Are Bills fans expectations too high????
BillyBilliams replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can understand them being bored. I was too. I found myself playing phone games in the second half when I seen Green Bay were just gonna kill the clock. -
The Jets literally cannot score. Wilson threw his first TD pass in 4 games in this loss. That's an entire month of no touchdown passes.

Exactly. I think they can beat the Pats, Lions, Bears and maybe Jags. That's it. So ceiling is 9 wins.

Defense vs Green Bay and their performance
BillyBilliams replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
They stayed in Nickel and didn't put 3 linebackers on the field. That's why the running game was successful (as well as the missed tackles). They defended against the pass up 17, and the Packers effectively played the game like they were up 17. -
Just because they are 5-3 doesn't make them good. Bills will beat up the Jets. Jets will drop to 5-4 and we'll start to see them even out. Schedule hasn't been overly tough. I think they'll win 2-3 more games the rest of the year.

I know that won't happen, but you can still expect them to. You can't realistically believe they're going to play perfect and fire on all cylinders for 20 games. However, we all know their capabilities and we can expect them to win every game they play, and rather convincingly. Expectations is different than reality -

Because Kansas City is a rushing juggernaut that we need to watch out for. Nothing says we're scared like CEH just pounding us. -

My expectations are high. I expect them to dominate every game they play. I expect them to win the Super Bowl. People who don't have expectations too high are scared of the pressure and the negative blowback if it doesn't happen. -
I'm not "rooting" but I'd like the Patriots to win. Not because I want to have a cushion for the division lead. I want the Patriots to continue to get that mediocre 7-10 or 8-9 record so they are in QB purgatory for the next 2 decades.

Bills release new stadium renderings

Looks like the 100 levels are covered. I like it 😆 -

The canopy could extend to the point where the field is the one exposed TBH. There are a lot of soccer stadiums in Europe that does that. -

I'm kind of in agreement with a lot of the people posting in here. It seems to me like the upper seats will be the ones protected, while the 100 level seats will be exposed to the rain/snow/etc. Which to me is kind of weird, considering the 100 level is going to be more expensive. The plaza looks phenomenal though. -
Stadium Renderings are here!!!

Magic pixie dust must have ran out. With out getting another warning, that's going to be my answer. -
Just too late to suspend him for the Bills and 49ers, but right on time to suspend him for the vaunted Titans and Jaguars. Chiefs defense are in for a world of hurt against those offenses.

I'll be getting rid of DTV as well. I'm paying $280 a month for the service because I'm not on a contract. I don't use it hardly at all. I'll probably just get a cheap cable package bundled with my internet, and that will be the end of it. I'll buy whatever streaming service that picks up Sunday Ticket.

I don't really care if they run Singletary to the ground. This is his last year on his rookie deal. After that, he's not going to be worth it for us to keep. Run one of the most under-utilized backs "to the ground" and give Cook some touches so we can "run him into the ground" for 4 years at the Rookie deal. Rinse and repeat.

I actually thought about driving up to the game to watch it. I'm in Tucson and 100 level seats were going for like $95 last time I checked this morning.

If you could only have 1 (Beckham or McCaffrey)
BillyBilliams replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall
We don't need either right now. We need either or for Jan/Feb. So I'm ok with OBJ not being ready right now, as long as he's ready for the playoffs. -

You should NEVER say no to make your team plush with elite talent. The more elite talent you have, the better chance you have at being a super bowl champion. -

Godwin tore his ACL late December and has played all year so far (despite the few games he was out with a hamstring). All injuries and recoveries are not mutually exclusive. Tre is taking his time because he knows he has the luxury to. I firmly believe if we were hurting at CB, he would be here by now. -

I'm going with OBJ. With the "Who you'd rather have" you also have to look at implications. Right now, they can pay CMC because it's like $1M pro rated on the cap this year, but it then balloons to $19.550M and carries a dead cap of $18.352M. So you're going to have to cut/trade him, and it's going to press us even more on the cap. This means no Tremaine Edmunds and no Jordan Poyer (maybe we'll squeeze one by kicking the can down the road, but someone's going). This also doesn't include the capital we have to give up. When a team is this good and has this many players that cost a ton, you have to have draft picks and cost controlled rosters to keep the shelves stocked. By signing OBJ, you don't give up any capital, and you're only relying on cap purposes. If he wants to play here, sign him to a deal that doesn't include us having to cut/restructure. Then, after the year, you can choose to let him go. Production wise, I'm going with OBJ. I can live with Singletary/Cook in the backfield. We seen with Davis hurt, it affects the passing game a lot. Add another explosive weapon and teams won't know how to handle the Bills passing game even more than it already is. Who are you going to double team? It would be a choose your poison. -
PFF grades from KC...(for what they're worth)
BillyBilliams replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm assuming Kelce's big game is why Milano was graded so low. That shouldn't be on him. But man, that open field tackle he made was elite. If he doesn't make that tackle, that's 6 points for KC. McKenzie is a veteran. Shakir and Cook are rookies learning to play in the league. McKenzie is on this team because he's supposed to be reliable. Him making drive killing mistakes isn't someone you'd think you can rely on. I expect Cook and Shakir to make those mistakes, not someone that's been here for 5 years.
