  1. Position coaches can leave to become a coordinator it is a promotion We run more of a 3-4 than a 4-3 so why would we flip flop for the 4th time in 5 years. We also have been drafting for a 3-4. We have the perfect personell to run a wade phillips defense.http://www.battleredblog.com/2011/1/4/1913068/thats-so-crazy-it-just-might-work-examining-wade-phillips-3-4-scheme
  2. Mario played a ton of olb this past season and wades NT in dallas was jay ratliff who is basically kyle williams.
  3. Of course I don't want to lose this scheme. I just dont like henderson as the dc. I would prefer O'Neil or Spencer both of them also learned from rex.
  4. If pettine leaves who are the candidates to replace him? Please dont say donnie henderson. He has been a dc twice and sucked horribly both times.
  5. I don't understand all the OLB talk. We run an aggressive 3-4 hybrid with a ton of blitzes from the OLB spot. The OLBs in our D are 4-3 DEs. Kiko would absolutely disappear as an OLB in this scheme, his size would hurt him even more on the outside. Mario is a better fit as an OLB than kiko is.
  6. Actually he was with the packers before. I think he was a QB coach a few years before he became the head coach.
  7. McCarthy was hired from the 49ers(OC) and Tomlin was hired from I want to say the Vikings(DC).
  8. A dolphins fan was talking to me about his at the game. He said that the lg would tap the center to tell him to snap the ball. I have seen a lot of teams do this including the bills(not very much recently) I never understood why they would do this because it allows the d to know when you will snap the ball.
  9. Win. 4-2 in the division and a 7-9 record with a beating on the patriots is a big step in the right direction. Plus the pats always destroy us in the second game. 31-0 would be nice
  10. How long ago did they install the lamps? I don't remember seeing them before today. Our seats were supposed to be under them but we sat somewhere else. We were laughing because everyone was in t shirts. I agree this was probably the best event I have ever been to. It was like a big bills Christmas party. There were a few a holes in the crowd but overall it was one of the best crowds I have seen at a bills game in many years. Small, friendly, smart and loud and the fin fans weren't bad at all. Great day today.
  11. so you would rather take a taller guy that isn't as talented just because he is tall? Russell Wilson says hi.
  12. Lawson is a full time starter and Hughes plays the other OLB position on the opposite side. We don't play a straight up 3-4, 4-3 or any other combination so who starts and where all depends on the personnel group we use. But Lawson has been the starter at one OLB(I want to sayROLB)for a majority of the games.
  13. 2.5 seconds is a long time in the pocket. Also is more than enough time for receivers to get open. Only problem is EJ can't find them. I am also on the "we should have kept da'rick" train. I watched him in camp and knew he would get cut. Because of his attitude. However I believe he has talent and we shouldn't just let talent walk for nothing. Da'rick is another TO. Short slants and send him deep. EJ is obsessed with checking down and da'ricks a tackle breaking and run after catch WR. He may not become great but his floor is a solid possession WR. We should have kept him
  14. To add to this watch how Goodwin tracks the ball when going up for it. His eyes, hands and whole body adjust to where the ball is going. Graham just jumps and puts his hands out and the ball sails between them and bounce off his chest. I feel that Goodwin is gonna be a great one if we can get a QB to get him the ball
  15. This is about the officiating as a whole. Not just the Bills. There has been more and more questionable calls all around the league.
  16. I have been feeling this way since goodell became dictator. I have put up with the crap they call officiating for a while but when I see one team get penalized for something and not the other in the same game it pisses me off. The constant rule changes, the inconsistency in the calls, the favoritism, and the game changing taking a team by the hand and leading them to the endzone make me not want to watch or go to the games anymore. I'm at the point where I'm going to give up my passion. I love football. But it's becoming less the loyal girlfriend and more the cheating whore that you need to cut loose
  17. Unless the ref had X-ray vision there is no possible way he could have saw that. The receiver was blocking his view. I believe it was the same line judge that called both of those late penalties and also spotted ej down before the goal line when he clearly scored. did we have the choice to take that? It seemed like everything was rushed after that I didn't see anyone on the bills side say take the penalty.
