lol I knew this was coming and I feel that he lucked into the QBs he had. However he is very thorough when looking for a qb. His opinions and his qb rankings while with ESPN have been pretty much right and make the "experts" look stupid when it comes to QBs. However the last few drafts anyone could have known the QBs suck. I don't really want Polian to come here. I dont like his drafting other than the no brainer QB picks. I wasn't impressed with his work in indy and he made the stupid decision to give his son a job If anyone were to come in I would want it to be Ron Wolf and his draft a qb every year philosophy(It may not be every single year for the people that get bent out of shape if your off on your stats)

I agree with this. This was one game where I thought cj actually ran hard to the hole and didn't dance or try to break it outside. There was just a defender there to tackle him because the line played horrible.

if they were trying to be a power run team than why did they put converted tackles at guard where they have less leverage and push in the run game. Why do they throw 40+ times a game. Why do they ignore the guard position that is important for power running. This offensive coaching staff doesn't know what they want to be. They throw **** at the wall and hope for the best. Why do we try to run out of shotgun if we want to be a running team. why do we only have 3 running plays? This offense is the exact opposite of what I am talking about

just curious as to why a run first coach would be risky. IMO teams now are built to stop the pass and rush the passer I think a strong running team would do well against this type of defense. A strong running team would keep the time of possession in our favor the opposing qb off the field and our defense well rested. it is much easier to build a strong o-line and find a good running back than it is finding a quarterback. it also takes the pressure off of a young QB. We are built to be a running team with our strong defense. if we had a decent run game and not throw the ball 40+ times a game we would be in the playoffs.

Since he became president we have had a better roster than we have had since the 90s. We have the best record since the early 2000s. I have no problem with him staying. My only problem with him and any one in the front office is they haven't found a qb or been trying very hard to find one. He wasn't very good as a gm but as team president he has been fine
