I was. He has been my favorite coach for a long time. Took a lot of crap on another board defending him and talking him up while he was with the jets. He does have to make some improvements as a HC and I hope he has learned from the mistakes he has made. The biggest difference between this year and last is that everyone is on the same page working towards a shared idea of how a team should be built. We don't have St. Douglas/canthackett and their 3 play offensive playbook. We have coaches on both sides of the ball that have been in the NFL. We have owners that share a cry with Percy. coaching Jesus is the reason Chick-fil-A is closed on sundays. Just another reason to hate him

I started a franchise with the bills and simulated the entire season with out changing anything or anyone and 8 out of 11 times the bills made the super bowl and 6 of 8 we won. Also this is madden 15 and the guy just changed the rosters. He must not be much of a bills fan if he gave Harvin No. 12 as that number is retired

look up rush D stats from every team Rex was DC or HC.

I gave him a B, but should be an A. He along with Buddy and Russ have built one of the best rosters in the entire league. I am being tough because of the lack of a franchise QB, but that is the hardest position to find and so far none have been available. It's not like he hasn't been looking or trying to get better at that position. Offensive line is also a problem but i put most of the blame on Douglas "O-Line Guru" Marrone. He has done a very good job. I don't understand the hate some people have for him but some people just love to be miserable negative Nancy's

Did the Bills make any attempt to acquire Drew Brees from the Saints?: We were not contacted by New Orleans or San Diego, about Brees or (Phil) Rivers. Did I miss Rivers being mentioned or did Whaley bring that up on his own? If he brought it up on his own then that means Rivers...

there are so many more possibilities than just the MLB to cover the flat. The safety could come up. The corner could have the responsibility. If playing in zone where he(MLB) just basically has to be in front of the RB and tackle him after the catch spikes will be fine. There are ways to scheme around a players weakness. if Harris and Bart Scott fit Rex's scheme than Brandon does just fine.

wouldn't change anything with me. I think woods is a better and has more value to the team. It's hard to compare different positions but woods has been more consistent, has made more and game changing plays and the best ability is availability. I Have had the same opinions since before the trade. I thought Kiko was good in coverage and pettine masked his weaknesses by not asking him to do much.

there also can be the argument that kiko would have left after his rookie deal expired. I will miss Kiko's coverage ability tho

I don't get the star linebacker part. Kiko was showing signs that he could become a great backer but other than a handful of games kiko was average. Yes he made a lot of tackles but that's not a good way to decide greatness. Pettine didn't really use him many different ways. Almost every play was fake a blitz and drop into coverage in the flat. Once teams figured this out he wasn't really heard from anymore. I would say he is a good linebacker that has good coverage skills but not a star. I think woods has a bigger impact on games than kiko did. Kiko had the best defensive line in the league in front of him. Woods has QBs that are described as "meh" and produces.
