  1. guy has pretty much been right since he started talking about the bills
  2. Wow. Read the Sammy article. This is exactly what we need right now. We need the players to lead. Jerry, tyrod, and Sammy are stepping up.
  3. I'm against firing coaches after one year but this is bad. IF. IF we do go that route I would like hue jackson. Not sure who on defense, maybe gym shorts comes back.
  4. we are better off without him. We can find someone that is faster and has better hands to come up a yard short on third down
  5. Chris hogan should be fired along with Rex after this
  6. How often is lacanfora right? I seem to Remember him saying a lot of stuff about the bills that never comes true. I don't understand the Whaley hate. Anytime I get in a debate about him the only thing the Whaley haters have to say is he traded cassel but 2 months before you were complaining that he traded for cassel. I understand this is buffalo and 2015 and we absolutely have to complain about every little thing but damn.
  7. It sucks but he brought it upon himself. Jerry Hughes isn't being used correctly either but he goes balls to the wall every play and still makes an impact even if it doesn't show on the Stat sheet. His freelancing has cost us games. I was very happy we signed him a few years ago, was very annoyed with him his first year under wanny and with his wrist and whining. Under pettine and shorts he was amazing and now he's back to whining and not performing again. I hope we can get something for him if we decide to part ways, anything is better than nothing.
  8. Reading this thread I'm convinced there are a couple people that actually know who Sammy Watkins and Khalil Mack are and watched them play and the rest just throw crap at the wall and hope it sticks.
  9. I don't think any are on macks level, but miles jack was pretty good before the injury. No idea how his rehab is going.
  10. I think pettine and gym shorts both used our pass rushers to rush the passer. Assigned them a gap and attack it. Rex/Thurman are playing a zone blitz type scheme with the lineman sometimes just anchoring. If we had the steelers lineman and linebackers from 7 years ago that would be cool but we dont.
  11. this was the first thing I thought of. QB sees lineman jump and throws deep knowing he has a free play. This made things exciting. I guess the NFL thinks penalties are exciting. The way the game is called now knowing every little detail in the rule book and exploiting what you can seems to be the way to win. Look at new england and Seattle. They used to mug receivers all over the field. this. All the moving around by the lineman is clouding up other areas like illegal formation or shifts. It's getting to the point where wide receivers are moving around and multiple players are not set at the snap. Everything now is a judgement call. So if you get on the refs bad side like we always do we are gonna get called. We should buy all the refs gift baskets or something. Happy holidays from your friends the bills mafia.
  12. when the announcers call a clear penalty a great play or laugh about it drives me nuts. "What a great push off by the wide receiver to gain separation for that touchdown" umm thats OPI. so they should just sit there and take horrible call after horrible call and not say anything? What a kitty line of thinking. Every coach in the NFL curses out the refs.
  13. didn't hear anything on the radio. Ed usually gives a pretty detailed explanation.
  14. I have been noticing this a lot in the nfl. Either the guard will tap the center and a second later the ball is snapped or the center bobs his head and snaps right after. I don't understand how teams haven't picked up on that, it's been happening for a while. Things like this make me question the nfl. If fans can pick it up watching 3 games a week, why can't coaches and players.
  15. he's good at it. He can play every linebacker position in any defense and both DE in a 43. The guy can do it all. Cover, rush the passer, and stop the run. He is a perfect fit for anything you want to do.
  16. I was hoping we drafted him when we traded up for sammy. I thought mack fit what we did perfectly. Mack can be the best at each linebacker and DE positions the guys skill set is unbelievable. It was a treat to watch him at UB. Great to see UB players shine in the NFL
  17. Been saying this the whole year. If he doesn't just rush the passer he whines and acts like a baby. Don't let him have any type of injury or he will be blocked one on one by Wayne hunter and cry about hands to the face. I liked Mario when we got him and the last couple years but him taking games off and complain about everything instead of trying gets old quick
  18. I don't think it's just WRs asking for clarification. I think it is everybody that has anything thing to with football and anyone that has an interest in it. There is no consistency with it. One play the receiver gets his hands on it but drops it before getting any type of control or taking a step or making a move and it's called a fumble but a couple drives later receiver catches the ball, tucks it so ball is secure, takes 4-5 steps, gets hit and goes to the ground with possession then rolls over and as he's getting up the corner hits the ball out of his hands. No catch. I don't know if it's more of the referees are incompetent or the rules are that messed up but every referee crew is very inconsistent in what they call complete or incomplete. They had Mike Carey on during a review and he said that clearly wasn't a catch here's why____. The red came back and said it WAS a catch and here is why _____. Then the announcer went on and on about how the referees don't even know what is a catch.
  19. "powered by Labatt Blue" made me laugh.
  20. Is this the guy that was kinda highly rated coming out of college as a speed rushing DE/OLB but ran a terrible 40 and dropped? Don't know much about him as a pro. If he's good, sign him or claim him or whatever. edit: someone tweeted that obj bought the whole team beats headphones and Jenkins took a couple pairs and Moore didn't get his. What a dick.
  21. he is usually smiling and seems very happy when the cameras are on him on the sidelines. He was high fiveing rex. We throw the ball 20 times a game.... everyone's targets are down. the field is very slippery if there is any moisture. The blades of "grass" are smooth plastic or something similar.
