I watch cbs every week. I cant watch fox. It is possibly the worst trash on tv. I cant watch the pre game. I cant watch games I cant watch anything to do with sports on fox it is beyond terrible

So you only watched one of the few games that he didnt dominate and from what you said you watched on tv where the camera man controls who you watch. Funny I was at every home game and focused on mack every game. It was obvious to everyone that watched him that he is worthy of a top 10 pick. He destroyed triple teams and consistently is in the back field dictating where the offense can go.

Mack. I feel he is more talented. He can stop the run, rush the passer and drop in coverage. Also he was the focal point of every offense he faced and still dominated

SF runs a 3-4, seattle runs a 4-3 that acts like a 3-4. Denver also with alot of pressure from their linebackers. Most of the top defense's are hybrids. We have 3 good line man and a hybrid LB/DE in Hughes that so far has looked horrible in a 4-3 and started to show promise in a hybrid D with the colts and had a good year in another hybrid D last year. In the year we ran a 4-3 our pass rush wasnt very good with mario, kyle and dareus. In todays NFL the defense needs to be able to disguise and trick the offense. Its a lot harder to do that when you know what 4 guys are coming and where they are coming from. I have never liked schwartzs defenses with tenn and det. I hope he changes from what he has been doing to accommodate our players strengths and not runba straight up 4-3 or this wide 9 garbage.

Im hoping we keep donnie and (I know its a long shot) oneil. I just live the D that we ran last year and I would hope schwartz would use some of it in his scheme this year. Also are there any articles out that break down the D schwartz it going to run? All I keep hearing is wide 9.

Watch any of the last couple games we came out in a straight up 3-4 a lot. The mario williams strip sack Hughes was also standing up as a LB... come on man pay attention

We ran more 34 than most of you think. Mario and hughes were linebackers more often than not. Our 3 lineman were dareus, branch, and williams in what ever order the play call dictated. Yes mario and Hughes had their hands in the dirt a lot but look at the cowboys and Ware when they had phillips. We ran a 34 over/under/4-3 over/under... the last couple of games we ran a lot of straight up 3-4

Moving back to a 4-3 would make sense for the continuity factor that many people say leads to success. /sarcasm

You posted this before pettine was hired as the browns coach. Im curious as to why spikes would be a fit with the jets and not here when we run/ran the same scheme as them?

his defense was good enough to make the playoffs and prove you wrong that we dont have the players to run his scheme. We also have branch who enjoys taking on double teams who could play a 2 gap NT and dareus who also can do this but is more valuable as a pass rusher. But any way you look at it we are set up to run almost any defense known to man. Our players are all versatile

We already run a 3-4... wade would equal little change. Our roster would work very well with a wade phillips D. Look up any article on phillips D and it is almost tailor fitted for our team.
