If you watched the post game interview of CJ & then if you read the Jarius Byrd interview last week it just makes me wonder how long it will take either guy to jump the next train out of town if something isn't done about the coaching or at least the play calling . These are the guys we are suppose to be building the team around , if they are not happy how do we expect to keep them ? Not to mention sure Fred is great but if he is hitting the injury wall which this year he's had 2 take him out of games we need to ride the young horse & use Fred in a way to keep him heathier longer .. Buddy & company need to look at the way things have been being done & either learn from it & change those practices or find some one that won't make those same type of mistakes before we lose the best players on the team ...

For the past 3 + years there has been more complaining about a guy on our team that has done nothing but show up to work & be the consummate team player & a leader his entire career . This week he was put on IR , could this be the perfect opportunity for the Bills to make a lot of you fans happy by ending his Bills career ? I am talking about Chris Kelsay . With the play of A. Moats at DE position recently getting pressure, the fact that Anderson coming back & having a multi year contract, Merriman being healthy & contributing, plus the fact that Alex Carrington although playing DT position was drafted as a 4/3 DE , & that IF Troup comes back healthy Carrington could play the DE position in a depth role or starter if needed . What it is i am asking is would you bring Kelsay back for an 11th year, or do you think the Bills will bring Merriman back (which is the younger of the 2) let Kelsay go ? Or do you think we will move on & bring in some younger talent to replace Kelsay & Merriman both with younger guys ? Buddy is building through the draft . And although Kelsay has had an effect with his leadership this year & his play . He has a couple of sacks & adds pressure while on the field but is it time to call it a career ?

I did question his play in the preseason but i also questioned us playing him out of his natural position which was DE in college . That was the reason we drafted him, but they changed scheme to 3/4 & then the LB experiment (go figure that one) & that is what lead to his bad play the guy has been out of position pretty much ever since we signed him ... I can only imagine him at about 290 at DE opposite of Mario ...

Which makes a ton of sense doesn't it ?? I don't get some of the thinking of this coaching staff , the guy has been on the team now for 3 years , sure he hasn't played but they said he has been in all the offensive meetings to stay up on the scheme , so if he knows the offense that well why not give him a shot in a game where there was such a comfortable lead ?? He will be let go & after investing all that time in him he will become one of the leagues top #1 or #2 receivers that's just how we roll in B/lo !!

I totally agree with your post Philly fans are some of the most ungrateful bunch of fans i have ever seen or heard of , they should be a lot more understanding of what Reid is going through but it's all about them & screw everybody else ..

WHAT THE H*LL ARE YOU SMOKING ?? This guy as with most all of the recent QB's that have come out of USC are mediocre at best NO NO & NO we need to get our own QB preferably from the SEC T . WIlson , Bray any one but a USC or california QB !! Remember the last california QB we had HE SUCKED !! Again , NO NO & HELL NO !!!! Besides with Alex Smith , Mike Vick & Matt Moore possibly being available at the end of this year why pull that trigger & what makes Braylon Edwards a great evaluator of QB talent ??

Did any of you all read the article on bb.com that Jarius Byrd had said that he was open to the idea of staying in B/lo , but was excited about the idea of free agency , but they had to win ... If they don't get this guy signed before the end of the year he is history , if he even gets a sniff of FA or if another team say like New Orleans or New England , a team with a winning record this guy will make Usain Bolt look foolish in the 400 he will be trying to get out of B/lo so fast .. i hope we don't lose him but i can see the same thing that happened to Poz happening with him , if we still had Poz in the middle i think our D would be even better but with out him we have what we have , & if Byrd goes that will be the one step forward 3 steps back thing all over again !!!

Well when the coach has blinders on to the players he thinks are top of the group what do we expect ? Easley needs to be put on the field & given a chance , like Jones . I have never seen what Gailey has seen in this guy i guess only he can see the good in these players ?? Players that he insists are good players Fitz , Jones , Fred over CJ , Dickerson , Martin , Mcintyre , Sheppard , Moats , these all but Fred are second rate players that could be replaced on our team yet we let guys like Carder & others go that we used draft picks on so we wasted draft picks to keep others that are still doing nothing ... I think i will become an NFL HC -- WHY NOT ??

I suggest a good read if you like tying things such as the past & the future together .. If you google Where Are They Now : Marv Levy , you will find a good article about the Bills former coach & how he made it to the NFL through the CFL . I have been a strong proponent to look to the CFL for our coach even when we were looking before the hiring of coach Gailey & the person i was & am still very high on is Marc Trestman a now CFL coach , that in his short time as a HC in the CFL has a higher winning percentage than one Marv Levy at 59 & 31 . In this article that i am talking about it tells how Levy & Trestmans paths crossed while both were in the NFL . Which if you look at the way both of their respective career paths have went just makes me want Trestman even more . Another + would be bringing him over from the CFL would only boost the connection between the Bills & the canadian fans of the Bills which would play right into what Brandon is trying to do with the regionalization of the Bills ----- WIN - WIN !!!! We all know by now that it's a bit to late to worry about the post season & all but the big thing that i wonder is what does it take to piss Chan off enough to start making some noise at his players ? A few weeks back it was the players have to be accountable to each other , Stevie J says something this week about the play calling & Chan again says it's just Stevie being Stevie ... I for sure don't think that Gruden , Harbaugh , or The Chin (Cohwer) would be that dam laid back that's for sure .. I just hope who ever we get as a head coach next , even if it is Chan that he get's sick of this losing thing & get's a bit of attitude in him . Maybe just maybe it will brush off on his team !!

I did notice Marcel looked a bit heavier this year than last , but on the bright side if the team keeps playing the way they are we will have another high draft pick next year !!!

Since the Bills brought Merriman back & Anderson & Kelsay went down they have had to put Moore & Merriman in the line up to get more snaps & last week it showed the 2 have made a difference . I thought Merriman was brought back as an insurance policy or a player to fill the void until Anderson came back & then would be cut , but so far i think he is playing better than Anderson was , If he continues this week to get better with increased reps i think the 2 should stay where they are . Kelsay may get some reps this week but i would bring him in slow if for nothing else to see if the new tandem continues to do better than the others did & if so the needed boost in our D to get to the playoffs may be welcome not to say needed . Then there is the deal when Anderson does come back who will be let go if that is something that will need to be done ? If these guys are doing better than the starters were who do you keep who do you sit ?? What do you all think ??

With the O lines that we have had in the past a Rookie would wind up just like JP or Trent . I think that both of those guys had a good skill set & the smarts , JP was doomed from day one with the coaching changes & the terrible line play on offense . We now have a good line (that we need to keep together) & if you put a Tyler Wilson , Geno Smith , Bray or some one with a good skill set they will be more apt to succeed .

Harbaugh got him for a reason & if continues to show what he has there is a good possibility that we would have a better chance at going after Smith . The upside on the kid is much more & he was a Harbaugh pick , Smith was left overs , if he wants to continue on the path he has started he may decide after seeing what the kid has and can do changing next year he might put him as the starter & Smith would probably want to be traded . Thats more of what we will probably be looking at !!

Now that he had that surgery i hope he will continue & we keep his snap count up & he just continues to get back into it comfort wise . The guy is a motivator just by the way he does things & his reputation . He is a great add i would love to see if he could be a LB again ?? Just give him a shot you never know with out trying ...

We need to look to the future not to a bandage for 2 or 3 years , Rivers is a good QB but it would be about the same as when we brought Bledsoe in .. Rivers is good but it won't be long or even now could be starting on the down side of his career , so lets do our home work & get a guy that is going to be here for 10 or so years not 2 or 3 .. Plus it will be cheaper with the way the new CBA has the rookie pay scale, Rivers will be asking a ton to move ..

JUST STOP IT MAN !! The guys time has come he needs to retire period !! If they want to keep him around in a coaching position is one thing but as a player COME ON MAN !!!! You are starting to sound like Gailey the guy is done & if he is brought back who ever makes that decision needs to loser their job !! I give the guy props for what he gave the team & he was one of the better ones that have been on the team , that being said the guy has taken a roster spot away from another possible player that could have given something to the team other than taking up space .. The NFL is a harsh reality when a players time comes to bow out gracefully & this should be Mcgees swan song just leave quietly , if he wants to come back to retire a Bill thats cool but his time is long over due !!!! Thanks T.M. for all you did for the Bills you will be remembered as a good player for the franchise SEE YA !!!!!!

Why does he throw it on 3rd & 1 when inside the 10 with a RB that averages 7.3 YPC ??? Go Figure !!

Fitz is ranked as the #22 QB in the NFL this year with a total QBR rating of 48.1 which isn't all that great . But if you consider some of the posts on here that say we need to get Vick he is on the bottom of the QBR , so is Cam Newton , Bradford , Kolb , & many others that we all thought we would be a better team if we would go after any of these guys .. Go to ESPN & you can see the entire list top to bottom & it may surprise a lot of you that wanted us to go & get other QB's that were thought to be better than our own Fitz ...
