13 & 3 in 2022 - 11 & 6 in 2023 - plus each of those years was a AFC Championship yah it sucked .
The bills have been to one AFC championship game recently, they didn’t win and it wasn’t either of those years.

This year we lead the NFL in penalties. The previous 6 years we've been one of the 6 worst penalized teams. How is that discipline? Harbaugh's not tolerating that type of play.
McDermott has exactly 2 game plans every week. 1) play zone all game, especially in the 4th quarter. 2) Ask Josh to heroically win the game late only to have your zone D blow the game. That's McDermott's idea of discipline.
49ers under Harbaugh were top 10 in most penalties 3/4 years and 12th the other year.

It’s just really weird to me why adults get all bent out of shape because someone doesn’t want to talk to the media. The same media that has made up lies about them for the past year. Most of the stuff that’s said is just coach speak that says nothing or what they already saw anyway.

I think people are upset with Diggs behavior at the end of this season, because of his behavior at the end of last season. He had no problem being outspoken last year, why disappear now?
He didn’t say anything last year either.

I expect leadership from a Captain. Not pathetic performances and being a coward
Leadership = talking to media that has made up bull#### about you all year? What’s cowardly and pathetic is running to a message board to talk trash about another person that you don’t know and are clearly wrong about.

Why do you care if he talks to the media? Does Diggs come harass you when you have a bad day at work or don’t feel like talking to people?

Lol, than he shouldn't have used Klein, no? Was there or was there not other options, players, game plan etc, he's the defensive mastermind right?
In past games against the chefs they used Neal to cover kelce. One game he was pretty good another iirc he got called for a bunch of penalties, some questionable and Kelce had better day. Why wait until the second half to use Neal when it was clear Klein was struggling early in the game. There was a few things McDermott could have changed earlier to slow them down but he briefly tried Williams and that was it for a while.

The decision to go for that play is on McDermott. But A LOT of critique here is on HOW the play was run. McDermott coaches the ST now? He sets up the formations and assignments in ST? Thats news to...well...literally everyone.
Are we going to blame McD for Billy Buffalo not getting his suit drycleaned before the game now? Can we PLEASE keep the arrows aimed at McD to the ones he actually has responsibility for taking?
He’s the head coach. The entire team is his responsibility.

Sorry if this has been posted
Had to listen the 2nd quarter on radio
On the Bills first punt of the game Mayock clearly hints that he expects a fake from the Bills
first question - wth would we tip off a media personality?
second question - why would Mayock open his mouth, any Chiefs affiliate personal listening would have a chance to relay this info, no?
If you understand what you’re looking at you can tell when something is different. Theres a decent amount of the Bills offensive plays that I can call out what’s gonna happen just by looking at the formation, how players line up and the motion.

Depending on how his medicals look, I'd offer him something like a 3yr/$18M with $10M guaranteed. Might be worth bringing him back as a $6M guy who can be easily cut. Definitely not at his current $16M price tho.
Idk if I do that. I love him as a person and the player he was but at his age with his injuries I move on.
Also who wants to listen to half the board lose their mind when he comes back and takes time to get back to normal if he can even get back there. Von is pretty much on a normal timeline and people are losing their minds.

What do the Bills do with Tre'Davious White?
Has to be let go with his cap hit. Idk how it works with injury maybe injury settlement. But you can’t keep him at that number with his injuries.

They threw 16 (16!) passes behind the LOS and only attempted a half dozen past 10 yards. It was cowardly.
Have you paid attention to the receivers this year? Apparently not.

There was no way Diggs was getting the first down on that play. Assuming the pass is accurate with the blow from Dawkins, and assuming Diggs actually catches it, that option was getting 4 or 5 yards max. They would still be facing a 3rd and medium while trying to preserve a FG attempt.
There wouldn’t have been a blow from Dawkins as the ball would have been out earlier and it was getting 5 yards minimum. Mcduffie peeled off but there was room to run. If diggs puts his foot in ground and goes straight upfield contact would have been made at about 5 yards from LOS, Diggs has broken or avoided a decent amount of tackles this year. If he sprints to sideline he possibly gets the first or more.

That was the 14th play of the drive. That’s an eternity by NFL standards.
Taking the score there is fine.Otherwise we’re saying “you know what the Bills really needed? A 20 play drive” that’s just not reasonable.
They marched up and down the field on the chefs most of the game. Another 2-3 plays is unreasonable?

I have no problem with taking a shot to a WIDE OPEN receiver in the end zone in this situation. Especially on 2nd down.
people arguing the check down to Diggs are really arguing they want to milk the clock and settle for overtime. That’s the mentality. Milk the clock, play conservative and kick a 28 yard Fg after going ultra conservative in the red zone after picking up the first down to Diggs.
so play for overtime. A loser mentality.
The mentality is drain the clock as much as you can and score a TD with little to no time left for the chefs to score. So a pretty much a redo of 13 seconds but they need a TD not a FG. If you don’t get the td you still have chance at the tie on a shorter FG for your struggling kicker with little to no time left.
We see where the way you wanted got us. A loss. So wouldn’t that be a losers mentality? -

6 games and 58 mins of this game he check downs but the last 2 mins of the most important game you're saying he got sugar high josh and decided nah, running the clock isn't my gig i want the tuddy? sorry i don't believe that's what happened at all.
Cool. So what do you believe? Aliens did it? Cigarette smoking man was on sidelines? Adam Sandler?

I think he got hit but I still don't disagree.
My main point was I would have used Allen's legs the rest of the way. It was successful all game.
And yes Josh could have just run it himself.
I think the inability for the defensive line to get an ounce of pressure on Mahomes and the Diggs/Sherfield drops cost us the game so I don't want to put too much on those last 3 playcalls.
He did get hit a little as he was making the throw.

i watched it for over an hour AFTER THE GAME rewinding it, cannot be explained. scoring the TD doesn't win the game so either the coaches or Josh decided to try and not win the game... it's not complicated. 1st down wins at worst ties the game... but instead do everything except that.
inexplicable
What are you carrying on about? You saw what happened. You watched it for hours but still here asking what happened. You saw it. I’m going to put it on Josh because he makes the final decision on where the ball goes and I highly doubt Brady was in his ear before the mic turned off to throw it to the end zone. Josh has shown time and time again that he makes idiotic decisions with the ball at times. Why there’s the phrase Sugar rush Josh. Hero ball is thrown around(I don’t think that throw was a hero ball, just not the correct read) it happens and we all wonder what he was thinking. Then he makes an amazing throw and we forget all about it.

Once we got to the 2 minute warning (and the play before), the only play I may have called was a Josh run. Worst case scenario is it drains clock and/or forces the chiefs to use a timeout and gives Bass a shorter field goal. Best case wss he continued having success and drained the clock leading to a game winning TD.
Or I throw a simple short route to Kincaid
Joe Brady called a great game but I didn't love the last 3 plays
Joe Brady called a play that had multiple open receivers. Josh chose the wrong throw.

the goal there is to get a 1st down, like who on the football planet of earth doesn't know the goal is to get a 1st down???? you likely do not win the game if you score a TD with more than 10 seconds on the clock, cause the defense has to be accepted as inadequate so you run the clock out that's all there is to it and they literally did all of the wrong possible things lol. make me believe it.
Make you believe what? That Josh makes poor decisions at times? You shouldn’t need someone to make you believe that. Your eyes should see it every season. He’s inconsistent with decision making and has been most of his career. He will have amazing stretches of play along with boneheaded decisions.

Though do you take the TD when the opportunity presents itself, rather than check down because there might be a chance on the next set of downs?I don’t know. I feel Josh carried the Bills all night and am split whether he let us down in the end. Can see the arguments from both sides.
Can be both. He did carry us but he also did make some poor decisions. I don’t put the loss on him though. This was a team loss.

I do not.
Bass manned up and spoke to the media. Diggs dissapeared during playoffs, then ducked the media

Who was he showing up on the sidelines?
