There's been a lot of stories about hertel. Most haven't been true. Not 100% sure about the bodies but I've been walking up and down a lot of hertel(I live on the street) since the start of the storm and didn't see anything like that. There were a lot of claims and posts that the Sunoco gas station and the dollar general across the street on hertel were looted. People we're saying they both were boarded up and they saw people running out with stuff. Well both stores were intact and employees confirmed nothing even close happened. The front loaders and plows have been cleaning up hertel since 5 am. They're doing a great job making sure not to block driveways. There was a 20' pile on both sides of driveway last night now they're gone.

He's out partying with Benny the Butcher every night.

Because of that thing that I get a week ban for if I mention it but others freely discuss it with no punishment limited the pool of potential buyers. Re-sale? Was on site when they went on sale and they were face value from the team. Got kicked and had to wait in line again. They were still the same price.

The looting is crazy. Couple reports in north buffalo about people breaking into homes.

Those vehicles are a lot newer than 1977. The cars would be huge boxy boats if they were made before the late 80s. And the semis didn't look like that back then. This looks exactly like my street right now. Bunch of cars stuck and a path through the middle of them.

Then there's WIVB taking pics and doing stories about the people stuck in front of their station and telling them nope can't come in stay in your cars. They may have let people in after people started calling them out

We've definitely had more snow than 22 inches in a day. Multiple times. And when did it rain that hard? It was a very light rain for a short period of time at best. This seems like one of these all time football records that are set every game every week.

I really feel these records are bull. It hardly rained before the storm and we've gotten a lot more snow in 24 hours.

That's the only way to describe it. It sounded like we were sleeping in a tornado all night. House making all types of noises. I don't think the wind slowed down once.
