Roughing the passer rules
Not at the table Karlos replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you talking about the play where Oliver got to him and brought Brady down on top of himself? Yeah that’s not a penalty -
Hurdling on the field goal attempt.

Just providing the link to the roughing the passer penalties and qb that benefits. I’m surprised fitz tops the list. Brady is 7th. https://www.nflpenalties.com/roughing-the-passer-by-qb.php? -

I don’t remember what yard line it was but it was play where Gilmore was flagged for holding or interference but they picked it up. Either way it was a bad pass lol

I can’t find a replay of it but my recollection was it was in front of him but at his feet. With out the tug he could have dove or fell for it. Could be wrong because I only saw it once and went in other room yelling

Or is it the young qb fails to pull the trigger on open wrs with protection from his line instead holding on to the ball too long leading to pressure and throwing the ball off his back foot for an easy pick? There were times the WRs didn’t get open and josh had protection. He ran around and took horrible sacks instead of throwing it away or running for a few yards. A couple times taking us out of field goal range. Josh’s terrible decision making was the problem yesterday. He holds on to the ball way too long. There are a lot of plays where if he threw the ball as soon as he hit the top of his drop he had receivers that were open. But he waited and coverage caught up. Happens a lot with Allen. Balls should be delivered already, he second guesses the throw and it’s too late.

We played the exact opposite of perfect football and were 2 yards from taking lead and most likely winning. I disagree that we needed a perfect game to win. -
The pick that was intended for zay he had a RB wide open in the flat because the Defender fell down. Allen looked and threw it deep anyway. He misses open WRs a lot. His game doesnt make sense at the moment. He will trust his arm to throw into triple coverage and it’s a complete disaster but won’t trust his arm to throw to a wr that made his break against single coverage and came open. His decision making is all over the place and he still needs a lot of work on his touch.

The way he throws the deep ball it’s very hard for any WR to track. It’s coming in low and fast. The angle it’s coming in at if it were accurate would be a pretty tough catch. His deep balls are either way over the head or easily intercepted because of said angles. Needs more of an arc so the WRs can track it and run under it.

How is Ed Oliver playing?
Not at the table Karlos replied to dayman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looks like he’s getting doubled a lot. Still seems to be pushing the pocket and causing pressure. Like others have said his strength for his size is impressive. He just needs to learn some more pass rush moves and use his agility a little more. -
He needs to get more air under them and throw more of a rainbow so his receiver can run under it. He zips it in there too hard and if he’s not super accurate it just flies over wrs head. On a fly route if the ball is accurate it would be a tough catch any way because of the angle. It seems like he only throws the rainbow about 15 yards down field to the sideline. Idk why he won’t do it any deeper

What don’t you understand? That everyone was looking for the run on that third down or that they should have ran a play action? -

If Allen out, who backs up Barkley?

If he went down I think Knox prob would have played. Can’t think of anyone else with qb experience off top of my head. -

Advice needed: Dog got sprayed by a skunk.
Not at the table Karlos replied to gomper's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Neighbors dog got sprayed by skunk last year. Bathed her in gallons of tomato juice, ketchup, shampoo and a few other things recommended online. Nothing really worked and took a few weeks for the smell to go down. -
My brothers high school games were hilarious. There was one offensive lineman that was 6’4” 260 and the rest were 5’6” 110. The running back was a very un-athletic to be nice kid about 5’7” 230. The QB would just throw the ball as high as he could straight up in the air on 75% of his throws. Sometimes they made it past the LOS. They also ran only 3 plays on offense. Fb trap, HB sweep, and slants. The coach was terrible and their best players rarely saw the field besides the big OL. The only time they scored is when they put the backups in after the game got out of hand. Made no sense. Parents would scream at the coach constantly telling him how dumb he was.
