I’m actually at the base clinic getting treatment for the Tuberculosis that I got while evacuating Afghanistan refugees. Despite the fact of not being able to breathe/lung issues and fatigue over there last 6 months while doing the treatment, I still have to do a PT test and perform my job as the head mechanic at my unit. But I guess since I’m not being paid $17M a year, I don’t get that special treatment of waiting until my treatment is over and I’m ready to mentally perform my duties before I have to put my lungs through the stress of exercising and conducting my manual labor job.

I think this is 100% on trust. My issue with it is that trust is all on the coaching staff. At some point the coaching staff is going to have to trust their players like they trust Josh Allen. There is no way that Hines can't figure out his assignments as a vet in this league. If the coaching staff can't figure things out, our SB window is going to start closing.

We can't find out if he is if he doesn't play. I don't think anybody is saying throw him in and he plays 50-60 snaps. What I am saying is get him out there for 10-15 snaps just so he gets comfortable and gets his reaction time back up to speed for games. Must be nice to be medically cleared to play but you get to decide when you want to play. I wish in my job I could be medically cleared and not have to perform in my physically demanding job.

While I understand what you're saying, a "not bad defense" isn't why the team were Super Bowl favorites. They are/were favorites because they dominate on both sides of the field. I think they're fine for now, but I get what the OP is saying. If the defense plays like they did the last few weeks with Allen out, we could be in for a long rest of the year until Allen comes back.

If Barkley has to play, we are screwed.
