Idk much about punting mechanics so this is just a guess but I feel it takes a while to change muscle memory and have it down enough to keep it under pressure. I hope he does get it down and improves his accuracy so they’re not touchbacks.

Kupp is in the slot 66% of the time. So Taron will be matched up with him a lot.

If he can keep that hang time consistently it will improve his chances of making the team

Only once they asked if I was a certain player and it was Josh Reed. That was prob the biggest crowd I've gotten. Prob 50+ people. My grandparents thought it was hilarious. I look absolutely nothing like him. They usually ask if I'm a professional athlete or if I play football. I'll never say yes but sometimes I'll laugh and change the subject. That seems to convince them somehow that I am a Bills player. My brother looks more like an athlete than I do and people would ask him who I was. Philly airport I got it pretty good. Crowds stayed at a distance but were def talking and telling everyone that walked by that I was a football player. Getting on the flight 5-6 people asked for pictures. Guy sitting next to me was real excited to be able to talk to me. I took a sleeping pill and was out until we were landing in Vegas. When I woke up he couldn't contain himself and was asking questions a mile a min. Now that I think of it there's prob pics somewhere of him taking selfies with me while sleeping

It stopped being funny a while ago but a few times a year I'm stopped and asked for pics or autographs when I wear bills stuff. The airport it happens the most followed by other sporting events. I just laugh and take the pic. I'll only sign something if it's just a random thing with no value.

I have many times. My friends and I were bored and debating running backs not that long ago. We watched every carry for the top 15 backs on rushing list.

Why was he the third punter drafted if he's such a hot commodity? There's reasons why he wasn't the first. He doesn't do the things good punters do yet. Yes he has a cannon for a leg but if you out kick the coverage with no hang time you're giving the returner a ton of room to operate. If you take too long to get the ball off chances it gets blocked or shanked goes up. Theres big problems that he needs to fix. There's also the FG holding that he hasn't done until the pros. I think it can be learned but what if he's inconsistent? Haack has been much better than him so far in OTAs. I hope he improves but I don't see him fixing his issues before the season starts and I don't want to go into season with a punter that is a risk to have a lot of kicks returned for big yardage. Tbh I want to cut haack and get someone better. If we weren't super bowl contenders and the AFC wasn't loaded I'd be ok with dealing with his ups and downs but this season is too important.

I agree. I think he needs a year to work on some things. He can boot it far but he out kicks coverage units. He needs to fix his get off time, hang time and accuracy. He's kind of Bojo at the moment.
