichick finds a way to bring in veteran players (guys that are proven NFL players, not hopefuls) to be good role players. He could never do it without Brady for sure and without his own stellar defensive system/play calling and game management skills (his 50+ years in the business doesn't hurt either). Every year without fail he will bring in veteran players who will essentially outplay other teams' rookies or first year players. There will be no rookies blocking for Brady. I'm not saying that the Bills need to copy what the Pats do, but they do need to be continuously on the look out for better players to add to their roster and sign them when they're available.
  12. I'm talking to a wall here. Belichick said he's glad you think the way that you do. Keep on doing the same thing every year. You're bound to get the same results.........no playoff appearance in 12 years..........the most years to not make the playoffs in the entire league. Meanwhile, Belichick will continue to pick up groups of veteran players year after year to add to his base............and continue to win the AFC East year after year. Who likes to keep losing to the Patriots year after year?? Raise your hand.
  13. "OLB: To much competition isn't always good, in my opinion. If you bring another veteran, Morrison and Barnett might feel like they're trying to be replaced and the younger linebackers wouldn't know where to go for help." - Really??? We sure don't want to hurt anybody's feelings. "WR: Burress is the worst option for a big wide out. Plus Chan's idea for spreading the ball out by lining up 4-5 WRs and giving it to everyone (which I don't necessarily think is the best idea for this offense) would kill Burress because he isn't getting the ball." - Gailey plays the type of offense that he plays because of what he has. He doesn't have a great O-line or a stud QB so he has designed a quick throwing spread offense that gets the ball out quick (helps the O-line) and allows the QB to see what scheme the defense is playing (man or zone). Burress would do well in this scheme because he would be open most of the time even when he's not open. You can't cover a 6'-5" WR with great hands 1v1 with a 5'11" CB. "TE: Even though that's a really good idea, I can't imagine Chan bringing in another TE that would actually see snaps. Like I said above, he likes lining up in 4-5 WR sets, not twin TE formations." - Playing two TEs at times makes it more difficult for the defense to stack their scheme with more run defenders or pass defenders. It gives the offense the advantage and the element of surprise. This is especially effective in short yardage, goal line, and red zone situations. "LT: We have Hairston who would most likely start right now while Glenn gets ready to start at LT. Don't have him play RG because that's the other side of the line and a whole other position. If you want him to play LT, you have him prepare himself at LT, not have him learn a whole other position. It will just get him confused and make us look like we need another LT." - You like Hairston at LT. I happen to think McNeil is a much better player.
  14. MDP, Just for clarification purposes, D. Jones was not drafted. He's got aligator arms. I don't expect him to make the roster this year. Jeremy 2020, I'd classify us as follows on offense: QB: top 20 RB: top 10 TE: top 30 WR: top 25 O-line: top 15 w/ Glenn at LT O-line: top 5 w/ McNeil at LT and Glenn at RG. Frogger/NewEra/others, You're just not paying attention. You want to go into battle against the Patriots with rookies and first year players at key positions. We've been doing that for a decade or more and it hasn't worked. We've made Belichick look like a genius because of it. Meanwhile, Belichick snaps up a plethoria of veteran players at a reasonable cost year after year......and plays them ahead of his draft picks. His draft picks learm from the vets while contributing on ST and when they're ready.....they play. There are no. rookies blocking for T. Brady. . For the Bills to take the next step, they have to find a way to get past the Pats in the AFC East. Just beating them once per year isn't enough....although it certainly seems to be enough for some people. We need to produce more wins than them during the regular season. If McNeil proves to healthy at some point....and that may not be by next week......then Nix would be a full not to sign him. rather thn I'm asking the Bills to play guys who have actually produced in the NFL.....like Burress.....rather than cling to hope for guys like Easley/D. Jones/Roosevelt/Aiken/Onubun/Dickerson/et al. You need production to beat the Pats not "please baby please". You add Schiancoe or Shockey and you've adding producers to your offese. Players that the Pats will need to deal with. In the meantime, develop Onubun and/or Dickerson on the PS. Morrison could very well be more than adequate, but he sure didn't show it last year. Bringing in another proven OLB to compete with him and the other OLBs can only help to stoke the competition.
  15. He can still play. Nix is trying to determine his long term health. In other words, can he make it through an entire season with back and knee problems?? Most likely McNeil wants too much money. As the summer moves along mcneil's leverage will decline. Nix was smart to draft a LT prospect like Glenn.....absolutely. Does that mean he's ready to play the most important position on the O-line?? If he is, fine. But if he's not, which is most likely the case, then Fitz either won't make it through nthe season or will have to play injured.....and we all know how well that turned out. Why not add McNeil to the mix if he's healthy??
  16. ................the Bills realize that they still need a few players. Been-a-chick is saying to himself, "You done good Nix, but just like always, not quite good enough." And he would be right. The Bills need to fill a hole at OLB, which the Pats will exploit if they don't. The Bills are not dominant enough on offense. They need to protect Fitz' blind side w/ someone other than a rookie. They need a big WR to create a matchup problem and they need another quality TE to provide balance so the Pats can't double team our best players, which is what they are prone to do. OLB: Barnett is very good. The rookies are not ready. Moats and Batten are not well suited to play OLB in a 4-3 alignment. That leaves Morrison. Maybe he's as good as Barnett, but why not bring in a vet OLB who you know can be a productive player at OLB in the 4-3 and also provide some leadership. Bring in McIntoch or Farrior to at least compete with Morrison. The Bills look to be pretty solid everywhere else on defense. WR: Need someone like P. Burress. Besides St. Johnson, no other WR on the roster can create a matchup problem. Burress' size, athleticism, and ability to catch the ball over the top and in jump ball situation will force teams to double him at times, which means the uncoverable St. Johnson will be open almost all the time. That means trouble for the opposing defense. TE: Need someone like Schiancoe or Shockey. Chandler is an excellent player, but the other TEs on the roster are absolute scrubs. LT: I pray that Glenn is the answer at LT, but he probably needs a year to get acclimated. In the meantime, I say sign a stud LT like M. McNeil for 1-2 years and let Glenn get his feet wet in the NFL as our starting RG. That might hurt somebody's feelings, but it might also help to keep Fitz healthy for the entire season, which is absolutely essential if the Bills hope to make the playoffs this year. Why would the Bills take a chance like that?? With the above additions, and if Fitz plays well, I think the Bills could very well win the AFC East, and thus, make the playoffs. Here would be the final 53 man roster: QB: Fitzpatrick/Young/B. Smith RB: Jackson/Spiller/Choice (B. Smith) FB: McIntyre TE: Chandler/Schiancoe WR: St. Johnson/Burress/Easley/Nelson/Graham (B. Smith) OT: McNeil/Pears/Hairston/Sanders OG: Levitre/Glenn/Urbik/Rheinhart OC: Wood (Urbik) K: Lindell P: Moorman LS: Sanborn DE: Ma. Williams/Anderson/Merriman/Kelsay (Sp. Johnson/Carrington) DT: K. Williams/Dareus/Edwards/Troup/Sp. Johnson/Carrington OLB: Barnett/McIntoch/Morrison/Bradham/Moats (Scott) MLB: Sheppard/Carder CB: Gilmore/A. Williams/McGee/McKelvin/Brooks/Rogers SS: Wilson/Scott FS: Byrd/Searcy Some notes: 1. Would have to cut a good player to keep Potter. 2. Moats is too good of a pass rusher to cut. 3. B. Smith will show how valuable he is this year. 4. This is a top 10 defense, maybe better, if Merriman plays all year long. 5. Wilson/Byrd form one of the top safety duos in the entire league. 6. The starting O-line of McNeil/Levitre/Wood/Glenn/Pears could be stellar. 7. Should be exciting to see Gilmore/A. Williams as the starting corners.
  17. Defense: M. Williams/K. Williams/Dareus/Merriman (best D-line in the league) Barnett/Sheppard/Morrison (good tackles; could use another vet OLB to compete with this group) Gilmore/Wilson/Byrd/A. Williams (Wilson/Byrd make up one of the top three safety duos in the league; Gilmore/Williams should be stellar by mid-season) Offense: S. Johnson/Glenn/Levitre/Wood/Urbik/Pears/Chandler/Nelson/D. Jones Fitzpatrick Jackson
  18. I would make a few possible changesto the game day 47: Offense (21) QB...(3) Fitz & Young & B. Smith (Smith can play QB & WR, which makes him valuable) RB...(3) Jackson, Spiller & Choice (Need 3 RBs; Choice is better than White) FB...(1) McIntyre (FB and great ST player) TE...(2) Chandler & L. Smith (Need 2 TEs) OT...(3) Glenn, Pears, Hairston (Best 3 OTs) OG...(3) Levitre, Urbik & Rinehart (Best 3 OGs) C...(1) Woods (UrbiK would be the backup OC) WR...(5) Johnson, Nelson, Easley, Jones, Graham (Best 5 WRs; Smith makes 6) Defense (23) DL...(8) M. Williams, Dareus, K.Williams, M. Anderson, Merriman, Kelsay, Sp. Johnson & Troup (Need 4 DTs for the 4-3; Johnson is better suited than Edwards & Carrington) LB...(6) Barnett, Morrison, Sheppard, Bradham, Carder, Moats (Moats can play OLB/DE and ST; rushes the passer too well to not keep him) CB...(5) Gilmore, Williams, McGee, Brooks, McKelvin (Rogers is the 6th best CB and one of the top 53) SS...(2) Wilson & Scott (Scott can also play coverage LB) FS...(2) Byrd & Searcy Special Teams (3) Punter... Moorman Kicker.. Lindell (can't afford Potter in top 47 just yet) Long Snapper... Sanborn
  19. What makes the Wildcat viable is having the threat of the pass. Without that, the defense will stack the LOS and stuff the play. It works because when the QB runs the ball he has more blockers compared to a conventional handoff to a RB/FB. Kordell Stewart ran a version of the Wildcat in his day and had a lot of success with it. I'm sure Gailey sees Young as a more athletic version of Stewart, call him "Slash2" if you will. Gailey/Lee will make the most of Young's ability. If Gailey can make Stewart successful he can certainly do the same with the big/stronger/faster Young who was a holy terror whenhe took off and ran the ball in college.
  20. Adding Young means that opposing teams will need to prepare for his great athetic skills, especially if the Bills use him in the Wildcat with both B. Smith and F. Jackson on the field. QB Coach Mark Lee invented the Wildcat and I'm sure he's going to dream up some surprise plays for oppsing teams to have to deal with now that he has athletes like Young, Smith, and Jackson to work with. Last year Gailey use Smith on a lot of third and short plays to get the all-important first down. Don't be surprised to see both Young and Smith come in together in similar situations to help us move the chains. Young is just too good of an athlete to have hold a clipboard all game long. Knowing that Gailey likes to use the Wildcat and now has Lee to help him scheme you just know that Young and Smith are going to see their fair share of the field. It's obvious to me that the Bills picked up Young to use in the Wildcat as well as be a veteran backup QB to Fitz. He is far more skilled than Thigpen, whose days are numbered as a Bill. I fully expect the Bills to keep Fitz/Young/Smith at QB and then possibly Tanney or Corp as their developmental QB. It's a big improvement at that position when compared to last year. We really need to keep Fitz healthy for the entire season to truly see how good he can be. I'd like to see the Bills acquire a big WR (Burress) and a good receiving TE (Shiancoe) to help Fitz really stand out this year.
  21. Nix is on a mission to improve the team this year. After the V. Young signing I think the Bills have quality starters and or good depth at QB/RB/FB/OT/OC/OG/DE/DT/CB/SS/FS/K/P/LS. Where they could still use some veteran help is at WR and at LB. These are the two positions I'd like to see them seek to fill next with a veteran player. There are some pretty good players available at WR and LB. They could use another TE as well. TEs available: B. Scaife/V. Shiancoe WRs available: P. Burress/B. Edwards/M. Sims-Walker LBs available: K. Brooking/N. Diggs/J. Farrior/J. Porter At TE we have Chandler and L. Smith and not much else. Chandler is a very good all-around player, but Smith appears to be a one dimensional blocker and not much of a receiver. I'd love to see the Bills give Shiancoe or Scaife a chance. At WR we have S. Johnson and a lot of guys with potential. What we're missing is a really big target, which would be really helpful for the red zone (i.e. the difference between scoring TDs vs FGs). Burress would fill that role well. AT LB we have Barnett, Sheppard, and Morrison penciled in as the starters with Carder, C. White, and Bradham as depth. We could really use another veteran player to compete for a starting spot. All four of the LBs that I've mentioned above are proven players, but which one fits the 4-3 the best and still has something left in the tank?? J. Porter played for Wannstedt in Miami and had 17.5 sacks one year. Would the Bills give him a shot?? My picks: WR: Burress LB: Porter TE: Shiancoe. Your thoughts??
  22. Hey, I resemble that remark. Truthfully though, it's been a long time since the Bills have spent more than $100M on FAs in one year, had a stellar draft, and are returning so many quality players from the previous year. Add in Wannstedt to run the defense to go with his buddy Gailey running the offense and things are looking pretty darn good. The Bills are better than the Dolphins and Jets on paper. They know they can beat the Pats, whom they beat last year. Of course, it will be the Pats who we will have to get past this year once again to get to where we want to be. I think there's a good chance that we can do it this year.
  23. It's been a long time coming, but it's finally time for the Bills to put it all together and make the playoffs. The offense was very strong and productive in 2011 until Fitz cracked his ribs vs Washington, Jackson broke his leg about halfway through the season, and Wood was lost at about the halfway point as well. If these three star players can stay on the field for all 16 games along with the great improvements that have been made to the defense I think that the good guys in red, white, and blue are finally looking at making the playoffs. The author in the attached link believes so as well: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1171886-five-reasons-the-buffalo-bills-will-make-the-playoffs-in-2012?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=buffalo-bills. The question is, do YOU believe??
  24. I agree that some of the players that I mentioned will not be on the final 53 man roster. I assume you're referring to guys like Tanney and Corp. I was amazed at how many actual players that had missed so much of last year once I started to put the list together.
  25. 2011 starting lineup 9:(for most of the year due to injuries): OFFENSE: Fitz Spiller S. Johnson Hagan Nelson Chandler Bell Levitre Urbik Rheinhart Pears DEFENSE: Edwards Dareus Carrington Sp. Johnson Barnett A. Davis Batten Florence McKelvin Searcy Byrd Special Teams: Moorman Sanborn Couto Projected 2012 starting lineup (as of 5-6-12): OFFENSE: Fitz Jackson Spiller S. Johnson Nelson Chandler Glenn Levitre Wood Urbik Pears DEFENSE: M. Williams K. Williams Dareus Merriman Barnett Sheppard Morrison A. Williams S. Gilmore Wilson Byrd Special Teams: Moorman Sanborn Lindell Note: The biggest improvements of course are on defense and on ST. Huge improvements have been made with the additions of M. Williams, K. Williams, Merriman, Gilmore, A. Williams, Wilson (for the entire year), Sheppard, and Morrison. Don't forget that Wannstedt is a wiley veteran coach who I expect will be a difference-maker as well. On offense, having Jackson and Spiller for the entire year will make a big difference. We will need for one or more of the WRs (Easley, Graham, Jones, Hagan, B. Smith) to step up for there to be any significant improvement on offense. Who will play LT?? Can Wood stay healthy for the entire year?? On ST, adding Brook, Carder, and Bradham can only help. UFA SS Howell is a ST deamon as well, who I really like.
