Tie goes to the offense. Besides to me it looks like the UB receiver caught it before the ball was fought over. In the end zone, once possession is established it's a touchdown. You can't rip the ball away.

I don’t think there was enough possession for there to be a tie and the defender had the ball at the end. It was moving all the way to the ground and it looks like the defender had the ball then the RB grabbed at it after.

The only way the defender would have controlled the ball enough for an INT, would have been when the UB defender is turned to the other side, and by that time, the defender is already out of bounds.

It’s possible they were OOB when they gained possession. The angles weren’t great.

Bowl eligible in 10 weeks. Well done.

I really think the game winning touchdown was actually an INT but there wasn’t enough to overturn. Looks like the RB didn’t control the ball and the defender took it from him.

It’s just puzzling that the Bills couldn’t get him on the field and take shots down the field with this guy.

They did take shots. Josh missed him.

Defenses play our offense a lot differently from how they play the Saints. Against the Saints they're playing closer to the LoS to make sure Kamara doesn't take over the game. Against us they are hanging back making sure Allen doesn't beat them deep... MVS couldn't produce with us for the same reason he couldn't produce with the Chiefs. He runs basically one route and it's the one route defenses are selling out to stop when they play Allen and Mahomes.

He was getting open deep a decent amount. Josh would over throw him.

Reason I ask is because my wife would wait after games at Abbott Rd. and Milestrip. It’s a 20 minute walk from the stadium, no sidewalk but, lawns are wide and loads of Bills fans are walking on them back to the lots along Abbott. Only drawback was snow, lawns be covered, plow hills, then it’s a definite safety concern.

I’ve done the walk to and from target a bunch. It’s sketchy for sure. Like you said no sidewalks most of the way and with snow makes it even worse. I’d walk up a hill to the lot to cut off walking all the way to the light. Fell a few times in the snow.  But if you don’t want to go to the Uber lot I feel that’s your best option.

If you’re close to the stadium they’ll send you to the Uber lot. Once you get a little farther out they’ll be stuck in traffic or in able to get down certain roads. Target plaza parking lot I feel gives the driver a clear way to you and you should be far enough away where they won’t make you go to the lot. I’ve driven Uber after games when I parked at target and picked up passengers from there. But yes it is a hike and can be dangerous. So be careful and pay attention.

So there is a roster spot available.  Normally I’d think Ankou would get elevated and given a roster spot but they already signed Phillips and Jefferson

It’s not Jackson.  He’s never been activated once

So he wouldn’t have a problem filling in for Edwards not being active.

or how about those quick slants that Josh was throwing to Coleman.  Samuel should be able to use his speed to get open on that.

He needs his toe/foot to get healthy first if you want his speed to be used.

I don't have an explanation for Samuel's ineffectiveness but based on the video of his highlights from last year, I highly doubt he's washed.

The 2023 video shows an obviously athletic player with explosive burst.

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. The explanation is he has an injury. If you can’t push off of your foot the way you want how explosive can you really be?

I'm surprised with how little movement overall around the league.  Pretty anticlimactic.

I was surprised by how much there was. Out side of the last couple years the NFL trade deadline is usually nothing.

Just play the guy at WR. Stop trying to make him some Swiss Army knife. We have 3 good RBs and good TEs…we need him to just be a regular WR

They need to let him get healthy before doing anything.

    The Coleman INT changed everything.

Na I think the phantom holds made a bigger impact.

They both took points off but Coleman took more points off as it should have been an easy TD. I could be miss remembering but did the dolphins score coming off the INT? If they did that’s a big swing.  The holds they still kicked a FG.

Yup, it has nothing to do with "not being able to stop the run".

They simply are willing to give up runs sometimes and believe they will make enough disruptive plays to force 3rd and longs and take advantage of teams that aren't patient enough to keep doing it to prevent deep throws and maintain their two high shells.

I mean they just held the Seahawks to 32 yards rushing last week and their RBs combined for 12 carries for 16 yards.

Do we really have memories this short?

No we have longer memories than just last week. The ravens ran all over them. The Bills get gashed by the run a decent amount. Especially if teams can also throw the ball. Against the Seahawks they didn’t have any wrs that scared anyone and they could sell out to stop the run.

I think there is a lot more going on with Samuel than meets the eye.   I don't know if it's the injury, an inability to understand the offense or what but the bottom line is the guy can't catch passes thay aren't thrown to him

There were times he was split wide to one side of the field and they went 2 or 3 wide to the opposite side of the field.  When Josh took his progressions his head didn't even make it to Samuel's side of the field.

Kind of a tough situation to be in because he makes 9 million next year and it includes nearly 8 million in dead money if they release him.

They do half field reads a decent amount and Josh sometimes has issues locking on receivers.

I was also expecting him to have much bigger role in this offense with his experience. Not sure what is going on we will need him even more now with Keon possibly out.

I don’t understand how so many people don’t understand what’s going on. He has turf toe that is lingering because it hasn’t been given time to properly heal.

Have you ever injured your toes? It’s not easy to run, stop and change direction. Things that’re important for a WR to be able to do.

7 hours ago, Bookie Man said:

If he can't run a jet sweep, he shouldn't be on the field.

This is what people who understand that turf toe injuries can linger if not properly rested and healed have been saying since the injury happened. But the Bills didn’t have any receiver to take his place and had him play through it. He shouldn’t have been dressed yesterday but Cooper was hurt and they again didn’t have someone that could take his place.
