  1. Ball just needs to make it past the unblocked DL and delivered to the X. What’s so difficult about this throw? The safety is moving to the right. Brown reads that and stops in the open zone.
  2. People said the same thing when I pointed out Trent, ej and tyrod were missing open receivers. Attack all you want but josh needs work.
  3. The ball just needed to make it over the defensive lineman. So in other words not a straight line. Good god you people love to twist words to make it something it’s not. Simple things like leading a receiver and touch are completely lost on a lot of you people. Good thing none of you have anything to do with sports in general Edit- I like Allen as our QB. I’m not saying he’s terrible or won’t ever be good. He’s good enough to win games now. But I’m not satisfied with good enough like most of the people on this board. I’m saying he has to work on things. One of them is making quick decisions. He doesn’t seem to trust what he’s seeing or second guesses and window of opportunity closes. It’s been happening since he got here and is getting worse. He has a strong arm, good enough accuracy and a very quick release to make any throw on the field including the throw I’m talking about on this play. He will try to force a ball into coverage when running backwards and throwing off of his back foot but won’t force one in when he has his feet set and enough time time to throw. Qbs in the nfl have to be able to make quick decision tight window throws.
  4. The lb that’s a couple yards under and behind? ? Why can other nfl qbs make that throw all the time but with josh it’s excuse after excuse why he misses open receivers.
  5. It’s a play nfl qbs routinely make. A touch pass with a little air under it gets it to brown easily. Can even throw it behind him where there’s nobody within 10 yards because he stops his route in the open spot. The only player he needs to get the ball over is the D-Lineman
  6. Smh the excuses people make are astounding. Brown is open even if the roll out is the opposite way. He has plenty of room behind him to be thrown even more open than he is. It’s a throw an nfl qb should be able to make, especially one with a strong arm like josh. Its like the people that defend a politician when they say something dumb. Saying brown isn’t open even if the play design is to the right of the field(where brown is running to until he found an open spot in the zone) is just idiotic and blind homerism. You provide a clear example and people still deny it. It’s mindboggling. I said the same thing about ej and people tried to deny it happened even with video evidence.
  7. So what’s the definition of open in the nfl?
  8. Prob about 10 years back I was working in Little Valley. Pretty big storm came through and flooded the whole area. Took us about 10 hours to get from little valley to buffalo. There were very large chunks of road from who knows where all over the place. Downtown Ellicottville was completely flooded and couldn’t get through. Gowanda got it pretty bad I think their hospital had to be closed for good after. Was amazing how easily the roads washed away.
  9. Only reason I went to smackdown last night and he’s stuck in Saudi Arabia
  10. it just me or is John brown open at 3 seconds in?
  11. I would say sign a vet for 1-2 years, draft that position as well and develop your own players on both sides of the ball.
  12. Two. Would have been three but the wind knocked the kid down walking up the driveway and he ran back to the car.
  13. He needs to work on pass rush moves. He was pretty raw at them coming in to the league. Technique is huge in the pros.
  14. I think gostkowski was the kicker when we played pats
  15. Good post. Anytime I bring up him missing receivers people pile on and it gets old. My apologies. Wouldnt him going through his reads too fast or slow be a form of struggling to read the field though? And him going too fast or slow is causing him to miss open receivers. Would I be wrong in saying that? I said he has to get better at finding the open guy before bringing in more players. The receivers get open. I’m not saying he’s terrible or I don’t like him. I think he has all the tools and the competitive drive to be a successful qb. He needs to work on finding the open guy and delivering it that’s all I’m saying. But people take that as I’m saying he’s terrible and never completed a pass to anyone in his life. Watch some replays from the endzone view. John Murphy show has them a lot. They show his eyes and where he’s looking. More than a few times it shows him look at a receiver #### back like he’s gonna throw then pulls the ball down while the receiver is still open and take a sack or run for a couple yards when he had an easy throw for a td.
  16. They don’t have them in the upper deck where you can watch everything develop either. But nice try
  17. 1. I was replying to a post in this thread. 2. I’ve tried. Pics don’t upload. 3. A lot of it watching live.
  18. @thebandit27 if you’re so confused go watch the all-22. See all the open receivers Allen misses. It’s all on film for everyone to see. I don’t understand why people refuse to believe it when it’s right in front of their face. Go to the games, sit in the upper deck so you can see everything unfold. It happens every week. Smh
  19. Allen struggles to find open receivers. The ones we have get open. Why get more when he doesn’t use the ones we have? Allen needs to read what’s in front of him a lot better than he has.
  20. Let him sling it. He has the talent to put a ball anywhere. But he needs to improve decision making. I think he second guesses himself.
  21. Thanks I was looking for that.
  22. McDermott seems to prefer older running backs. Tolbert, Ivory, Gore. Idk if he doesn’t trust the younger backs or what but he’s been using the older backs since he got here. Singletary might be the receiving back atm I saw he has something like 70% of his snaps he’s running a route
  23. Also Allen at times flat out refuses to throw to open receivers.
  24. I agree. McBeane has been odd with their rb pecking order. They like older backs for some reason. Tolbert, ivory, gore. I blame the coaches for using gore more than singletary. Also blame them for not running either of them more
  25. One bad game as a rookie and now Ed doesn’t have a true position. ?‍♂️
