You know , although i have a great fondness for Stevie J & think he is a good player for the Bills when i look at other games & see some of the plays that other receivers make i can't help but think .. Is Stevie a true #1 ??? When you look at Megatron , or Welker & Gronk or Julio Jones , does Stevie compare in the respect of when it's crunch time & you need that catch is he the " GO TO GUY " ?? I think he is in B/lo but would he be in G- Bay or any Tampa or is it just our scheme that makes me think this way ?? Or do there QB's make them guys better ? Would a better QB make our own Stevie J the "#1" that we call him & get rid of the question i ask you other fans !! I know this has been talked about it in the past to a certain extent & i apologize for returning to it , but after seeing some of the other replays of the games this past week & the catches that were made the question just came back to me & i had to revisit it with you all ..

100 MILLION $$$ those players are expected to make a difference !! If it was an ankle to where he couldn't get the push or his back OK i'll give you that but a wrist ?? COME ON MAN -- excuses are like A holes everyone has one & usually they stink !!!! Tape that bad boy & play !!!!

The one huge thing in this loss is that the offense scored enough to win the game , sure the Spiller question is totally valid & i agree with it b/c cause if we had those points it would have helped . Even with those extra points from Spiller scoring we would have had what 31 , well i hate to tell you but when the D lets the Pats score 52 that would't have helped in anyway shape or form , we still would have lost !! My question is WHERE DID THE D GO TO IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE GAME ?????????? I don't care what team you are if your D gives up 52 points i will be willing to bet vital body parts that YOUR GONNA LOOSE !!!!!!!!!!!! Mario was a NONE FACTOR - Anderson was a NONE FACTOR - K Williams was the only one up front really doing any thing & he got fined for it . To run a smaller nickle package against those guys didn't work ! The D is going to have to play better & i think they will learn from this defeat ... I Hope !!!

This week our beloved Bills have a very big division game with the hated & sometimes feared Patriots , Wasn't it great last year when the guys finally beat them (praise god we got that monkey off of our backs) This year we go into that game with our top 2 backs hurt , along with 2 other players , my question to you all is , is this game (if you were Chan) worth so much you play the guys at the risk of doing more harm to them or do you make them sit one more week & cover with our depth players giving them more experience for a later run Or Possibly use them as a decoy of sorts no real hard work ? Can we beat the Pats with Choice & The Kid filling in ? Can The D win this game for us & afford the guys another week of healing to be 100% at SF ? Instead of them being 75% like Fred said .. Or something totally different ?? Well there you all go dig in i am looking forward to your coaching wisdom !! GO BILLS

First off i have not been on the site in a while so if this has already been talked about please excuse me !! But to all of you that were calling CJ a bust , i wonder just how many of you have jumped on the wagon since he has not only been leading the league in rushing but also in YPC . It wasn't all that long ago when you could come on here & there would be at least a couple of posts saying , "what a waste of a #9 pick he was" , & how Nix & company screwed up for getting CJ & letting Marshawn go . Well here's a famous quote from A country star "HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW" ?????? And if that isn't good enough here's one from a famous movie (insert dutch accent here "who is the deak head now" Well as i was saying i wonder just how many of you have the nads to admit that you were wrong or will you go in another direction "see i told you he wasn't a every down back he just can't hold up " BLAH BLAH BLAH !! What we should have been doing is getting one of the college QB's that had a great career , pick them up in the later rounds 3rd or later like Seattle did . Or instead of pissing away draft picks lie we did on Asper & Carder , take those 2 picks & move up in the draft to get a QB with a future or at least try !! Put something together that at least resembled what the Skins did . When you have guys coming out like RG3 which are franchise changing QB's you jump or you sit on the fence . We are still on the fence !! Don't get me wrong i have rooted for Fitz ever since he got the gig , he is a Bills type of guy , & i hope that this year with Lee helping him with his mechanics that he could do even better than last year and it's still to soon to tell . It is only one game & one game does not a season make !! We need a legit WR & a bit of patience as fans , which i know i will get killed for saying that but it's true . We have a new defensive coach & scheme , along with rookies & second year players on that squad . I think everything will turn out good . I would rather have them kick ass from the opening game but if this was a wake up call & they carry this through the season i'm all for it !! GO BILLS !!!!

Watching the game tonight i saw the # 11 but it wasn't Roscoe P , then i looked up available FA & it said the Raiders let him go .. Wouldn't that make a ton of sense from the Bills standpoint to bring him back ? He knows the offense , he's got speed , he should be healthy ,& he played in the slot . Plus Gailey liked him it's just that he couldn't stay healthy , in this situation it might be a smart move if he is out there . Has any one heard where or what Roscoe P is doing ??

I was hoping he would be a major player when Chan was hired . Especially seeing as he use to play for the Bills back in the 60's . It could be he pissed Ralph off , or it could have been he pissed off Nix while they were out in San Diego ? Which i think is probably more the case b/c Nix has been in charge since he's been here & that probably had a lot more to do with it than we will ever know !!!

No i don't Promo but when you sit back & watch a winning team do what they do wouldn't you think others just might pay attention ? Especially if said team has 3 SB's & has been winning for over a decade . I went & checked out the Pats site they cut 22 VETERANS & 1 - ONE draft pick . That tells me 1) that they believe in who they pick in the draft & want to try to develop them 2) they let the under achieving Vet's & one year under achievers go (such as Mcgee , Mckelvin , Edwards which we did) Then there is roster room to develop younger draft picks that were on a winning , championship like programs in college . If you want to change the mind set you first have to bring in players that are winners cut the hangers on & get younger & stronger while doing it . Keep the young vets , Woods , Levetrie , Byrd , Spiller , Hairiston & so on , those that show upside , get rid of those that are not contributing to the betterment of the team or aren't playing up to par such as Mcgee , B .Smith & give Brooks & other rookies that have shown something or Carder & Asper the chance to develop rather than just trash a pick .. Another thing is just look around the league at all the EX Bills players that have added to winning organizations thay we either let go or let get away that have & will contribute for a team Poz , Whitner , Leonard even (yes i'm going to say it which kills me ) Maybin & that should at least send up some kind of flag - red , purple, blue i don't care the color but start changing something in that respect ???

Please tell me that your not blind enough to see that those 2 picks could have been used to better the team & if Carder becomes a starter for the Browns as it has been said by a reporter in Cleveland that just fortifies this post even more . My question is - Do you gamble & use the picks to move up & get a player that you will keep (which we all know isn't Buddies style) or use the picks & get players to later just let them go to another team with no nothing in return ?? Draft picks are to valuable these days to waste them !! My reason for this post is b/c 2 more Bills draft picks have went to the way side . Our recent history has been less than stellar in this regard !! Mark Asper & Tank Carder never even cleared the waiver wire & they were scooped up by other teams , which goes to show that we had the right idea as far as drafting them . But why wouldn't you cut a lower profile player or something or just deal your draft picks to move up & grab a sure thing , get at least one good player for the picks rather than just seemingly waste the pick ? Again - Draft picks are to valuable !! I know Buddies not a gambler when it comes to draft picks but DAM when you make a mistake learn from it then it's not a waste of time or draft picks !!! Gamble & use the picks to move up rather than just wasting them !! I know i've not got the history in the NFL that some of these so called professional football people have & i get what they were trying to do by trying to get them on the practice squad , but by doing that we have wasted 2 more draft picks . And seeing that even the greatly hated 1st round bust that is Arron Maybin is now putting up stats on another team along with all the other lost picks the last 5 years is screaming something . Maybin ?? Anderson ?? Is there a difference ? We'll see !!

This guy was a big mouth from the time he hit the league ! He thought b/c his daddy was great that he was in turn going to be the same & charma bit him in the ass from day one !! I hate to see any player get hurt but this guy in the ego department makes prime time & T.O look like choir boys & at least they backed up their big ego'd out mouths with a good careers . This guy i hope is all done and for some reason i don't think that that will even humble this jerk !! It's funny how time makes people forget how much of a jack ass a guy is !!

Freddy J Or Cj can be as good a wild cat QB as Smith & have done it not to mention Tavaris Jackson being a QB that can run as good or better than Smith could be the wild cat guy & has a more legit arm & hell Brian Mormon has thrown more TD passes than Smith !! Plus by doing any one of these moves especially using T Jack as the wildcat QB you would still cover all 3 positions that Smith can do for less money & bring along a player that we have already invested 2 years in keeping him on the team to see if he is infact that player that we wanted him to be . And i would say by the last game we all saw that the guy has the speed to be a good kick returner & give us more depth at WR !! Then there is Mcgee the guy is good but he can't stay healthy , i say this should be his last chance if he comes back & is anything but 100% or gets hurt again he should be gone immediately !!!

I always thought Bell would be a really good NFL player !! All the best to him !!! I hope he can stick & prove himself worthy to play in this league !!!!

I just read another post on another Bills site with the same content & i seem to agree !! With roster spots on the line & today being the cut day with all the young talent we have invested in draft picks that could be developed , I really don't see all the hipe for Brad Smith , especially for the money . What has he really done since he's been here ? Sure he made a couple of good catches last year b/c we needed a WR desperately but other than that his wildcat thing didn't prove much to me & there are others on the team with as good return skills as him . Heck Brian Mormon throws a better pass than he does & he has more TD passes than Smith . I personally would not waste the money or the roster spot on the guy when as i read in the other post & tend to agree that Freddy . J or C.J would be a better wild cat option & have shown it . Or for all that matters our new back up QB T Jack ... But i was just wondering what the rest of Bills nation think of what they have seen from the man that is the all purpose Mr. Smith ??
